Front Coil Spring Conversion Instructions.
1. Turn air suspension switch to the off position. (Switch is located on the driver side of the trunk)
2. Raise vehicle with proper lifting equipment. The tires must be off the ground. Suspension must be fully
down with no load. ALWAYS USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN LIFTING VEHICLE! (Refer to
shop manual for lifting instructions)
3. Remove wheel.
4. Remove solenoid-retaining clip.
6. Remove air hose and unplug power to the
solenoid. To remove the air hose, push down
on the orange ring while pulling out on the
nylon tubing.
5. Rotate solenoid counterclockwise to
the first stop, then pull down on
solenoid. Make sure all the air vents
out of the air spring. Rotate again and
remove solenoid.
7. Unbolt the brake line and remove from
mounting bracket. Unplug strut electrical
damper solenoid.
8. Remove the ABS sensor cable from strut.
9. Unhook height sensor.
10. Remove lower knuckle pinch bolt and
nut.
11. Remove stabilizer bar link nut.
12. Remove stabilizer bar link from strut.
13. Loosen top three mount-to-shock nuts.
Do not remove the large center nut.
14. Carefully remove the old air spring/ shock
assembly from vehicle.
15. Install new coil spring/ strut and three top
top mount-to-shock nuts. Do not tighten nuts.
16. Install knuckle pinch bolt and nut.
(Tighten to 73-97 lb-ft).
17. Tie back nylon tubing and electrical plug.
18. Install stabilizer bar link and tighten nut to 57-75 lb-ft. (Reverse steps #11 and 12)
19. Install brake line to the mounting bracket. (Reverse step # 7)
19. Install ABS cable relief back to strut mounting bracket. (Reverse step # 8)
20. Snap height sensor back to its lower ball stud. (Reverse step # 9)
21. Replace wheel and lower suspension.

Rear Coil Spring Conversion Instructions.
1. Turn air suspension switch to the off position. (Switch is located on the driver side of the trunk)
2. Raise vehicle with proper lifting equipment. The tires must be off the ground. Suspension must be fully
down with no load. ALWAYS USE EXTREME CAUTION WHEN LIFTING VEHICLE! (Refer to
shop manual for lifting instructions)
3. Remove wheel(s).
4. Remove solenoid-retaining clip.
6. Remove air hose and unplug power to the
solenoid. To remove the air hose, push down
on the orange ring while pulling out on the
nylon tubing.
5. Rotate solenoid counterclockwise to
the first stop, then pull outward on
solenoid. Make sure all the air vents
out of the air spring. Rotate again and
remove solenoid.
7. Depress the two plastic locking fingers on
the top air spring cap. Push down on air spring
and remove from top body bracket.
8. Depress the four locking clips on the lower
air spring piston. Push up through spring seat.
9. Remove old air spring from vehicle.
10. Remove lower spring seat nuts and bolts.
11. Remove lower spring seat.
12. Unbolt the top and bottom shock absorber
retaining nuts and bolts. Replace the old shocks
with the new ones supplied with the conversion kit.
13. Install coil spring to upper and lower spring
mounts using the aluminum spring mounts
supplied with conversion kit. (Very carefully,
jack up on the center of the lower spring seat)
14. Align the three bolt holes up, and replace
the bolts from the outside as shown in picture.
15. Using a wrench, replace the three lower
spring seat nuts.
17. Tie back nylon tubing and electrical plug.
18. Replace wheel and lower suspension.
