Attention — Before Installation
1. Inspect this product to assure you have all parts as shown that are required for proper installation (refer to
illustration 1).
2. The valve cartridge has been factory tested and adjusted – DO NOT TAKE THE CARTRIDGE APART. Taking the
cartridge apart will void the warranty.
3. The valve body rough in depth is 15⁄8” - 21⁄8” (40-55mm) measured from the center of the inlets to the face of the
finished wall.
4. E
nsure that both hot and cold water feeds are properly connected and to the correct side of the rough in valve
as illustrated.
5. This product must be installed by a professional contractor.
6. Refer to the specification and assembly drawings attached for installation directions.
7. Flow Pressure – Min. 25 PSI, Max. 80 PSI. Recommended pressure – 50 to 60 PSI
Installation Requirements
Please read the instructions carefully so as to avoid any damage to the fixture.
1. To ensure this product is installed properly, you must read and follow these guidelines.
2. The owner/user of the faucet must keep this information for future reference.
3. This faucet must be on-site prior to rough-in, allowing the installer to visualize the installation and to match the
8” center spread.
4. Be sure your installation conforms to local codes.
5. Refer to the specification and assembly drawings attached. Faucet is sold partially assembled but shown fully
disassembled for illustrative and service purposes only.
6. Check countertop and sink measurement to assure the spout projects far enough into the sink.
7. Inspect this product to assure you have all parts required for proper installation.
8. Use only a strap wrench or protected/smooth-jaw wrench on any finished surface.
9. Do NOT use putty during this installation.
Cleaners for fittings and accessories
To avoid damaging the surface and working components of the fittings, certain precautions must be taken in terms
of usage and subsequent cleaning as many cleaning agents contain acids for general cleaning and removing
calcium deposits. When caring for your fittings and accessories, please note the following:
- Only apply cleaners which are expressly intended for the use
- Never use any cleaner containing hydrochloric acid, formic acid or acetic acid on or near the fitting, as they can
cause considerable damage even with just one application
- Do not use cleaners containing phosphoric acid
- Do not use cleaners containing chlorine bleach solutions
- Never mix or combine cleaning agents
- Abrasive cleaners and unsuitable scouring agents such as scouring pads

Rough In Installation
TSP210 (Refer to illustration 1)
TSP220 + TSA210 (Refer to illustration 2)
TSU210 (Refer to illustration 3)
Note: Rough-in depth for these products are provided on the protective mud guards.
1. Run 1⁄2" (12.5mm) hot and cold supply lines. The spread between supplies is 8" for TSP220, TSA210 and TSU210
on center and is NOT adjustable.
2. Install a 1⁄2” (12.5mm) sweat x 1⁄2” (12.5mm) female IPS adapter onto each supply line.
3. Verify the supplies are secure, level, at the proper spread and equal depths.
4. Connect the rough-in to the water system, hot water connected on the left and cold water connected on
the right.
5. Align and level the faucet rough-in and secure the faucet rough-in into the wall.
6. Verify the supplies and faucet body are secure, then turn on the supplies and check for leaks.

Handle Installation
(Refer to illustration 2)
7. Remove the rough-in protection covers from the rough-in assembly
8. Place both escutcheon rings over the cartridge housings until they press up against the wall.
9. Screw both control handles onto the designated connections on the rough-in assembly until tight.
10. Place the spout escutcheon ring over the spout connection of the rough-in assembly so that it presses up
against the wall. The spout will keep this piece in place.
11. Wrap the threaded end of the spout with Teflon tape and the screw the spout into place onto the rough-in, so
that goes through the escutcheon ring and secure by hand into rough-in.
12. If desired, a bead of caulk or silicone may be applied where the escutcheon contacts the wall.

14. Attach the escutcheon ring onto the wall around the hole for the spout connection.
15. Then
screw the spout onto the spout connection of the rough-in assembly until tight.

16. Place an o-ring onto the back of each of the control handles so that the ring o-ring sits between the handle and
the wall.

17. Place the control handles onto the cartridge extensions so that the levers are horizontal and then tighten the
set screw to keep it in place.
Inspect the Installation
18. Remove the flow restrictor assembly from the spout using the tool provided. Carefully open the hot and cold
valves to flush out any debris in the supply lines.
19. Inspect all connections for leaks. Reinstall the flow restrictor assembly.

Limited Ceramics Residential Warranty
Blu Bathworks (“Blu”) ceramic products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in all material and workmanship
during normal residential use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Blu will, at its election, repair, provide a
replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this warranty.
Limited blu•stone™ Residential Warranty
Blu Bathworks (“Blu”) blu·stone products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in all material and
workmanship during normal residential use for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Blu will, at its election, repair,
provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this warranty.
Blu Bathworks does not recommend exceeding US/Canada maximum hot water temperature regulations of 120°F/50°C, respectively.
Exceeding stated temperatures could result in damage to blu.stone basins and bathtubs.
Limited Acrylic Bathtubs Residential Warranty
Blu Bathworks (“Blu”) acrylic bathtubs are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in all material and workmanship
during normal residential use for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase. Blu will, at its election, repair, provide a
replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this warranty.
Limited Tapware Residential Warranty
Blu Bathworks (“Blu”) tapware products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in all mechanical parts and
polished chrome finishes during normal residential use for as long as the original purchaser owns his or her home. Blu will, at its
election, repair, provide a replacement part or product, or make appropriate adjustment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth
in this warranty.
Limited Commercial Warranty
Blu Bathworks (“Blu”) products are warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in all material and workmanship during
normal usage for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. Blu will, at its election, repair, provide a replacement part or
product, or make appropriate adjustment, subject to the terms and conditions set forth in this warranty..
Warranty Terms and Conditions
• This warranty applies only to Blu Bathworks products distributed in North America.
• This warranty is non-transferable and is for the exclusive benefit of the original purchaser of a Blu product. This warranty may be
exercised by the original purchaser of a unit in a new residential development. Blu recommends using a professional plumber for all
installation and repair. This warranty does not apply to products that have been installed in any manner other than as set out in Blu’s
printed instructions, or to products that have been altered in any way.
• For further clarity, the above stated warranty does not cover or apply to damage attributable to:
1. Neglect, misuse, abuse, accident or negligence;
2. Normal wear and tear;
3. Proximity to salt water, dirt or lime scale, the use plumbers’ putty or inappropriate cleaners (such as those containing
abrasives, ammonia, acids, waxes, bleaches, solvents, alcohol, or any product not recommended for chrome); and
4. Damage caused by transportation, or improper storage.
• This is the only warranty of Blu, which makes no other warranty of any kind. Blu disclaims any liability for charges due to installation,
removal, shipping, or any special, incidental or consequential damages whatsoever. In no event shall the liability of Blu under this
warranty exceed the purchase price of the product.
Procedure for Warranty Service
Refer to blubathworks.com for policy and procedures relating to requests for service under the terms of this warranty. Original proof
of purchase is required. Blu is not responsible for removal or installation costs, or the costs of shipping and handling associated with
any service. Repaired or replaced products or parts are warranted only for the period remaining under the initial warranty.
