End of Cooking Process -
* The unit will beep when the cooking time is done and
switch to KEEP WARM.
* You can now release pressure. There are 2 release
methods:
1) Quick Release Method: Release the pressure quickly
by turning the regulator knob to the STEAM position.
2) Natural Release Method: Stop the KEEP WARM
function and turn the unit off completely. This lets the
pressure drop naturally without turning the regulator knob
to STEAM. This will take several minutes, during which
the food inside will continue cooking. You'll know when
the pressure has been fully released because the floating
valve will drop and you will be able to open the lid.
~ Brown & Saute
These functions can be used to brown and sauté meats,
vegetables and more with very little oil at high heats
before cooking to create more flavor. Each function has its
own temperature range for added convenience.
~ Yogurt Function -
This function is perfect for making traditional yogurt and
Greek yogurt right at home. The screen will show HEAT to
warm the milk and YGRT for the yogurt making process.
