INSTALLATION
. - Plug one end of coiled cord to the jack of handset and the other end to the Jack of the
base sel
- Plug one end of flal cord to line jack of the phone and the other end to the wall jack
- Open the battery compartment cover, install 3 PCS AA batteries (nol Included) or
- Connect the 8V adapter to the DC jack of the unit
Note: 1. Adapler was included but no batteries included for the unit. |
2. If no batteries and no adapter for power supply, tha speakerphone and caller
(D function will unable be used (The LCD will appear nothing), but the dial-out
and dial-in function can be operated normally
OPERATION
1. Making A Call
- Lift the handset or press speakerphone button to get the dial lone
- Enter the wanted telephone number
2. Pre=Dlaling
- Enter the wanted telephone number first, (at most 32 digits)
- Lift the handset or press [SPEAKER] key, the entered number will be dialed out
automatically
Note: You may use [DEL/SET] key to modify or earse the number during entering
the wanted telephone number.
3. Last Outgoing Number Redial
- Lift the handset or press speakerphone button
- Press [RD/PA] key to dial out the last outgoing number
4, Review, Delete, Dial Back Incoming Calis
- When tha handset is placed on the base unit (on-hook state), press | < ] or {= | to réview
the incoming call records (at most 90 records)
- When you review the telephone number, press [BACK] once will dial back the display
number. If you press [BACK] two times, It will dial back the number with adding 0' as
first digit. (For example, the display number is 2128 1234, Press [BACK] two times and
it will dial back "02128 1234 automatically)
- When the user want to delete the telephone number which displaying on LCD, press
[DEL/SET] key to delete, press [DEL/SET] key 3 secands to delete all incoming calls
5. Review, Dial Back, Delete The Outgoing Calle
- Under on-hook stale, press [OUT] key to review the last outgoing calls (at most 8 recorcis)
- When the user want to dial back the telephone number which displaying on LCD, press
[BACK] key or just lift the handset to dial back the number
- When the user want to delete the telephona numbar which displaying on LCD, press
[DEL/SET] key to delete, press [DEL/SET] key 3 seconds lo delete all outgoing calls
6. Do Not Be Disturbed Function
- Under or-haok state, press [HOLD/SL] key for 3 seconds, "SLEEP 00-00" will display
on LCD to indicate the telephone enter do not be disturbed time setting state.
- Press [HOLD/SL] key once, the do not disturbed time is set to one hour. Press [HOLD/SL]
again to add one hour. (Press the key until the wanted hours appear)
- After the wanted hours appear, wait for about 15 seconds until the set sleep time stos
to blink.
- Under the do not be disturbad state, press [HOLD/SL] key to exit from this state (the
sleep time counting will be paused). Press [HOLD/SL] again to re-enter to do nat be
disturbed stale.
- If the telephone under do not be disturbed state, the ringer will not be activated by
incoming calls (except VIP calls), the number and time of incoming calls wlll be stored
automatically.
- Under do not be disturbed state, you can dial out the telephone number as normal.
Note: Under thé do not be disturbed state, the remaining sleep time will not be shown
automatically. H you need to check the remalning sleep time, you may press [HOLD/GL]
two times or after any incoming call received and completed, the LCD also will display
the remaining time as well.
7. VIP Function
- When review incoming calls, press [VIP] key, then the displaying call will be set info
VIP call
- The user can sat VIP calls, and the VIP calls will activate the ringer even under do no
be disturbed state |
8. Flash Function
- Under off-hook state, press [FLASH] key onca, telaphone will enter on-hook state for
G00ms, then re-connect the line
3. Music Hold
- During conversation, press [HOLD/SL] key once
- Put back the handset or press speakerphone button if speakerphone activated
- Lift the handset or press speakerphone button to go ta talk with the caller
10. Mute Function
- During conversation, prege and hold the [T/PMUTE] key to temporarily prevent the caller
from hearing your conversation
- Press lhe [T/PMUTE] key again to recover the conversation
11. Copy Function
- When review incoming calls or outgoing calls, press [RING/COPY] key once, the
displaying call will be copied to the phonebook
12. Remote Control for New Caller ID Inquiry
- Be sure the user have set remote code and set remote control "On"
- Use another telephone lo dial your lelephons number
- Input the remote code after hearing & dialing tones and a long "OI sound, there will be
a long "DI" sound if remote code is right and two short "DI" sound if remote code is wrong
- Prass [*] or [#] to review, there will be along "DI" sound to indicate the start/end of list
- Press [0] twice or put back handset to exit
- W there is no operation in 10 seconds, telephone will exit from remote control
Remarks: Please enter the remote control code under quiet environment,
| - nolsy background will distort the code signal transmitting.
IMPORTANT NOTES :
To operate this unit, you must have ‘CALLER ID SERVICE setput with your local telephone
company. Some functions such-as "CALLER NAME INDICATION" will only operate if such
services are included in the user's Caller 1.D. program with the local telephone company.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS |
- This telephone is an electrical device and can be hazardous if immersed in water. I!
you accidentally drap it Into water, first unplug it from wall jack, and remove it from water.
- Please keep the telephone dry and do not use it in moisture place. For example, near
a balhtub, washbowl, kitchen sink, faundry tub and swimming pool. Po not use it in rain.
- Unplug the phone from the wall jack before cleaning with damp clath; please do not -
use liquid or aerosol cleanser.
- Do not use the phone to report a gas leak in the gas vicinity. Please remove yourself
immediately from the area and make the emergency phone call in a safe area.
- Handle the phone carefully. Do not drop it.
- Do not use or put the unit in extreme lemperature.
- Keep the phone away from dust and dirt.
- Use the right power batteries indicated in the manual. Do not put batteries in à fire for
such action can lead to an explosion. :
- Do not modify or tamper with the telephone s internal components. Improper adjustment
can cause damage and can be dangerous.

SETTING
Alter installing the batteries, it will automatically enter language setting and max store
meomry of phone book setting. Im normal operation, press [DEL/SET] key for 3 seconds
also can enter the setting area including real time calendar, LCD contrast, parallel telephone
On/Off, remote contral On/Off, voice reporting On/Off and voice reporting type.
NOTE: Please be sure the telephone lines are good connected and batteries are installed
before starting setting
1. Setting Language
- After installing the batteries, telaphone will indicate the user to select the language with
"ENGLISH" displaying on LCD
- Press [+] or [+] key to select wanted language among ENGLISH, CASTELLANO,
ESPANHOL, FRANCAIS
- Press [BOOK] key or speakerphone bution to confirm
- Then "Max Data bank=032" will displaying on LCD to indicate the user to set the max
store memory of phonebook
Note: IF you want to reset the language, you must reinstall the balteries.
. 2. Setting The Max Store Memory of Phonebook
- When "Max Data bank=032" displaying on LCD, and "032" is blinking, press [«] or [+]
la select, the telephone can store up to 110 memorles
- Press [BOOK] or speakerphone bulton to confirm
Note: If you want to reset the maxstore, you must reinstall the batteries.
3. Tone-Pulse Selectable
- When telephone undar on-hook state, press [T-P/MUTE] key to switch between tone
dialing mode ("DTMF" display) and pulse dialing mode.
4. FSK/DTMF Selectable
- When the first received call with DTMF format, then telephone will only receive calls
with this format
- The user can press [DEL/SET] key 3 seconds to enter the setting, [Ift the handset then
put back the handset or
- Continuously press [DEL/SET] key to exit from setting or
- Unmstall the batterles, then re-install
- Also when the first received cali with FSK format, the user can use the above methods
lo set
5, Volume adjustable
- Under off-hook state, continuously press [VOLUME] key to adjust the handset volume;
- Under on-hook state, and [SPEAKER] key prassed, continuously press [VOLUME] key
to adjust the speaker-phone volume,
- Ringer can ba turned off by the ringer switch at the back.
6. Setting the Real Time Calendar
- When telephone under on-hook state, press and hold [DEL/SET] key until calendar
display on LCD to enter the main setting menu
- When the calendar display on LCD, and the year is blinking, press [=~] or [+] to select
lhe right number
- Press [DEL/SET) key to confirm
- Use the same mathod to set the month, date, and hour, minute sequentially. After setting
the real time, LCD will display "SET LOCAL CODE" to Indicate the user 10 setting the
local area code.
7. Setting the Local Area Code | | |
- When "SET LOCAL CODE" display on LCD, and the first digit ls blinking, prass [a] ar
[+] to select the right number
' Press [DEL/SET] kay to confirm
- Use the same method lo set the rest digils sequentially, After setting the local area code,
LCD will display "SETTING CONTRAST" to indicate the user to set thé LCD contrast
8. Setting the LCD Contrast
‚When the LCD contrast level displaying on LCD, press [+] or [+] tó select the right
lavel
Press [DEL/SET] kéy to confirm, after setting the LD contrast, LCD will display "PAL
ALLOW" 10 indicate the user to set the parallel lalephones allow/forbid |
NOTE: When telephone under on-hook state, the user can press and hold [FLASH] key
until "SETTING CONTRAST" displaying on LCD to adjust the LCD contrast, press [+]
or [+ ] ta select the right brightness and press [FLASH] key to confirm
9. Setting the Parallel Telephone On/Off
This function only valid when your phone is connected to another phones simultaneously)
When "PAR ALLOW" displaying on LCD, press [+ ] or [+ ] to selact the parallel telephone(s)
allow/forbid
IF the: user select "PAR ALLOW", and press [DEL/SET] to confirm, then parallel telephone (s)
can make outgoing calls
H the user select "PAR FORBID", and press [DEL/SET] 1o confirm, then parallel telaphone(s)
¢an not make outgoing calls
After setling this function, LCD will display "SET REMOTE CODE" to indicate the user
to set the remote control code.
temarks: The user should ignore this setting procedure and allow "PAR ALLOW" for all
me if he/she has only one phone without any connecting phone
10. Setting the Remote Control Code
When "SET REMOTE CODE" displaying on LCD, enter tha wanted code by pressing
the corresponding keys (0-9) on keypad (the original code is 1234)
Press [DEL/SET] kay to confirm, after setting the remote control code, LCD will display
“REMOTE ON" to indicate the user to set remote control orvoff
|1. Setting the Remote Control On/Off
When "REMOTE ON" displaying on LCD, press [a] or [+] to select this function on/off
Press [DEL/SET] kay to confirm, after setting the remote control on/off, LCD will display
"VOICE ON" to indicate the user to set voice reporting function on/off
emarks: When the "Remote" is set “On, thé user can access the phone with another
ilephone for new incoming caller 1D inquiry.
12. Setting the Voice Reporting On/Off
- When "VOICE ON" displaying on LCD, press [« ] or [+] to select this function on/off.
(1 for one-time reporting, 2 for two-time reporting , 3 for threa-time reporting or off for
silence)
- Press [DEL/SET] key to confirm, after setting this function on/off, LCD will display
"SPEAKING 0" to indicate Wié.user lo set voice reporting type
Remarks: When "VOICE OFF" is set, alarm clock will be set silent
13, Setting the Volée Reporting Type
- Whan "SPEAKING 0" displaying on LCD, press [DEL/SET] key to confirm
Remarks: "0° is set to be English speaking
14. Setting the Alarm Clock
- Press and hold the [BACK] key for 3 seconds to enter the alarm clock setting
- When the hour is blinking, press [« ] or [+ ] to select the wanted hour and press [BACK]
key to confirm and enter the minute setting
- Use the same method to set and press [BACK] key to confirm. There will ba an icon of
Clock displaying on LCD to indicate the telephone enter alarm clock state
- Under alarm clock state, press speakerphone bution to axit
Note: The real time display is in 12 hrs mode, but the alarm clock is in 24 hrs mode.
(For example, if the real time is one o'clock in the afternoon, the time display will be
1:00pm. If you want to set the alarm clock to one o'clock in the afternoon then you should
sel to show 13:00)
15. Ringer Melody Selectable
- When telephone under on-hook state, press [RING/COPY] key to enter setting
- Continuously press [RING/COPY] key to select (there are 16 ringer melodies), and
corresponding ringing melody will sound
16. Melody For Music Hold Selectable
- When telephone under off-hook state, press [HOLD/SL] Key to enter the setting
- press [a ] or [+] to select the wanted melody (there arg 18 classic melodies for select)
17. Phonebook Input
- When telephone under on-hook or off-hook state, press [BOOK] key, “EDIT $ SEARCH
1" will displaying on LCD
- Press [= ] key to enter the setting, first enter the name (at most 16 letters), and usé
[DEL/SET] key to correct (For example: enter "C", just continuously press [2] key three
times )
- Press [BOOK] key to enter the number selling, enter the corresponding telephone number
(at most 16 digits)
- Press [BOOK] key to confirm and enter the next name and number setting -
= "MEMORY FULL" will displaying on LCD to indicate the user can not store any more
memories
- Press [BOOK] key twice or press speakerphone button to exit
18. Phonebook Search and Delete
- When telephone under on-hook or off-hook state, press [BOOK] key, "EDIT | SEARCH
{ " will displaying on LCD.
- Press [+] key to enter the search mode, "PLS Input Name" will displaying on LCD to
indicate the user to enter the name, enter the letter of the name, the wanted telephone
number will display on LCD, or just press [+] or [ +] to review one by one
- If the user want to delete a memory, when the wanted number with name displaying
on LCD, press [DEL/SET] key 2 seconds to delete it
- Press [BOOK] key to exit
