(1)はじめに

本書はAndroid向けアプリケーションSmart Device Printについて、正しい使い方や使用上の注

意について記載してあります。

最後までよくお読みの上、正しくお使いください。

・アプリケーションの概要

このアプリケーションは、Androidデバイスにある写真や書類を、株式会社リコーのプリン

ターもしくは複合機で印刷することができるアプリケーションです。

・動作確認済みAndroidデバイス

サポートページを参照ください。

・対応するAndroid OSバージョン

2.2以上

・動作対象のプリンターもしくは複合機

株式会社リコーのプリンターもしくは複合機。

対応機種(動作確認済み機種)については、サポートページを参照ください。

・動作対象のLF(ロケーションフリー)プリントサーバー

リコー LF Print Server AE2

・動作対象のオンデマンド印刷アプリケーション

(2)説明書の読みかた

2-1.本書で使われているマークの意味

重要:機能をご利用になるときに留意いただきたい項目を記載しています。

印刷ミスやデータ損失など意図しない結果の原因となる項目も記載していますので、

必ずお読みください。

補足:機能についての補足項目、操作を誤ったときの対処方法などを記載しています。

本アプリケーションの操作画面のボタンや項目は[ ]により示します。

Android OSやAndroidデバイスの設定等、本アプリケーション以外での操作、設定等につい

ては【】により示します。

2-2. 本書についてのご注意

本書はAndroid OSバージョンの2.3.4以上のXperia arc SO-01Cを元に作成しております。

本書の内容に関しては、将来予告なしに変更することがあります。

本アプリケーションやAndroid OS、Androidデバイスの改良変更等により、本書のイラスト

や記載事項と一部異なる場合がありますのでご了承ください。

本書の一部または全部を無断で複写、複製、改変、引用、転載することはできません。

(3)このアプリケーションでできること

・Androidデバイス内にある写真を印刷する。

・Androidデバイス内にある書類(PDF)を印刷する。

・クリップボードに保存されたテキストを印刷する。

・本アプリケーション内で表示したWebページを印刷する。

・他のアプリケーションでの【アプリケーションを選択】機能により、本アプリケーションで

開いた写真、書類を印刷する。

・ユーザーコードやユーザー認証を使ってセキュアな印刷をする。

・オンデマンド印刷アプリケーションを利用して印刷をする。

・LF(ロケーションフリー)プリントサーバーを利用して印刷をする。

(4)本アプリケーションのご利用にあたって

4-1. AndroidデバイスをWi-Fiに接続する

Androidデバイスの【設定】→【無線とネットワーク】→【Wi-Fi設定】から、ご利用環境の

Wi-Fiネットワークの選択、設定を行い、Wi-Fi接続を行う。

補足:ネットワークの設定の詳細については、ご利用環境での管理者にお問い合わせくださ

い。

4-2. プリンターもしくは複合機をネットワークに接続する

ご利用になるプリンターもしくは複合機メーカーの取扱説明書の確認や、ご利用環境での管

理者にお問い合わせください。

(5)本アプリケーションの画面について

5-1. メニュー画面

印刷対象や設定などの項目が選べます。

5-2. 印刷プレビュー画面

<印刷設定>

印刷属性を設定します。

<プレビュー領域>

プレビューを表示します。

また、複数ページある場合にはスワイプして

(画面に触れた状態で指を滑らせて) 、

各ページのプレビューを表示できます。

<[印刷]ボタン>

印刷を実行します。

・プレビュー領域

プレビューを表示します。また、複数ページある場合にはスワイプして

(画面に触れた状態で指を滑らせて)、各ページのプレビューを表示できます。

・[印刷設定]ボタン

印刷属性を変更できます。

・[印刷]ボタン

印刷を実行します。

(6)印刷するプリンターもしくは複合機、またはLF(ロケーションフリー)サーバーを指定する。

<[Bonjour検索]ボタン>

Bonjour検索を実行します。

DNSホスト名またはIPアドレスを入力して機

器を検索します。

LFサーバーを検索する場合は、サーバー検

索にチェックを入れ、共有名も入力します。

機器詳細を表示します。

登録されている機器の一覧

が確認できます。

機器がPDFダイレクト印刷機能に対応している場合に表示さ

れます。

機器がLFサーバーの場合は、機器側の対応の有無にかか

わらず、チェックボックスと共に表示されます。機器がPDFダ

イレクト印刷機能に対応している場合にのみチェックボックス

にチェックをしてください。

6-1. Bonjourで印刷するプリンターもしくは複合機を検索して指定する。

1.メニュー画面で[機器登録]を選択し、[機器検索]ボタンを押します。

2.[Bonjour検索]ボタンを押します。

3.検索結果が表示されますので、追加する機器を一つもしくは複数選択します。

4.[機器登録]ボタンで[機器一覧]に追加されます。

5.[機器一覧]に表示されている機器から、印刷するプリンターもしくは複合機を選択します。

補足:動作確認されていないプリンターもしくは複合機も検索結果に表示されます。

動作確認済みの機種であるかご確認ください。

補足:Androidデバイスと、プリンターもしくは複合機が同じサブネットのものを検索対象

とします。

補足:プリンター(ジェルジェットプリンターは除く)もしくは複合機が、PS3もしくは

AirPrintに対応している必要があります。

6-2. DNSホスト名またはIPアドレスを手入力してプリンターもしくは複合機を指定する。

1.メニュー画面で[機器登録]を選択し、[機器検索]ボタンを押します。

2.ホスト名/IP Address 入力フィールドを押します。

3.キーボードが表示されるので、ホスト名またはIPアドレスを入力します。

4.[検索]ボタンを押します。

5.検索結果が表示されますので、追加する機器を選択します。

6. [機器登録]ボタンで[機器一覧]に追加されます。

7.[機器一覧]に表示されている機器から、印刷するプリンターもしくは複合機を選択します。

補足:IPアドレスは0から255までをドット(.)で区切った形式で入力してください。

(例:168.190.0.1)

補足:プリンターもしくは複合機がSNMPに対応している必要があります。

補足:動作確認されていないプリンターもしくは複合機も指定可能です。

動作確認済みの機種であるかご確認ください。

補足:ホスト名はDNSサーバーに登録されているホスト名を入力してください。

6-3. DNSホスト名またはIPアドレスを手入力してLFサーバーを指定する。

1.メニュー画面で[機器登録]を選択し、[機器検索]ボタンを押します。

2.[サーバー検索]のチェックボックスにチェックを入れます。

3.ホスト名/IP Address 入力フィールドを押します。

4.キーボードが表示されるので、ホスト名またはIPアドレスを入力します。

5.共有名入力フィールドを押します。

6.キーボードが表示されるので、共有名を入力します。

7.[検索]ボタンを押します。

8.検索結果が表示されますので、追加する機器を選択します。

9.[確定]ボタンで[機器一覧]に追加されます。

10.[機器一覧]に表示されている機器から、LFサーバーを選択します。

補足:IPアドレスは0から255までをドット(.)で区切った形式で入力してください。

(例:168.190.0.1)

補足:対応しているLFサーバーは

“(1)はじめに”の”・動作対象のLF(ロケーションフリー)

プリントサーバー

”を参照してください。

補足:共有名はLFサーバーに設定されている共有名を入力してください。詳細はご利用環境

での管理者にお問い合わせください。

補足:本アプリケーションでは日本語の共有名は設定できません。

補足:ホスト名はDNSサーバーに登録されているホスト名を入力してください。

重要:LFサーバーを指定した場合は、[PDFダイレクトプリント]の項目は常時表示されます。

PDFダイレクトプリント機能に対応したLFサーバーをご使用の場合にのみ、チェックボ

ックスを有効に設定してください。

重要:機器を登録した後にその機器のIPアドレス等の情報が変更になった場合には、一度機器一

覧から削除して、再度機器を登録してください。再登録を行わない場合は、変更前の機器情

報で印刷されるため、予期せぬ問題が発生する可能性があります。

(7)印刷属性を設定する

印刷属性を設定します。

印刷属性を設定する画面は2つあります。

7-1. 印刷対象の印刷属性を設定する。

1.[写真]/ [書類] /[クリップボード]/ [Web]メニューの画面内から印刷対象を選択し、印

刷設定を選択します。

2.必要な印刷属性を設定します。

7-2. 印刷プレビュー画面で表示される印刷属性の初期値を設定する。

設定の変更が反映されるタイミングは、次回のアプリケーション起動時になります。

ホーム画面へ戻ることや、他のアプリケーションへ切り替えても変更内容は反映されません。

反映させるためには本アプリケーションのメニュー画面で戻るキーを押下して、アプリケー

ションを終了させ、再度本アプリケーションを起動してください。

1.[印刷設定]メニューを選択します。

2.必要な印刷属性を設定します。

設定できる印刷属性は以下の通りです。

[機器選択]

登録されている機器の中から印刷する機器を選択します。

・ 設定できる機器

機器一覧画面で登録されている機器

初期設定値: 機器一覧画面で初期値に設定されている機器

補足:機器が未登録の場合には機器を登録してください。

[カラー/白黒]

カラーで印刷するか白黒で印刷するかを選択します。

・カラー

・白黒

初期設定値:カラー

重要:カラーに設定して白黒原稿を印刷した場合は、CMYKのトナーを使ってカラーとして

印刷されます。そのため機器本体のカラーカウンターにカウントされます。Kトナー

のみ使って印刷したい場合は白黒に設定して印刷してください。

[用紙サイズ]

用紙サイズを設定します。

・設定できる用紙サイズ

A3、B4、A4、B5、A5、11×17、8 1/2 × 14、8 1/2 ×11、5 1/2 × 8 1/2

初期設定値:A4

[用紙種類]

用紙種類を設定します。

・設定できる用紙種類

普通紙/再生紙、光沢紙

初期設定値:普通紙/再生紙

[方向指定]

用紙の印刷方向を設定します。

・縦

・横

初期設定値:縦

[片面/両面]

片面で印刷するか両面で印刷するかを選択します。

・片面

・両面(左ひらき)

・両面(上ひらき)

初期設定値:片面

[集約]

集約で印刷するか集約しないで印刷するかを選択します。

[用紙トレイ]

どの給紙トレイの用紙に印刷するかを選択します。

印刷方法を選択します。

補足:機密印刷を選択時は、ユーザーIDと機密印刷パスワードを設定してください。

[フォントサイズ]

クリップボードにコピーされているテキストを印刷する時のフォントサイズを

設定します。

・小(10 point)

・中(12 point)

・大(14 point)

初期設定値:中(12 point)

[印刷ページ指定]

印刷ページを指定します。

・1~99

初期値:1~1

[印刷部数]

印刷部数を指定します。

・1~99

初期設定値:1

[ユーザーID]

機密印刷、もしくはオンデマンド印刷アプリケーションを利用して印刷する場合に設定しま

す。

・半角英数字8文字以内.

初期設定値:空白

<機密印刷設定>

[パスワード]

機密印刷のパスワードを設定します。

・4文字以上8文字以内の半角数字.

初期設定値:空白

<認証設定>

ユーザー認証およびユーザーコード認証の設定をします。

ユーザー認証設定が

”オン”の場合は、ログインユーザー名、ログインパスワードの入力が

可能です。

ユーザー認証設定が

”オフ”の場合は、ユーザーコードの入力が可能です。

補足:機器に設定されているドライバー暗号鍵が初期設定値から変更されている場合は、

本アプリケーションからのユーザー認証は失敗します。

ドライバー暗号鍵の設定状況は、ご利用環境での管理者にお問い合わせください。

[ユーザー認証]

ユーザー認証情報を付加して印刷するか、付加しないで印刷するかを選択します。

・ オン

・ オフ

初期設定値:オフ

[ログインユーザー名]

ユーザー認証で使用するログインユーザー名を設定します。

・半角英数字/記号

初期設定値:空白

[ログインパスワード]

ユーザー認証で使用するログインパスワードを設定します。

・半角英数字/記号

初期設定値:空白

[ユーザーコード]

ユーザーコード認証で使用するユーザーコードを設定します。

・8文字以内の半角数字.

メニューの印刷設定と写真/書類/クリップボード/Web内の印刷設定画面で設定可能な印刷

※1:印刷する機器がジェルジェットプリンターの場合のみ設定可能です。

※2:2部以上を設定した場合は、常にソートされて印刷されます。

ただし、ソート機能に非対応のプリンターもしくは複合機機器で印刷した場合は、

スタック印刷されます。

(8)写真を印刷する

印刷したい写真があるフォルダを

選択します。

Androidデバイス内にある写真を印刷します。

対応している画像形式はJPGです。

1.[写真]メニューを選択します。

2.印刷したい写真のあるリストを選択します。

3.リストの中の印刷したい写真をひとつもしくは複数選択します。

4.[印刷プレビュー]を押して、プレビュー表示させます。

5.必要に応じて、印刷属性を設定します。

6.[印刷]ボタンを押します。

補足:各印刷属性については、"(7)印刷属性を設定する"を参照してください。

補足:選択された写真の中で印刷対象から外す場合には、その外したい写真を押して

チェックボタンを外してください。

再度印刷対象にする場合には、その写真を押してチェックボタンをつけてください。

補足:写真選択後、一度[写真]メニューから他のメニューに移動して再度[写真]メニュー

を選択すると、それまで選択した写真を全て解除するか否かを問い合わせします。

全て解除する場合には[OK]、解除せずそのまま[写真]メニューでの写真選択を

続ける、もしくは印刷する場合には[キャンセル]を押してください。

(9)書類を印刷する

印刷したいファイルを選択します。

Androidデバイス内にある書類(PDF)を印刷します。

1.[書類]メニューを選択します。

2.印刷したい書類があるフォルダを選択します。

3.書類を選択します。

4.書類の内容を確認する場合は、[他アプリに送信]ボタンを押してアプリケーションを選択

します。

5.必要に応じて、印刷属性を設定します。

6.[印刷]ボタンを押します。

補足:[他アプリに送信]ボタンを押しても選択できるアプリケーションがない場合は、

【Adobe Reader】等のPDFを表示できるアプリケーションをインストールしてください。

補足:各印刷属性については、"(7)印刷属性を設定する"を参照してください。

補足: 書類を印刷するには、プリンターもしくは複合機がPDFダイレクトプリント機能に対

応している必要があります。

プリンターもしくは複合機がPDFダイレクトプリント機能に対応している場合には、

[機器詳細]画面に

”PDFダイレクト”項目名が表示されます。

補足:暗号化されたPDFなど、PDFの付加機能によっては正しく印刷プレビューや印刷ができ

ない場合があります。

補足:PDFダイレクトプリント機能でサポートするPDFのバージョン等は、ご利用になるプリ

ンターもしくは複合機メーカーの取扱説明書の確認や、ご利用環境での管理者にお問

い合わせください。

(10) クリップボードの内容を印刷する

クリップボードにコピーされているテキストを印刷します。

1.[クリップボード]メニューを選択します。

2.必要に応じて、印刷属性を設定します。

3.[印刷]ボタンを押します。

補足:各印刷属性については、"(7)印刷属性を設定する"を参照してください。

補足:テキストのクリップボードへのコピーは、コピー元のアプリケーションやAndroid OSの

仕様を確認ください。

(11)Webページを印刷する

印刷したいページのURLを入力します。

ページの再読み込み/読み込み中止(読み込

み途中の場合)をします。

前ページ/次ページに

移動します。

表示しているページをブックマークに追加します。

ブックマークの参照、編集、削除をします。

本アプリケーション内で表示しているWebページを印刷します。

1.[Web]メニューを選択します。

2.URLの入力フィールドを押します。

3.キーボードが表示されるので、印刷したいWebページのURLを入力します。

4.必要に応じて、印刷属性を設定します。

5.[印刷]ボタンを押します。

(12)他のアプリケーションの写真や書類、Webページの内容を印刷する

写真や書類、Webページの内容を他のアプリケーションに選択させる機能を持っているアプリケ

ーションから、写真や書類、Webページの内容を本アプリケーションで印刷することができます。

他のアプリケーションから本アプリケーションで印刷可能な写真・書類の種類はJPG /PDFです。

補足:ブックマークはAndroidデバイスの標準ブラウザーと共有されます。

補足:表示するWebページによっては、正常に印刷プレビュー表示や印刷が行えないことがあり

ます。

1.他のアプリケーションで、本アプリケーションで印刷する写真や書類、Webページが表示もし

くは選択されている状態で、【アプリケーションを選択】画面を表示させます。

2.リストの中から「Smart Device Print」を選択します。

3.アプリケーションが切り替わり、本アプリケーションの画面が表示されます。

4.必要に応じて印刷属性を設定し、[印刷]ボタンを押して印刷します。

(13)アプリケーションの情報や取扱説明書を表示する。

補足:【アプリケーションを選択】画面を表示するための手順は、アプリケーションによって

異なりますので、アプリケーション仕様を確認ください。

メニュー画面で【メニュー】システムキーを押すと、About/Help画面が表示されます。

・Aobut

バージョン情報や問い合わせ先を表示します。

・Help

本アプリケーションの使い方や注意点などが記載された取扱説明書を表示します。
