How to Turn on & off:

Press down the switch “G” on the pen clip and hold till LED “E” will stay illuminated. To turn off, press down the switch “G” and hold “G” until the unit turns off the LED light. This unit is equipped with electronic power off when you turn it off.

How to record Voice:

After power on the unit, toggle the “A” selector button to the left and hold it until the LED “D” comes on, toggle the

“A” to the right and the light will flash and device is recording. Toggle the “A” to the right again to stop. The voice recording hole is under the pen clip.

How to play voice recording:

Toggle the “A” selector button to the left and hold it until LED “C” comes on.

Toggle the “A” to the right to begin playing back of voice recording. Toggle the “A” to the right again to stop.

How to play MP3 files:

Toggle the “A” selector button to the left until LED “E” lights up, toggle the “A” to the right to play the MP3 files, the LED will be flashing. Toggle the “A” to the right again to stop.

How to select files:

During playing MP3/Voice, toggle “A” up

(Next) and down (Last) to select files.

How to control volume:

During playing MP3/Voice, toggle “A” up

(V+)/down (V-) and hold until desired volume is reached up/down: long push up to increase volume and long push down to decrease volume.

How to download MP3’s or files to/from the computer:

Plug the USB connector into the computer, select files on your computer to be downloaded to the device, right click to

“save as” or “drag and drop” to the drive letter of the device. To upload files from the device to the computer, right click on the file and “save as” or “drag and drop” to the desired location on the computer.

Notice:

 Before using the Media Pen, plug it into the USB port of a computer and charge the battery at least 2 hours or until the RED LED light turns off.

 No driver is needed if you run

Windows XP, Files play back via

Windows Media Player or

RealPlayer.

 Play back can be listened to via the earphones that are included or when connected to the

 computer via Windows Media

Player or RealPlayer.

This unit is equipped with automatic shut off if no buttons are pressed after 30 seconds the unit will power down and shut off.

How to reset and Power On/Off:

Switch off “F” once to reset the MP3 player if it’s frozen. And then to switch on, press down the switch “G” to restart the player. All files will not be removed.

How to recharge the battery:

Plug the USB connector to the computer and the

LED “B”

will be on. The battery should be charged until the

LED “B”

turns off, your unit will be fully charged.

Trouble shooting & Reformatting:

If the unit is not functioning properly, plug into the USB port to the computer and use the

Windows file manager to reformat.

Battery low:

Once the battery only left 30% capacity, the

LED “B” will start flashing.

Working time for reference:

With full charged battery:

 Continuing Voice Recording time: over 6 hours.

 Continuing MP3 Playing time: over 5 hours.

 This unit is equipped with electronic power off when you turn it off.
