 USER'S INFORMATION MANUAL
WARNING: If the information in this manual is not followed exactly, a fire or
explosion may result causing property damage, personal injury, or loss of life.
- Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapors or liquids in the vicinity
of this or any other appliance.
-WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS
- Do not try to light any appliance.
- Do not touch any electrical switch: do not use any phone in your building.
- Immediately call your gas supplier from a neighbor's phone. Follow the gas
supplier's instructions.
‘If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the fire department.
- Installation and service must be performed by a qualified installer, service
agency, or the gas supplier.
FOR YOUR SAFETY READ BEFORE OPERATING
A. This appliance equipped with an ignition device which automatically lights pilot. Do not try to light pilot by
hand.
B. BEFORE OPERATING smell all around appliance area for gas. Be sure to smell next to floor because
some gas is heavier than air and will settle to floor. Follow instructions on other side if you smell gas.
C. Use only your hand to turn gas control knob. Never use foots. If knob will not tum by hand, don't try to
repair it, calla qualified service technician. Force or attempted repair may result in fire or explosion.
D. Do not use this appliance f any part has been under water, immediately call a qualifed service technician

Operation Sequence
. Sel thermostal(s) above room temperature to initiate call for heat.
. Control will start crculator pump. if thermostat is noi satished:
.… Blower Will siart and close air Switch.
‚ Spark will tum on and pilot gas valve will open, Pilot will ignite when gas reaches pilot burner.
. Main gas valve opens and main burner(s) ignile.

Should overheating occur or the gas supply fail to shut off, do not turn off or disconnect
electrical supply to pump. Instead, shut off gas supply al location external to appliance.
MAINTENANCE
1. Before each heating season or annually. Contact a qualified service agency to examine flue passages
between boiler sections, vent sysiam., pilot bummer, aind maim bumer per instructions im Installation, Operabon
& Maintenance manual.
3. Gontinuously. Keep boiler area clear and free from combustible matenals, gasoline and other flammable
vapors or liquids. Remove any obstructions to Tow of combustion air and ventilation air to appliance
3. Monthly. inspect vent system for deterioration. bakage, sagging, of obstructed materials. Contact a
qualified service agency to repar, as necessary
4. Rollout Swatch (Flame Rollout Safety Shutoff). The rollout switch is а temperature sensitive fusible fink
device located on boiler base just above burmers. Rollout switch intemupts flow of main burner gas if flue
passages become blocked.
Do not attempt to place boiler in operation if rollout swiich activates te shut off main burner gas. Contact
A qualified service agency to remedy flue passage blockage, install replacement rollout switch specimed
by manufacturer, and restore'verify proper operation.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
