INTRODUCTION:  

This  is  the  monopod  with  a  built-­‐in  Bluetooth  controlled  shutter  function  for  smartphones.  The   max  length  of  monopod  can  be  extended  over  1  meter.  It  has  an  indentation  design  along  the   metal  rod  to  avoid  smartphones  turning  down  by  weight  or  sudden  movement.  It  is  best  used  for   travel  and  out-­‐door  use  in  taking  photos  or  recording  a  movie  clip  with  your  smartphone  or   digital  camera  by  yourself.  With  the  assistance  of  the  monopod,  you  can  capture  wider  angle   photos  due  to  its  length.

PAIRING  INSTRUCTIONS:  

2) Wait  about  10  seconds  and  the  blue  light  will  start  flashing,  indicating  that  the  device  is  in  

 

Bluetooth  pairing  status.  

 

 

4) Depending  on  your  smartphone,  you  may  have  to  turn  visibility  on  in  order  to  connect  to  the   monopod.  

5) Select  ‘iselfie’  in  order  to  pair  via  Bluetooth.  The  blue  flashing  light  indicator  will  stop  after  the   pairing  is  successful.    

6) Press  the  button  on  the  rod  to  take  a  photo  while  using  the  Camera  application  on  your   smartphone.    

Depending  on  your  smartphones  camera  application,  you  may  have  to  set  the  volume  buttons  on   your  smartphone  to  take  a  picture.  This  can  be  set  in  the  camera  settings  of  the  application.  An   example  of  where  to  look  is  in  the  pictures  below.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

   

 

The  reason  for  this  is  the  monopod,  presses  the  volume  up  button  and  takes  a  picture  in  order  to   make  it  compatible  across  different  smartphones.  

If  you  press  the  camera  button  on  the  monopod  for  3  seconds,  it  will  disable  the  Bluetooth  pairing.  

In  order  to  re-­‐pair  with  the  monopod,  you  will  have  turn  it  off  then  on  and  pair  your  smartphone   with  the  monopod  again  through  your  Bluetooth  settings.  

7) It  is  possible  that  the  first  time  pairing  with  the  monopod  may  not  be  successful.  Simply  turn  the   monopod  off  then  on  and  reconnect  through  the  smartphone  via  Bluetooth’s  settings.  If  you  are  still   having  pairing  issues,  please  restart  your  smartphone  and  try  again.  

8) If  you  would  like  to  use  the  monopod  again  once  it’s  switched  off,  you  may  have  to  re-­‐pair  the   smartphone  with  the  monopod  via  your  Bluetooth’s  settings.  

9) To  un-­‐pair  your  smartphone  from  the  monopod  to  allow  another  smartphone  to  connect  to  it,   please  un-­‐pair  the  monopod  (iselfie)  on  your  smartphone  in  the  Bluetooth  settings.    

10) Switch  off  the  monopod  by  switching  off  the  button  at  the  bottom  of  the  handle.    

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

SAFETY  CAUTIONS  AND  MAINTENANCE:   a) Do  not  charge  the  device  with  an  unsuitable  AC/DC  power  adaptor  as  it  may  be  dangerous.  The   device  must  be  charged  properly  by  USB  ports  or  by  AC/DC  adaptor  with  an  input  of

  b) If  you  notice  any  overheating,  strange  noises  or  another  strange  anomaly,  stop  using  the  monopod  

  and  switch  it  off  immediately.   c) Do  not  drop  the  monopod  on  the  floor/ground  as  it  can  become  damaged  and  broken.     d) Do  not  use  abrasive  cleaning  solvents  to  clean  the  monopod.    

  e) Do  not  place  the  device  in  the  hot  temperature  or  left  inside  a  car  under  direct  sunlight,  as  it  can  

  result  in  a  malfunction.     f) Do  not  expose  the  monopod  with  sharp  objects  as  it  will  scratch  and  damage  the  monopod.    

 

  g) Do  not  attempt  to  disassemble  the  monopod,  as  it  does  not  contain  serviceable  components.     h) If  you  do  not  use  the  monopod  for  a  long  period  of  time,  be  sure  to  store  it  in  a  dry  place,  free  from   extreme  temperature,  humidity  and  dust.

  a) Check  your  local  laws  regarding  use  or  carry  of  this  kind  of  device.  Different  states  may  have   different  regulations.   b) Avoid  use  while  driving  or  during  any  action  sports  as  it  may  disturb  your  attention,  and  cause  an   accident.   c) Never  allow  children  to  play  with  the  monopod.  Small  parts  may  be  a  choking  hazard.
