Reference: BM010 Issue: 1.1 Specifica on code Page 1 of 2 Date: 11/12/2017 The Specifica on code explained The specifica on code is used to define the water heaters details . The Part No for the water heater will not change, the specifica on code should be added to the product descrip on on the purchase order to clarify the customers requirements. Example purchase order: ‐ Quan ty Supplier Part No Product Descrip on Date Required Unit Price Ext Price 4 90‐106/10 24vdc, 2 litre water heater Spec code ‐ 106/10/C/0011/R/1/C 01/01/2020 £ £ Example specifica on code: ‐ 106/10/C/0011/R/1/C Explana on of water heater Specifica on code ‐ 24vdc, 2 litre, 30A, 700W water heater, no ‘FP’, no ‘VS’, yes ’AS’, yes ‘PH’, painted red, fi ed with a tap cover & fi ed with conversion brackets Specifica on code : ‐ _____ /x/xxxx/x/x/x odel M 105/10 (12vdc, 2 litre) ‐ 106/10 105/15 106/15 105/20 106/20 (24vdc, 2 litre) ‐ (12vdc, 3 litre) ‐ (24vdc, 3 litre) ‐ (12vdc, 4 litre) ‐ (24vdc, 4 litre) ‐ Frost Protec on Mode ‐ FP 0 (DISABLED) 1 (ACTIVE) ower PA (30A ‐ 350W, 12vdc only) Part No: ‐ 90‐105/10 Part No: ‐ 90‐106/10 Part No: ‐ 90‐105/15 Part No: ‐ 90‐106/15 Part No: ‐ 90‐105/20 Part No: ‐ 90‐106/20 If ac ve, FP mode will work when the water heater is both off and on. FP mode will only work if the supply voltage is above 12.5vdc (12vdc model) or 24.4vdc (24vdc model) When the temperature of the water is below 30C then FP mode ini ates. This pulses a small amount of the current to the element, stopping the water from freezing. When the temperature of the water is above 30C the FP mode terminates. B (60A ‐ 700W, 12vdc only) C (30A ‐ 700W, 24vdc only) Voltage Sensing Mode ‐ VS Alternator Sensing Mode ‐ AS 0 (DISABLED) 1 (ACTIVE) VS mode will only work when the water heater is switched on. VS mode will only allow the water heater to work when the supply voltage is above 12.5vdc (12vdc model) or 24.4vdc (24vdc model). If the supply voltage is below 12.5vdc (12vdc model) or 24.4vdc (24vdc model) then the water heater will not work un l the supply voltage has increased to 12.5vdc (12vdc model) or 24.4vdc (24vdc model). *This mode is recommended for standard ba ery protec on* Colour Tap cover Brackets R (Red) W (White) G (Grey) B (Blue) 0 (No tap cover) 1 (Tap cover fi ed) N (Standard fixing brackets) 0 (DISABLED) 1 (ACTIVE) Press To Heat Mode ‐ PH 0 (DISABLED) 1 (ACTIVE) If both VS mode & AS mode are switched on then AS mode will over‐ride VS mode. AS mode will only allow the water heater to work when the supply voltage is above 13.2vdc (12vdc model) or 24.8vdc (24vdc model). If the supply voltage is below 13.2vdc (12vdc model) or 24.8vdc (24vdc model) the water heater will not work un l the supply voltage has increased to 13.2vdc (12vdc model) or 24.8vdc (24vdc model). PH mode ac vates ‘once only’ hea ng cycles. Once the water heater has reached 930C, the green Ready LED will illuminate. The green Ready LED will con nue stay on as the water heater cools by 50C. When the water tempera‐ ture has reached 880C the water heater will switch itself off. *If all feature modes are disa‐ bled then the water heater will heat to 930C, then keep the water at that tempera‐ ture. To ac vate another heat cycle the user will have to turn the water heater on again. *This mode is recommended if the water heater is connected directly to the vehicles main ba ery* The Master of this document is held on the server.
