SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
For safe operation, be sure to observe following precautions.
Installation:
Do not install the Rewinder in a humid, dusty area, or near an air conditioner.
Install Rewinder on a level surface and leave enough space in the rear to guide laminated objects out the exit.
Do not put anything on top of the Rewinder.
Be certain that the power source connects to a dedicated and grounded AC120V 60 Hz outlet. Do not share the electrical
outlet with other devices.
Use in a well ventilated room.
Laminating film:
While genuine FUJIPLA "CP Roll" is recommended any quality 1.5 or 3 mil laminating film may be used. Contact your
dealer.
Laminating objects:
Lamination is made by heat and pressure. Inappropriate operation may cause failure in quality of lamination or in
jamming of film. Avoid lamination of the following:
Inflammable substances or any substance susceptible to heat (e.g. vinyl chloride, polyethylene, etc.)
Valuable items which are unique and not replaceable. Do not laminate money.
Lamination items which exceed 35mil. In total thickness.
Objects which change color or quality with heat (e.g. thermal paper, pictures drawn with crayon etc.)
Operation:
Operate the Rewinder only for lamination of paper items.
Do not leave the Rewinder during operation.
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority
to operate the equipment.

3. FILM SETTING
1) Insert the mandrels into both the roll film (for
cold lamination) and Carrier Film rolls. The
direction of the pawls (1) of the mandrel should
be opposite of film rotation (2). This allows the
pawls to lock into the roll to prevent slippage.
NOTE: The Carrier Film being utilized should be
wider than the lamination film.
2) Attach the mandrels/film rolls to the
laminators. Refer to the Instruction Manual for
the LPP6512/1112 for details.
3) Set the roll film on the laminator. Turn on the
ON/OFF switch. Set the roll film while the laminator is cold (room temperature).
3-1 Pull out the end of the upper roll film (1) and
pass through under Guide Roll (2) (fig. 2)
3-2 Peel off the end of upper roll film (1) and pass
the release paper (5) between Guide Roll (2) and
pass it over the Winding Mandrel (3). (fig. 3)
