Coffee:
Coffee is one of the world's most popular beverages, which is also the most widely
consumed liquid in the world after water.
Arabica and Robusta are the two main species of coffee grown in the world. Arabica is
the most popular variety and generally believed to give you a superior flavour
compared to Robusta. The general differences are those of taste, the conditions under
which the two species grow and the economic differences.
Arabica:
Arabica has descended from the original coffee trees discovered in Ethiopia. These
trees produce a fine, mild, aromatic coffee and represent a majority percentage of the
world's coffee production.
Robusta:
Robusta is grown in Central and Western Africa, parts of Southeast Asia, including
Indonesia, Vietnam, and in Brazil. It accounts for the balance percentage of the world’s
production after Arabica.
Compared to Arabica, Robusta beans produce a coffee which has a distinctive taste
and contains about 50-60% more caffeine. Robusta is primarily used in blends and
instant coffees.
Chicory:
Chicory is the name of a coffee substitute derived from the roasted root of the chicory
plant. It is commonly used as an additive to roasted coffee and historically as a
replacement for coffee.

How to make Coffee using Kicoff Coffee Pods:
Using Kicoff coffee pods is a simple process using the Coffee making Machines/ Pod
Brewer. Kicoff Coffee Pods offer a quick and hassle free Espresso Coffee dripping
through the spout of the Coffee Machine by the press of a button.
1. Remove and discard the individually wrapped foil package of the Kicoff coffee
pods.
2. Place the Kicoff Coffee Pod by lifting the handle provided in the brewing circular
chamber. Now lower the handle again to close the lid.
3. Open the lid of the water container and pour in enough water to brew the coffee
and close the lid. If there is a "maximum fill" line marked on the container’s side, do not
exceed this level.
4. Place your coffee cup underneath the brew head, and press the "brew" button to
begin brewing the Kicoff Coffee. After the water is heated, it will be passed through the
coffee grounds in the pod and into your cup.
5. The Kicoff Coffee decoction taken can be 15 ml or 30 ml depending upon the
quantity of Coffee one wants to brew. The Coffee Pod is for a single brew and has to
be discarded after use. Lift the handle, pick up the used pod and discard it in the
dustbin.
6. Both the Coffee Pod sachet and the coffee grounds inside are biodegradable, so
that it can be disposed with normal kitchen waste.
7. The espresso can be consumed directly or add to it steamed hot milk or frothed milk
to make a Cappuccino coffee.
8. Add sugar to taste. The same process can be applied while using the Kicoff Tea Pods
to make premium tea.
