Release agent MevaTrenn FT 8
Technical Manual / Safety Data Sheet
Description
MevaTrenn FT 8 is a chemical-physical reacting release
agent which is suited for absorbing and non-absorbing
facings such as plywood,
coated plywood, steel etc. It
is especially good for formwork with alkus-sheets.
Area of application
¢ Up to 100° C (temperature
of formwork).
¢ If applied properly the
adhesion of plaster, bonding
agent and paint will not be
affected.
¢ All-purpose.
¢ Prevents formation of
pores as far as possible.
¢ Suited for fair-faced
concrete.
¢ Provides clean and even
surfaces.
¢ The created film avoids
rust on steel faced formwork.
¢ Can be used as protective
coating for concrete mixers
and other machines.
¢ MevaTrenn FT8 protects
wood against mould and
avoids rotting.
Product information
Notes on working
¢ Apply the release agent
evenly in a thin layer on the
dry and clean formwork by
using a brush or a sprayer.
¢ Consumption: approx. 1 l
for 50 – 90 m² of non-absorbing facing.
¢ Frost-resistant up to
-5° C. If the product thickens
under extreme cold temperatures it will regain the normal
condition as soon as heat is
added.
¢ Whenever using the product a test is recommended
since the different conditions
(local- and material-wise) can
influence the result on the
concrete surface.
¢ MevaTrenn FT8 must not
be thinned down with water,
oil or solvents.
Classification
MevaTrenn FT8 is classified
and labelled according to EC
directives / German regulations on dangerous substances (Xn: Harmful). Classification according to VbF: All.
Water hazard class: WGK
1. According to the OECDscreening test the biological
degradability is good.
Storing
¢ Storing should not extend
one year.
¢ Close container properly
after use.
Content
30 litres
Ref.-No.
29-203-93
Safety
¢ Keep away from sources of
ignition – do not smoke.
¢ Do not inhale spray.
¢ Avoid skin and eye contact.
¢ Soaked clothes should be
changed as soon as possible.
