FP400 Common Functions
1. Silence Buzzer
Press key <5> to stop panel’s internal buzzer from sounding continuously.
ATTENTION! Silencing buzzer does not turn buzzer off, it makes it buzz every 30 seconds for a period of 1 second approximately. In case of new fire / fault incident buzzer will start sounding continuously again.
2. Panel Reset
To reset the panel press keys <2-1-1-3> for the panel to enter supervisor mode where [Supervisor] indication is flashing, then press key <4>. Panel should exit any fire / fault condition, turn off alarm lines and reinitialize detectors on its zones.
ATTENTION!
There is no use on resetting the panel to stop the alarm lines when panel is in fire condition and the fire activation signal is still present
(broken call point glass or smoke remaining in the area). It is preferable to deactivate alarm lines, make sure that activation signal seas to exist and then reset.
3. Deactivation of Alarm Lines
To turn off activated alarm lines press keys <2-1-1-3> and then <2>. In case of a new fire detection incident the lines will be immediately reactivated.
4. Activation of Alarm Lines
Manual activation of alarm lines (regardless of panel condition) is done by pressing keys <2-1-1-3> and <2>.
5. Alarm Line Activation Delay Programming
It is possible to program FP400 with a delay, counting from the moment the panel enters {fire} condition to the moment the alarm lines are activated. In order to do so press keys <2-1-1-3> to enter supervisor condition. With
[Supervisor] indication flushing press and keep pressed key <5>. After a couple of seconds [Supervisor] indication should stop flashing while fault and fire indication from zones should become active successively (from no indication to
Zone 1 Fault, then to Z1 Fire, counting up to Zone 4 Fire, then cycle back to no indication etc). Each of these indications corresponds to a delay of approximately 15 seconds which adds up to the total delay being programmed.
When the number of indications becomes the desired one release key <5>.
Panel will reset.
