outdated. A car represents individuals’ lifestyles, and it became an integral part of their lives. At the same time, the automobile industry has experienced
seismic change. Hyundai Motor Company has grown rapidly to become one of the largest automakers, backed by world class production capability and
superior quality. We have now reached a point where we need a qualitative approach to bring bigger ideas and relevant solutions to our customers.
This is an opportunity to move forward and we have developed a new brand slogan that encapsulates our willingness to take a big leap. Led by our new
slogan and the new thinking underlying it, we will become a company that keeps challenging itself to unlock new possibilities for people and the planet.

EVERY MOMENT WITH SANTA FE
Time and opportunities are given to everyone. The difference in happiness comes from whether we “seize” or “miss”
the values, both big and small, that every moment of our everyday lives has to offer. Storm Edge—the concept behind
the design of Santa Fe, which captured the powerful yet fragile moment of nature in motion during the rise and fall of
a storm. It seems to be telling us that the brilliant moments that we should not miss are, in fact, right before our eyes.
HIGHER LEVEL OF COMFORT
It no longer makes sense to expect different levels of comfort between sedans and SUVs. A design that features an ergonomic interior
layout, sports luxurious quality seats, and ensures a quiet and smooth ride; state-of-the-art convenience features that offer the highest
level of comfort; and the versatility of space that only an SUV can provide—Santa Fe has become even more comfortable, making traveling
a new favorite pastime and reminding us without words how precious the moments we spend with our family are.
The inner space as well as the size and layout of the seats of Santa Fe have been
optimized to make it practical for any situation, whether it is for leisure or business.
In particular, the rear seats can be divided into a 4:2:4 ratio, leaving enough seating
room all the while allowing long loads like skis. From business to daily family life with
children, Santa Fe offers seat variations that are easy to manipulate and extremely
versatile, making life even fuller.

A dedicated switch embedded in the steering wheel is easy to operate
and can be switched while driving or when the vehicle is still.
A NEW WORLD OF PERFORMANCE
* Fuel economy figures are based on EU-2 standards.
The reason why engine performance should be incessantly upgraded is not just to gain explosive power, speedy response, and minimum vibration
and noise. What is even more important is to minimize fuel consumption and harmful emissions. Santa Fe’s 2.4 MPi gasoline engine, 3.3 V6
MPi gasoline engine, and 2.2 CRDi diesel engine let drivers experience an engine performance that is one step ahead of others. Flawless
safety measures, from design up to the mounting of the latest high-tech equipments, also instill a sense of trust never experienced before.

Down-hill brake control (DBC)
Electronic stability control (ESC) with 4-wheel drive assistance control
Electronic stability control (ESC) with 4-wheel drive assistance control are functions that minimize the risk of running off course in the event of entering a curve at high
speeds. 4-wheel drive assistance control distributes traction to the rear wheels while Electronic stability control (ESC) exerts braking in the inner rear wheel to help control
the vehicle in advance, at a stage before conventional Electronic stability control (ESC) systems would have been activated. They deliver more stable driving performance
by helping drivers control their vehicle at will and improving driving agility.
