Schritt 1:

Entfernen sie den Kühler samt Stromstecker vorsichtig. Sollte der Stromstecker hartnäckig klemmen, hilft eine Spitzzange. Klebt der Kühler auf der CPU, rotieren sie diesen leicht.

Step 1:

Remove both the existing cooler and plug carefully.

In some cases pliers may help to remove the plug.

If the cooler sticks to the CPU, rotate it slightly.

Schritt 2:

Um die Clips des Intel Boxed Kühlers zu lösen, drehen sie gemäss linkem Bild den Clipkopf mit einem Schlitzschraubendreher um 90° und ziehen dann den Clip nach oben.

Step 2:

To release the clips of the Intel Boxed cooler, rotate the head of the clip with a screwdriver by 90° and then pull the clip upwards as shown in the picture.

Schritt 3:

Die CPU muss sorgfältig gereinigt werden.

Pastenrückstände sind mit einem Taschentuch vorsichtig zu entfernen.

Step 3:

The CPU surface must be cleaned properly. Paste residue is to be removed with a paper tissue cautiously.

Schritt 4:

In einem Standard ATX Gehäuse soll der Freezer 7

Pro so ausgerichtet werden, dass er die warme Luft nach hinten bläst. Benützen sie dort einen

Gehäuseventilator um die warme Luft zu entfernen.

Kommt ein Silentium Gehäuse zum Einsatz, soll der

Freezer 7 Pro die warme Luft nach vorne blasen, da kühle Luft von hinten ins Gehäuse fliesst.

Step 4:

Align the Freezer in a standard ATX case in such a way that the fan blows the hot air to the back. Use there a case fan to remove the hot air. In case you are using our Silentium PC Case, the Freezer 7 Pro should blow the hot air to the front since the cool air is drawn in from the back.

Schritt 5:

Entfernen sie den Ventilator, indem sie den

Ventilatorrahmen wie auf dem Bild gezeigt nach aussen drücken.

Die vier Kunststoffclips müssen erst in die ursprüngliche Position gebracht werden, falls dies nicht schon der Fall ist. Dazu drehen sie den schwarzen Kunststoffkopft im Uhrzeigersinn.

Entfernen sie die Plastikkappe vom Boden des

Kühlers. Setzen sie nun den Kühler auf die CPU.

Schritt 6:

Nach Kontrolle des korrekten Sitzes der Clips drücken sie die schwarzen Clip-Köpfe soweit nach unten, bis diese einrasten. Machen sie die beiden sich diagonal gegenüberliegenden Clips miteinander fest.

Step 5:

Detach the fan by pressing the fan frame outwards as shown in the picture.

The four plastic fasteners must first be aligned back in their original position, if this is not the case, please turn the black plastic head clockwise.

Remove the plastic cap at the bottom of the cooler.

Place the cooler onto the CPU.

Step 6:

After checking the correct fit of the clip, press the black clip head downwards until this clicks into place. Fasten the diagonal opposite clips together.

Schritt 7:

Hängen sie erst den Lüfterhaken auf der einen Seite und dann auch auf der anderen Seite ein, um den

Ventilator wieder auf dem Kühlkörper zu befestigen.

Halten sie die Kabel im Computer vom Ventilator fern, indem sie diese mit Kabelbindern befestigen.

Step 7:

Align the fan in a way that the sticker is not upside down. Fix the fan hook on one side and attach the fan hook on the other side to mount the fan back to the cooler.

Keep all cables inside the computer case clear from the fan by fixing them with cable ties.

Schritt 8:

I nstallieren sie den Stromstecker auf dem entsprechenden Anschluss des Mainboards.

Step 8:

Attach the power plug onto the according power socket on the mainboard.

FAQ: Wie aktiviere ich die Temperatursteuerung des Ventilators

Alle unsere Sockel 775 Kühler verfügen gemäss Intel’s Spezifikation über einen PWM Kontroller

Chip im Motor (4 adriger Stromstecker). Dies erlaubt dem BIOS eine exakte Drehzahlkontrolle.

Wird die Ventilatordrehzahl nicht gemäss der CPU Belastung beziehungsweise der Temperatur gesteuert, gehen sie ins BIOS. Die meisten Sockel 775 Mainboards offerieren eine CPU

Zieltemperatur. Setzen sie diese bei 65°C fest, was heisst, dass das BIOS die CPU um die 65°C hält und dem entsprechend die Lüftergeschwindigkeit soweit wie möglich reduziert.

Begrenzungen der Garantie

Die Garantie gilt, ausschliesslich folgender Gegebenheiten

- Ein fehlerhaftes Produkt, das zu Schäden bei anderen Produkten führt

- Beschädigung des Produktes resultierend aus anderen Produktkomponenten

- Fehlerhafte Bedienung oder zweckfremde Benutzung

- Verwendung jenseits der empfohlenen Standards (z.B. Overclocking)

- Allfällige Änderungen des Originalproduktes

- Unfähigkeit das Produkt zu installieren resultierend aus Unverträglichkeit mit anderen

FAQ: How do I activate the Temperature Control of the Fan

All of our socket 775 coolers come with a PWM controller chip in the motor (4 pin connector) according to Intel’s specification. This allows the BIOS to control the Fan precisely.

In case the fan speed is not regulated according to the CPU load respectively temperature, enter the BIOS. Most socket 775 Mainboards offer a CPU target temperature. Set it to 65°C, what means that the BIOS tries to keep the CPU around 65°C and thus lowers the fan speed as much as possible.

Limits of Warranty

Warranty coverage does not include the following:

- A faulty product that leads to harm or damage to other products

- Damage of product as a result of other product components

- Incorrect method of operation or use of product not for intended use

- Operational use beyond the advised standards (i.e. overclocking)

- Any form of alteration to original product

- Inability to install the product as a result of incompatibility with other components
