Mobile unit E 439/3 for surgical instruments
,Please read the Warning and Safety instructions in the Operating Instructions for your G 7836 and PG 8536 Washer-disinfector carefully. You should only process
instruments/medical products in this mobile unit if they have been declared as suitable for machine processing by the manufacturer. Please also observe the manufacturer's care instructions. The programme selected must be suitable for the materials from which the medical products to be processed are made. Where possible
the programme should include thermal disinfection. The final rinse should, if possible, always be carried out with fully de-mineralised water.
If using automatic mobile unit recognition please make sure that the coding is correctly set.

Mobile unit E 439/3 with four levels, H 503, W 536, D 518 mm, fitted
with a magnetic strip for automatic mobile unit recognition and spray
arm magnets for spray arm monitoring (PG 8536 only).
Mobile unit E 439/3 enables surgical instruments to be cleaned and disinfected in 7 DIN mesh
trays. The lower levels can take 2 DIN mesh trays each. The top level can take 1 mesh tray.

Before loading the machine and before starting a programme please check:
– that the spray arms rotate freely,
– that the spray arm jets are clean and free of any blockages,
– that the mobile unit is correctly fitted into the cabinet and that it has connected correctly with
the water intake.
For validation purposes please make sure that you follow the loading instructions given on
the template.
Access port for wash pressure measurements, e.g.
within context of performance testing and validation
in accordance with DIN ISO 15883.
^ To carry out wash pressure measurements, exchange
the screw stopper for a Luer lock adapter, e.g. E 447.
,Under no circumstances may the access port be
used to connect instruments, spray rails, etc.
You will feel a resistance when pushing
the mobile unit into the cabinet when it
is correctly connected to the water
intake.
If there is too much resistance you can
remove one to two spacers from the
water intake point.
^ Hinged instruments must be opened
up before being placed in the mesh
trays to minimise the risk of surfaces
not being accessed during
processing.
^ To prevent the risk of light
instruments such as bulldog clips
and other small items being moved
about during processing, silicone
holders e.g. E 473 and closable
inserts e.g. E 476 can be used to
keep them secure.
^ The holder for the magnet strip must
be opened out as shown in order to
push mesh trays into the lowest level.
DIN mesh trays have to be arranged
across the basket.
To do this:
^ Unscrew disc A from the water
intake point.
^ Remove spacer B.
^ Screw disc A back onto the water
intake point.
Containers must be placed such
that they do not hinder the
processing of instruments. They
must also be secure so that they
cannot be flipped over by the force
of water during processing.
^ The second level from the bottom is
removable to accommodate tall
items.
^ Containers, e.g. beakers and kidney
dishes should be placed in the
mobile unit with the open side facing
downwards.
^ Where applicable use an insert, e. g.
an E 492.

If hollow items are placed such that
cleaning solution can collect in
recesses etc. they will not get
properly clean and rinsing results
will be impaired.

Wagen E 439/3 voor OK-instrumentarium
,Houdt u zich aan de veiligheidsinstructies en waarschuwingen uit de gebruiksaanwijzing van de reinigings- en desinfectieautomaten G 7836 en PG 8536.
Behandel alleen instrumenten/medische producten die volgens de fabrikant van die producten geschikt zijn voor machinale behandeling. Houdt u zich aan de specifieke behandelingsvoorschriften van de fabrikant. Het te gebruiken programma, met bij voorkeur thermische desinfectie, moet indien nodig op het materiaal van de
medische producten worden afgestemd. Gebruik voor het laatste spoelen bij voorkeur gedemineraliseerd water.
Bij gebruik van de automatische wagenherkenning moet de codering worden aangepast!

Basiswagen E 439/3 met vier niveaus, H 503, B 536, D 518 mm, voorzien van een magneetstrip voor de automatische wagenherkenning en
sproeiarmmagneten voor de sproeiarmbewaking (alleen PG 8536).
In de wagen E 439/3 kunnen OK-instrumenten in 7 DIN-zeefschalen worden gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd. Op de onderste niveaus kunt u telkens twee DIN-zeefschalen plaatsen, op het
bovenste niveau één zeefschaal.
Het tweede niveau van onderen is uitneembaar.

Controleer bij het beladen/voor elke programmastart:
– of de sproeiarmen vrij kunnen draaien.
– of de openingen van de inspuiters van de sproeiarmen schoon/niet verstopt zijn.
– of de ingeschoven wagens goed op de watertoevoer van de reinigings-/desinfectieautomaat zijn aangesloten.
Houdt u zich aan het beladingsvoorschriften die in het kader van de validatie zijn vastgelegd.
Meetingang voor spoeldrukmetingen, bijvoorbeeld in
het kader van prestatiebeoordelingen en validaties volgens DIN EN ISO 15883
^ Bij spoeldrukmetingen moet u de sluitschroef door een
Luer-Lock-adapter (bijvoorbeeld E 447) vervangen.
,Op de meetingang mogen nooit instrumenten, inspuitbuizen, etc. worden aangesloten!
Als u een zekere weerstand voelt als u
de wagen in de reinigings- en desinfectieautomaat schuift, sluit de wagen
goed aan op de watertoevoer.
^ Scharnierende instrumenten moeten
geopend in de zeefschalen worden
geplaatst, zodat het afgedekte vlak
zo klein mogelijk is.
Als de weerstand erg groot is, kunt u
een of twee afstandsringen uit de watertoevoer verwijderen.
^ Lichte instrumenten, zoals bulldogklemmen en kleine voorwerpen die
gemakkelijk kunnen worden weggespoeld, kunt u in afsluitbare inzetten
plaatsen (o.a. E 473) of met siliconen
houders vastzetten (o.a. E 476).
^ Klap de houder voor de magneetstrip
omlaag om zeefschalen op het onderste niveau te kunnen plaatsen.
U kunt de DIN-zeefschalen alleen
dwars plaatsen.
Ga als volgt te werk:
^ Schroef element A van de watertoevoer.
^ Verwijder de afstandsring(en) B.
^ Schroef element A weer op de watertoevoer.
Deze voorwerpen mogen de reiniging van de instrumenten niet belemmeren. Voorkom dat de voorwerpen door de kracht van het water
worden omgedraaid.
^ Verwijder het tweede niveau als u
hoog spoelgoed wilt inruimen.
^ Ruim blikken, bekers, nierschalen,
etc. met de opening naar beneden
in.
^ Gebruik eventueel een inzet, bijvoorbeeld E 492.

Als holle voorwerpen met de opening naar boven worden ingeruimd,
kan spoelwater in de voorwerpen
achterblijven. Dit kan van invloed
zijn op het naspoelresultaat.
