OTTAWA BUFFET
Setting the pace for style and quality, the Round Oak
Ottawa ranges are outstanding in every detail. Picture one
of these beautiful ranges in your kitchen, realise that here
is practical cooking convenience with coal and wood. The
Ottawa in white porcelain finish has countless new features
such as reversible, non-tilt oven racks—positive oven door
spring mechanism—all porcelain oven of Armco steel with
extra heavy ten gauge oven bottom—cabinet base—rear
direct draft—streamlined high shelf, high closet or low fender—and with a new fuel economy not encountered in older
ranges. ,
This range in use insures better cooked and baked foods
with a minimum amount of effort, a range you will be proud
of and will enjoy in your kitchen.
Ottawa Buffet firebox, oven top construction. One piece, cast iron, porcelain cooking top frame.
DURABLE HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION
Ottawa cooking top frame is one-piece heavycast iron, porcelain finished. Frame is notched
and grooved for hot plates, and to allow for
contraction and expansion by heat. Cooking
top is flush with front. Sides are formed to provide lifting space. Firebox is heavy ribbed cast
iron interchangeable sections eguipped with
duplex grates or refractory linings, hard coal
grates optional. Roomy cast iron wood extension with front feed—reversible fire front facilitates installation of water coil. Porcelain
oven top is further protected by a broad cast
iron equalizer plate which also distributes heat
evenly over the entire oven top. Oven front
flue-ways are fully protected with a set of four
heavy castings. Flues are so constructed for
even distribution of heat thruout the oven. Draft
is controlled by rear damper which may be
accurately adjusted for any speed of fire. Illustration at left also shows Ottawa low fender.
OTTAWA GAS HOT PLATE
For summer operation of cooking
top use the auxiliary two burner
plate. Plate is complete with multispeed burners, latest type grids
and Reflecto bowls. A porcelain
drip tray is below the burners. Hot
plate replaces reservoir when installed — available f o r natural,
manufactured or bottled gas.
OTTAWA ELECTRIC HOT PLATE
OTTAWA WITH HIGH CLOSET
Round Oak TK spiral surface units
cook as fast as food will cook, and
are so wired that any 110 volt alternating current will serve. Units
are controlled by 3-speed switches.
Below the units is a handy porcelain drip tray.
Streamlined for modern appearance, designed for convenience the Ottawa high closet is roomy to accommodate a
number of utensils and may be used as a warming oven
or space to keep extra kitchen supplies. Cabinet is finished
in gleaming white porcelain with convenient single braced
door. High closet is ruggedly supported by supports in rear.
When condiments and timer are ordered with the Ottawa
high closet they are placed in the attractive white porcelain bracket on the top surface of the high closet. Completely closed closet also provides warming space.
Electric cookery is versatile, handy
and an efficient method of cooking.
HIGH SHELF ACCESSORIES
Accessories a r e designed
for hard usage—condiments
and timer are of heat resisting porcelain. R e t a i n e r
bracket is solidly constructed of cast iron with glistening white porcelain finish.
Light is white with chromium trim, and is constructed
to direct light over entire
cook top.
LOW FENDER
ACCESSORIES
For low fender the porcelain condiments, timer and
bracket, white and chrome
light fixture are supported
by two r i g i d chromium
tubes. You will find these
accessories on your range
very useful.
OTTAWA SQUARE
The Ottawa Square is similar to the
Ottawa Buffet in construction and is
equipped with all of the quality features of this fine line. The Square
does not have the reservoir; however a cast water front or pipe coil
may be installed for a generous
supply of hot water.
The Square is ideal for the smaller
kitchen or for the home where a
compact kitchen p l a n is desired.
Heating capacity of the Square is
sufficient for larger kitchens.
Ottawa Square is available with a
choice of four cooking top arrangements—one, two, three or four griddles.

Ottawa Square—No. 104-S
OTTAWA SQUARE
Ottawa Square embodies Round Oak oven
construction which produces excellent baking
results with a minimum amount of fuel. The
oven is heavily constructed of ARMCO steel,
porcelain both inside and out for thorough
protection against corrosion. Oven sides are
embossed to form oven rack slides. Oven bottom is of heavy ten gauge steel for permanence. Flue ways for combustion gases are
accurately designed for even distribution of
heat, and are protected by a set of four cast
iron protection plates. The Ottawa Square is
available with low fender as illustrated at the
right. This arrangement makes a very attractive one for the modern kitchen. Illustrated at
far right, bottom, is the exclusive Round Oak
Oven Door mechanism. This provides a tightly
closing oven door—door is heavily insulated.
CAST WATER FRONT
For a generous supply of piping hot water install
the cast water front in the firebox of the Ottawa
Square or Buffet.
BLACK PIPE OR BRASS COIL
Coil for hot water may be installed by reversing
fire front lining—connect to range boiler or tank.
Hot water output is sufficient for domestic purposes.
