The Kanguru USB Duplicator has external USB HDD support.
Please follow these instructions when duplicating an external
USB HDD using the Kanguru
USB Duplicator:
HDD Usage with the Kanguru USB Duplicator

Power on the Kanguru USB Duplicator.

Power your external HDD using the power cord that was included with your hard drive.
AC Adapter Y-Type USB

Follow the diagrams below to connect your external USB hard drive to the duplicator.
3.5” HDD with AC Adapter 2.5” HDD with Y-Type USB Cable
2.5” HDD with Hub 2.5” HDD with Y-Type USB Cable and Hub
If you are still having trouble duplicating your external
USB HDD, try the following:
• Use an uniteruptible power supply with the USB Duplicator and USB HDDs to maintain constant electrical voltage.
• Power off the unit, connect the HDDs and then power it back on.
• Check the file system being copied and what copy mode the USB Duplicator is set to (Brief mode is limited on whch file systems it can duplicate).
