The Westhill Country Hotel has been owned and run by the Smale family for over forty years. Set
in 5 acres of stunning landscaped gardens makes it the ideal location for your Wedding Day.
Your Wedding
‘The Garden Room’ Overlooking the Swimming Pool & Gardens an elegant wood-panelled room
with plenty of natural light, seats 65 guests comfortably and, as it’s name suggests, offers an
attractive location in which to tie the knot. Please contact the Registrar on Tel: 01534 441335,

Once you have made your vows you can spill out into the gardens, which provide the perfect
backdrop for, photographs while the rest of your guests enjoy pre-breakfast drinks.
Your Reception
‘The Twilight Room’ This exquisitely decorated room is suitable for dining partiers of up to 90
people. The room is completely private with it’s own bar.
The Evening Party
If you would like to continue your celebrations into the evening you can do so in Twilight Room.
This has a large dance floor for entertainment and should you wish, we can provide our very own
DJ.
The Personal Touch
We believe that every wedding is as individual as you. Our role is to provide you with the setting,
good food and wines, and very friendly personal service. From the very first time we meet to the
end of your big day, Jonathan your wedding co-ordinator will handle every detail personally so
that you have a very special occasion.
Flowers/Photography
Flowers and photographs are a key part of any wedding. We can put you in touch with our
regular talented florist & photographer, or you can use your own.
We have enclosed our Wedding menus for your consideration. The dishes have been specifically
selected by Chef to illustrate the exciting variety of food available to you for your Wedding
breakfast. If you have ideas or preferences of your own, we are more than happy to tailor the
menus to incorporate them.

Recommendations for those considering a
Wedding at the Westhilll Country Hotel
For a Wedding Ceremony
If you wish to hold your ceremony in our Garden room please arrange your service time no later
than noon, as to allow time for photographs, pre-breakfast drinks and have you sitting down in
The Twilight room for 1.15 – 1.30pm.
The Evening Party
We ask that you vacate the Twilight room by 5.30pm for one hour. This is to allow us time to
prepare for the evening party. You and your guests are welcome to relax in the gardens during this
time.
Booking Information
We will be pleased to make a provisional booking for you by telephone. We can provisionally hold
your required date for two weeks, after which we will require a non-refundable deposit of
£500.00. Accompanied with a letter of confirmation in order to secure your booking.
We request that you notify us of final numbers at least seven days before the Wedding, when a
pro-forma invoice will be prepared and forwarded to you. We request that this is settled prior to
the day.
Any extra charges incurred on the day should be settled prior to departure from the Hotel.
As an alternative, we are happy to accept the deposits by credit card and with your authorization,
we will charge the final balance to your account on the day.
