The dedicated application is called “Denon Audio”.
The iPod touch® and iPhone versions can be downloaded
from the App StoreSM. The Android™ cell phone version can
be downloaded from Google Play™.

Using this unit
•These headphones are supplied with ear tips of different materials and
sizes. Each of the ear tips has a different feel when worn. Please choose
the ear tips that best suit your ears.
•The left headphone has a bump. Fit the headphone with the bump into
your left ear.

•Insert the headphones so the ear tips fit snugly in your ear. If the ear tips do not
fit snugly, bass may sound weak or sound may be unbalanced between the left
and right sides.
•Fit the ear tips securely on the nozzle of the headphones.
•The ear tips may deteriorate after extended use or storage.

Using the remote control
When these headphones are connected to a compatible device, the remote control can be used to playback and pause music and conduct phone calls.

correctly depending on the connected device.

Using the adapter
Select smartphones do not use a standard audio jack configuration. If these headphones are connected to a smartphone that is not compatible with the
mini plug on the headphones, the following issues may occur:
•Sound is not heard correctly when playing back music or talking on the telephone. Or, sound cannot be heard.
•The remote control does not function.
•The other person on the call cannot hear your voice.
In these cases, using the supplied adapter to connect to the smartphone as shown in the following figure device may fix the problem.

Troubleshooting
If this unit does not operate properly, check the items listed in the table below. Should the problem persist, there may be a malfunction.
In this case, disconnect the power immediately and contact your store of purchase.

Bad sound quality. Or, sound cannot
be heard from one side.
Symptom
•Check that the headphone cable is correctly connected to the headphones jack of the playback
device.
•Use the supplied adapter to connect the headphones.
•Check that the ear tips fit snugly in your ear. If the current ear tips do not fit correctly in your
ear, replace the ear tips.

Microphone does not function.
•Check that the headphone cable is correctly connected to the headphones jack of the playback
device.
•Check that the microphone hole on the back of the remote control is not covered.
•Use the supplied adapter to connect the headphones.
•The microphone may not function correctly depending on the type of smartphone.
The smartphone does not respond to
remote control operations.
•Check that the headphone cable is correctly connected to the headphones jack of the playback
device.
•Use the supplied adapter to connect the headphones.
•Operations that can be performed with the remote control may differ depending on the type
of smartphone.
