SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and injury to person, including the following:

1. Read all instructions before using heater.

2. Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by

the manufacturer may cause fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons.

3. Make certain that the power source conforms to the electrical requirements of the

heater.

4. Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids

and whenever the heater is left operating unattended.

5. The appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the

risk of electric shock this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If

the plug of heater does not fit fully in the outlet, contact a qualified electrician. Do not

attempt to override this safety feature.

6. Warning - Always plug heater directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with

an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

7. Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or after the heater malfunctions, has

been dropped or damaged in any manner. Return heater to authorized service facility

for examination, electrical or mechanical adjustment or repair.

8. Unplug power cord before servicing or moving the heater. Always unplug heater

when not in use.

9. Do not use the fan heater in rooms with explosive gas or while using inflammable

solvents, varnish or glue.

10.

Warning: In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.

11.Do not let animals or children touch or play with the fan heater. Pay attention! The air

outlet gets hot during operation.

12.Do not leave your home while the appliance is in function. Ensure that the switch is

in off (0) position and the thermostat is in minimum position.

WARNING: DO NOT DEPEND ON THE ON/OFF SWITCH AS THE SOLE MEANS OF

DISCONNECTING POWER WHEN SERVICING OR MOVING THE HEATER. ALWAYS

UNPLUG THE POWER CORD.

13.Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust

opening as it may cause an electric shock or fire or damage the heater. Do not block

or tamper with the heater in any manner while it is in operation.

14.To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not

place heater on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

15. Always place the heater on a stable, flat, level surface when operating to avoid the

chance of the heater overturning. Locate the power cord so the heater or other

objects are not resting on it. Do not run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover

power cord with throw rugs, runners, or the like. Arrange power cord away from room

traffic and where it will not be tripped over.

16.This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot

surfaces. Always use handle when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials

such as furniture, pillows, bedding,papers, clothes and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9m)

from the sides and rear.

17. A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. It must not be used in

potentially dangerous locations where there are flammable or explosive materials,

chemicals and/or a wet atmosphere.This heater is intended for general use only.

18.This heater is not intended for use in wet or damp locations. Never locate a heater

where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

19. Do not use heater outdoors.

WARNING: REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE OR ELECTRIC SHOCK. DO NOT USE

THIS HEATER WITH ANY SOLID STATE SPEED CONTROL DEVICES.

WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. This is a safety feature. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may overheat and cause risk of fire. Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).

FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY

1. Always unplug the heater when not in use. Do not pull the cord to unplug the heater.

2.Keep the air inlet and outlet free from objects: at least 3.3 ft. in front and 35 in. behind the

heater.

3. Do not locate the heater right below a socket.

4. Do not use this fan heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a

swimming pool.

5. Keep the fan heater clean. Do not allow any objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust

opening as this may cause electric shock or fire or damage to the heater.

WARNINGS

-Do not use the appliance in the vicinity of showers, bathtubs, wash basins, swimming pools,

etc.

- Always use the heater in an upright position.

-Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles (danger

of overheating).

-Do not place it against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.

-Replacement of the cable must be entrusted only to a technician authorized by the

manufacturer because such work requires special tools.

-The appliance must not be positioned directly underneath a socket.

-Do not use the appliance in rooms less than 43 sq. ft. area.

-Heater should not be located below a socket-outlet.

The heater is fitted with a thermal overload protector which will switch off the heater in case

of accidental overheating (ex. obstruction of air intake and outlet grilles, motor turning slowly

or not at all).

To reset, disconnect the plug from the power for a few minutes, remove the cause of

overheating then plug the appliance in again.

WARNING

To avoid injury from unexpected starting or electrical shock, do not plug the power cord

into a source of power during unpacking and assembly. The cord must remain unplugged

whenever you are adjusting/assembling the heater.

If any part is missing or damaged, do not attempt to use or plug in the power cord until the

missing or damaged part is correctly replaced. To avoid electric shock, use only identical

replacement parts when servicing double-insulated tools.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

This appliance requires no installation. It should be used solely as a portable appliance.

Portable appliances are not suitable for use in a bathroom.

•Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to increase the thermostat setting temperature.

•Turn the thermostat knob counterclockwise to decrease the thermostat setting temperature.

•Depress the oscillation button to set the heater to oscillate back and forth; press the button

again to turn off oscillation.

SAFETY PROTECTION SYSTEMS

This product has protection safeguards that shut off the product when parts become excessively hot or if it tips over. If the product shuts off, immediately turn the control to the "OFF" position and unplug it from the electric outlet.

If tipped over:

Place the product on a flat, level, stable surface in order to prevent the product from tipping over again.

TIP: Always install and maintain at least one smoke detector in good operating condition on each floor of your home. Periodically check and/or replace the battery in your smoke detector with a new battery.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Before cleaning always remove the plug from the electrical socket.

Clean the air inlet /outlet grilles frequently.

Never use abrasive powders or solvents.

MAINTENANCE

WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING OR SERVICING. DO

NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER!

CLEANING: IMPORTANT! DO NOT IMMERSE HEATER IN WATER! Clean the heater grilles with the vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt from the inside of the heater. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO TAKE HEATER APART.

Clean the body of heater with a soft cloth.

CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc., as they will damage the heater.NEVER USE ALCOHOL OR SOLVENTS.

STORAGE: Store the heater with these instructions in the original carton in a cool, dry place.

1-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

The manufacturer warrants that your new Electric heater is free from manufacturing and material defects for a period of one year from date of purchase, subject to the following conditions and limitations.

1. Install and operate this Electric heater in accordance with the installation and

operating instructions furnished with the product at all times. Any unauthorized repair,

alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product shall nullify this warranty.

2. This warranty is non-transferable, and is made to the original owner, provided that

the purchase was made through an authorized supplier of the product.

3. The warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of part(s) found to be defective in

material or workmanship, provided that such part(s) have been subjected to normal

conditions of use and service, after said defect is confirmed by the manufacturer’s

inspection.

4. The manufacturer may, at its discretion, fully discharge all obligations with respect to

this warranty by refunding the wholesale price of the defective part(s).

5. Any installation, labor, construction, transportation, or other related costs/expenses

arising from defective part(s), repair, replacement, or otherwise of same, will not be

covered by this warranty, or shall the manufacturer assume responsibility for same.

6. The owner/user assumes all other risks, if any, including the risk of any direct, indirect

or consequential loss or damage arising out of the use, or inability to use the product,

except as provided by law.

7. All other warranties – expressed or implied –with respect to the product, its

components and accessories, or any obligations/liabilities on the part of the

manufacturer are hereby expressly excluded.

8. The manufacturer neither assumes, nor authorizes any third party to assume on its

behalf, any other liabilities with respect to the sale of the product.

9. The warranties as outlined within this document do not apply to non accessories

used in conjunction with the installation of this product.

10. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights

which vary from state to state.

This warranty is void if: a. The heater is subjected to prolonged periods of dampness or condensation.

b. Any unauthorized alteration, willful abuse, accident, or misuse of the product.

c. You do not have the original receipt of purchase.

INFORMACIÓN DE SEGURIDAD

Cuando utilice electrodomésticos, siempre tome medidas de precaución básicas para

15. Siempre coloque el calentador sobre una superficie estable, plana y nivelada

cuando esté en funcionamiento; esto es con el fin de evitar la posibilidad de

volcamiento. Coloque el cable de alimentación de manera que el calentador u otro

objeto no descansen sobre él. No coloque el cable de alimentación debajo de una

alfombra. No cubra el cable de alimentación con alfombras, tapetes o similares.

Coloque el cable de alimentación lejos de espacios de tránsito en donde nadie se

pueda tropezar y caer.

16. Este artículo se calienta cuando está en funcionamiento. Para evitar quemaduras,

no toque superficies calientes con la piel desnuda. Siempre utilice la manija para

trasladar el calentador. Mantenga el material inflamable, como muebles, almohadas,

ropa de cama, papeles, ropa y cortinas al menos a 0,9 m. (3 pies) de los costados y

la parte posterior.

17. Un calentador contiene partes calientes y piezas que forman arcos eléctricos o que

echan chispas. No debe usarse en lugares potencialmente peligrosos, donde

existan materiales inflamables o explosivos, productos químicos ni en ambientes

húmedos.Este calentador está diseñado solo para uso general.

18. Este calentador no está diseñado para su uso en ubicaciones húmedas ni mojadas.

Nunca coloque un calentador donde se pueda caer dentro de una bañera u otro

contenedor de agua.

19. No utilice el calentador al aire libre.

ADVERTENCIA: Este producto está equipado con un enchufe polarizado (una clavija es más ancha que la otra) para reducir el riesgo de descarga eléctrica. El enchufe podrá colocarse en un tomacorriente polarizado de una sola manera. Ésta es una medida de seguridad. Siempre enchufe los calentadores directamente en un receptáculo o tomacorriente de pared. PARA SU PROPIA SEGURIDAD

1. Siempre desenchufe el calentador cuando no lo use. No jale del cable para

desenchufar el calentador.

2. Mantenga la entrada y la salida de aire libre de obstrucciones: al menos 1,01

m en el frente y 88,90 cm detrás del calentador.

3. No ubique el calentador inmediatamente debajo de un tomacorriente.

4. No use este calentador de ventilador en alrededores inmediatos de

bañeras, duchas o piscinas.

5. Mantenga el calentador de ventilador limpio. No permita que objetos

extraños entren en las aberturas de escape o ventilación, ya que pueden

provocar descargas eléctricas, incendios o daños al calentador.

ADVERTENCIAS

- No use el electrodoméstico cerca de duchas, bañeras, lavabos, piscinas, entre otros.

- Siempre almacene el calentador en posición vertical.

- No use el calentador para secar ropa. Nunca obstruya las rejillas de entrada

y salida (peligro de sobrecalentamiento).

- No lo coloque contra paredes, muebles, cortinas, entre otros.

- El reemplazo del cable solo debe realizarlo un técnico autorizado por el

fabricante dado que ese tipo de trabajo requiere herramientas especiales.

- No debe colocar el electrodoméstico directamente bajo un tomacorriente.

- No use el electrodoméstico en espacios de un área menor a 4 m 2 .

- No ubique el calentador debajo de un tomacorriente fijo.

El calentador cuenta con un protector de sobrecarga térmico que apaga el calentador en caso de sobrecalentamiento accidental (por ej., obstrucciones de las rejillas de entrada y la salida de aire, si el motor se detiene lentamente o si no funciona). Para reiniciar, desconecte el enchufe de la fuente de alimentación durante unos minutos, retire la causa del sobrecalentamiento y vuelva a enchufar el electrodoméstico.

ADVERTENCIA

Para evitar lesiones por arranque inesperado o descarga eléctrica, no

enchufe el cable de alimentación en la fuente de alimentación durante el

desembalaje y el ensamblaje. El cable debe permanecer desenchufado

mientras ajusta o ensambla el calentador.

Si alguna pieza falta o está dañada, no intente usar ni enchufar el cable

de alimentación hasta reparar o reemplazar la pieza correctamente. Para

evitar una descarga eléctrica, utilice solo piezas de repuesto idénticas a

las del fabricante cuando repare una herramienta con doble aislamiento.

SISTEMAS DE PROTECCIÓN DE SEGURIDAD

Este producto tiene protección preventiva que apaga el producto cuando las piezas se sobrecalientan o si éste se vuelca. Si el producto se apaga, gire inmediatamente el control a la posición "OFF" (APAGADO) y luego desenchúfelo del tomacorriente.

Si se vuelca:

Coloque el producto en una superficie plana, nivelada y estable para evitar que se vuelque nuevamente.

CONSEJO: Siempre instale y tenga al menos un detector de humo en buenas condiciones de funcionamiento en cada piso de su hogar.

Verifique periódicamente y/o reemplace la batería del detector de humo por una nueva batería.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO

Siempre desconecte el enchufe del tomacorriente antes de limpiarlo.

Limpie las rejillas de entrada y salida de aire frecuentemente.

Nunca use polvos abrasivos ni solventes.

LIMPIEZA: ¡IMPORTANTE! NO SUMERJA EL CALENTADOR EN AGUA. Limpie las rejillas del calentador con el accesorio del cepillo aspirador de su aspiradora. Esto quitará pelusas y suciedad del interior del calentador. NO INTENTE DESMONTAR EL

CALENTADOR. Limpie el cuerpo del calentador con un paño suave.

PRECAUCIÓN: No usar gasolina, bencina, disolvente, limpiadores abrasivos, etc. ya que es probable que dañen el calentador.

NUNCA UTILICE ALCOHOL NI SOLVENTES.

ALMACENAJE: Almacene el calentador con estas instrucciones en la caja original en un lugar fresco y seco.

GARANTÍA LIMITADA DE 1 AÑO

El fabricante garantiza que su nueva estufa eléctrica no presentará defectos de fabricación ni materiales durante un período de un año a partir de la fecha de compra, siempre y cuando se cumplan las siguientes condiciones y limitaciones.

1. Esta estufa eléctrica se debe instalar y operar en todo momento de acuerdo con las

instrucciones de instalación y operación proporcionadas con el producto. Cualquier

reparación no autorizada, alteración, abuso deliberado, accidente o uso inadecuado

del producto anulará esta garantía.

2. Esta garantía no es transferible y sólo está disponible para el propietario original,

siempre y cuando la compra se haya realizado a través de un proveedor autorizado

del producto.

3. Esta garantía se limita a la reparación o reemplazo de piezas que se consideren

defectuosas en material o mano de obra, siempre y cuando dicha pieza haya estado

sometida a condiciones normales de uso y servicio, después de que una inspección

por parte del fabricante confirme dicho defecto.

4. El fabricante podrá, bajo su criterio, eximirse de toda obligación respecto de esta

garantía reembolsando el precio al por mayor de la pieza defectuosa.

5. Esta garantía no cubre·ningún costo de instalación, mano de obra, fabricación,

transporte o de otro tipo que surja de la pieza defectuosa, su reparación, reemplazo u

otra situación, y el fabricante no asume ninguna responsabilidad por las mismas.

6. El dueño/usuario asume todos los riegos, si los hay, incluidos los riesgos de daños o

pérdidas directos, indirectos o resultantes que surjan del uso del producto, o de la

incapacidad para usarlo, salvo que la ley estipule lo contrario.

7. Mediante el presente, se excluye expresamente cualquier otra garantía, expresa o

implícita, respecto del producto, sus componentes y accesorios, o cualquier otra

obligación o responsabilidad de parte del fabricante.

8. El fabricante no asume ni autoriza a ningún tercero a asumir en su nombre ninguna

otra responsabilidad respecto de la venta de este producto.

9. Las garantías descritas en este documento no se aplican a accesorios que no sean

del fabricante y que se usen junto con la instalación de este producto.

10. Esta garantía le otorga derechos legales específicos y es posible que usted tenga

otros derechos, que varían según el estado.

Esta garantía es nula si: a. La chimenea está sometida a períodos prolongados de humedad o condensación.

b. Se produce cualquier alteración no autorizada, abuso deliberado, accidente o uso

inadecuado del producto.

c. Usted no tiene el recibo original de compra.
