NOTE:

The heater on your fireplace may emit a slight, harmless odor when first used. This odor is a normal condition caused by initial heating of internal heater parts and will not occur again.

The fireplace is manually controlled by two switches located in the upper right corner.

CUTOFF SWITCH

NOTE:

There is a safety temperature cutoff switch

(cutout) inside the heater.

If the heater overheats, the cutout will shut off the supply power.

It can be reset by unplugging the unit and waiting 5 minutes before plugging the unit back on.

CAUTION:

If you need to continuously reset the heater, unplug the unit and call technical service at

Flame ON/OFF

The Flame ON/OFF switch turns the flame and ember bed ON and OFF.

Set the switch to “I” to turn the flame and ember bed ON.

Set to “O” to turn the flame and ember bed OFF.

Heater ON/OFF

The Heater ON/OFF switch supplies power to the heater fan and the heating element.

When the heater is switched

ON, the heater fan and element will operate and the switch light will turn ON.
