Why is the steam boost not working? Why is the spray burst not working? Water is leaking from the iron. Why is the heater indicator light flashing? Getting in touch Solution • The plug may not be fully pushed into the electrical socket. • Check the fuse in the plug if this needs replacing, always use a British 13amp fuse. • There may be no water in water tank, fill the water tank. • The temperature control dial or steam control has not been set to the appropriate settings. Go to ‘Getting started’. • The iron has a build up of limescale, Go to ‘Cleaning and maintenance’. • The steam boost button has been pressed too often within a short period. Continue ironing in a horizontal position, after a short period of time use the boost button again. • The temperature control dial has not been set at a temperature the steam boost function can be used ( to Max). Stand the iron in the upright position, adjust the control dial and wait for the heating indicator light to go out before using the steam boost. • The water tank is not full enough. Unplug the iron from the mains and add water to the water tank. • The water fill cover is not correctly closed. Close the water fill cover. • The steam boost button has been pressed with the control dial set at the incorrect temperature. The steam boost function can be used ( to Max). • Excessive use of the steam burst button can reduce the temperature of the soleplate temporarily meaning that it will need to heat up again. If this happens the water may potentially pool in the ‘boiler’. • The automatic shut off mode has been activated. Gently shake the iron to re-use, the heater indicator light will illuminate red when heating up, the light will turn green when temperature has been reached and ready to use. † Registration required.
