with the compact testo 300-x
Practical and accurate
Quick flue gas checks are of interest to all industrial burners.
Correct adjustment of the burner saves money, protects the
environment and guarantees optimum production conditions. A
practical, user-friendly analyser which can be used at different
points is ideal for analysing flue gas.
The new testo 300 M-I/XL-I flue gas analyser combines the
accuracy and efficiency of the large measuring systems with
easy operation and low purchasing and maintenance costs.
It is the ideal partner for adjusting burners, emission
checks and checking the atmosphere in the production
process.

Setting the burner
testo 300-I calculates the air ratio and efficiency to efficiently
adjust the burner. The pressure in the combustion chamber is
measured parallel to the flue gas values. This is particularly
important for multistage burners. Long-term measurements
lasting several hours are possible with the optional mini gas
preparation unit.

How does testo 300 M-I/XL-I work?
The flue gas is extracted in low
amounts (approx. 0.8 l/min) via
a sampling probe with a pump
integrated in the analyser.
Once it is cleaned and
dehumidified the gas is
conducted past the measuring
cells. The readings which are
stable within seconds, are
shown continuously on the
analyser`s display.
The readings can be printed
straightaway on the infrared
printer or can be saved in the
integrated data memory for
subsequent processing on the
PC.

Protection from condensate
During long-term measurements, condensate must be
prevented from getting into the analyser and causing
damage. Therefore in order to protect the analyser,
simply replace the condensate trap in the sampling
hose with a mini gas preparation unit which cools the
flue gas. When condensate develops it is automatically
pumped out by the integrated hose pump.

Accurate SO2 measurements
Incorrect readings may be displayed during the
measurement of SO2 on account of SO2 being
absorbed into the condensate or in wet filters. The
compact gas drier “dries” the flue gas and thus
guarantees accurate readings, particularly in
connection with the special hose for SO2
measurements.
