Inside the package there is a spare filter (7), in
addition to the one already mounted on the

NOTE: the steam ready light (9) turns on and off
during use. This indicates that the electric resistance is operating to keep temperature constant and is therefore quite normal.
Note: The limescale filters, as well as replacement cloths, can be purchased in all leading
household appliance stores, or online at
www.polti.com.
Warning:
- To remove the cloth from the brush, detach
the power supply plug from the electric
socket and wait a few minutes to allow the
cloth to cool.
STORING THE DEVICE
Before replacing the appliance:
- Unplug the power supply from the mains.
- Completely empty the water tank (5) to avoid
water leaks.
- Before detaching the cloth from the brush,
wait a few minutes to allow it to cool.
- Wind the power cable around the special
cable rewinds (3) and (6).
NO WATER
The water level is always visible thanks to the
transparent tank.
When the water inside the tank (D) has been
used up, steam will stop being released.
To restart operations just fill the water tank (5)
again as described in the paragraph “PREPARATION”.
Warning:
- Before using the appliance again, remember to unwind the power cable completely.
The upper cable winder (3) rotates 180° in
order to wind up the power cable quickly.
- Do not keep the appliance connected to
the power supply with the cable wound up.
Warning: This must always be done after having disconnected the appliance from the
mains.
PRACTICAL ADVICE FOR THE USE OF
THE ACCESSORIES
PRECAUTIONS
• Before treating leather, special fabrics and
wood surfaces, consult the manufacturer’s
instructions and always carry out a test on a
hidden part or on a sample of the material.
Allow the steamed part to dry to make sure
that no changes in colour or deformations
have occurred.
• Please pay careful attention when cleaning
treated wood or terracotta flooring, as prolonged use of steam may damage the wax, polish or colour of the surfaces to be cleaned. We
therefore recommend only steaming these
surfaces for short periods of time, or cleaning
using a previously steamed cloth.
• The universal cloth (11) can be used on most
surfaces. If when using the universal cloth
(11), it does not slide smoothly, you can use
the very smooth cloth (14).
LIMESCALE FILTER
By nature, water contains mineral salts that favour the formation of scale.
Vaporetto SV300 is supplied with a limescale filter (7) which reduces the passage of mineral
salts and therefore the formation of limescale.
Always use demineralised water.
We recommend that the filter be changed 2 times per year.
To replace the filter, proceed as follows:
• Unplug from the mains electricity.
• Remove the water tank (5) (Fig. 3) pulling it
upward, then remove the filter (7), still pulling
upward (Fig. 13).
• Position the new filter (7), push gently and
make sure that it is perfectly inserted (Fig.
13), then reposition the water tank (Fig. 6).
