KEY TECHNICAL FEATURES
BUILT-IN INK FIXATION
Direct sublimation transfer printing requires the fixing of printed inks onto polyester using a heat process. The Tx500P-3200DS features an inbuilt fixation device, linked directly to the printer. Once the fixation device reaches the optimum temperature, the printer starts printing allowing the two components to operate together.

STABLE TEXTILE TRANSPORTATION
AMF* 1 and VTTS* 2 are installed in the feed and take-up units to ensure the stable transport of the rolled media (3.2m max width /
130kg max weight) and minimise textile shrinkage after heating.
Additionally, a pulling roller smooths polyester fabrics which have a tendency to wrinkle. These features maintain the required tension throughout the printing process to deliver beautiful results.
* 1 The AMF applies an appropriate tension to the textile through a tension bar.
* 2 By pulling media down vertically, feeding errors are reduced and print stability increased.

Depending on media type, the print speed and colouring conditions may vary. Before purchasing this product, we highly recommend conducting preliminary tests according to each customer’s individual situation.
CONTINUOUS UNINTERRUPTED PRINTING FEATURES
Nozzle Recovery Function
In the event of a nozzle malfunction not being repairable by the use of the maintenance function, printing can continue by the use of another nozzle, without any loss of productivity or a reduction in image quality.
Large Ink Supply Unit
External ink supply unit with refillable 3L ink containers. A degassing module on the printhead carriage enables affordable undegassed inks to be used.
If ink is not being ejected, the light passes through.

MIMAKI ADVANCED PASS SYSTEM (MAPS)
MAPS is Mimaki’s unique anti-banding feature.
To prevent banding, swath boundaries are overprinted and boundaries prone to banding are printed with fewer ink droplets.
In addition, Mimaki’s unique waveform control technology achieves precise placement of ink droplets onto material without losing droplet circularity, enabling sharp edges, characters and lines to be accurately printed.
