Operation

Battery Installation and First Time Setup

1. Take off the battery cover, put the 3 AAA batteries inside or insert OC 5V adapter at the back of scale.

2. The sale needs to be initialized before first time use or after moving your scale.

Place the scale on a flat level surface before your start the scale.

3. The scale is ready to use out of box. No calibration is required except some special cases.

Weighing Operation

I. Press "c!," to turn on the scale. The LCD display will show the below picture

3. Put the item in the middle of the scale platform, the LCD will show the weight of the item. For example,

4. During the weighing process, press "HOLD" to lock the numbers. You will see the icon in the left corner as the below picture. After 60 seconds or press "HOLD" again, the scale display will be cleared. ,,,

Notes: When the scale runs on batteries, the scale will be automatically turn off in 90s if not in use; when using AC adapter for power supply, the scale will not automatically turn off. Also when the battery is low, the scale will automaticallY turn off. ffi 3

Calibration

The scale is ready to use out of box, no calibration is needed.

When calibration is needed, operate as below:

1. Press

to turn off the scale.

2. Press " kg:lb " and "

8. Put the weight (take 20 kg as example) in the middle of the scale platform. When the scale passes calibration, the LCD will show "CAL" and then "PASS" .

Otherwise please recalibrate.

Important

Please do not put the scale on an uneven surface.

Please do not use the scale under shaking circumstance,otherwise the reading will not be accurate.

3. Do not overload the scale,otherwise the scale will be damaged.

If the LCD does not show "O. O" , please reset the scale before weighing.

5_ Please put the item in the middle of the scale platform to ensure the accurate weighing.

6. Use scale only in a room temperature environment to ensure accurate weights.

7. When there is a sign of battery flashing in the left corner of the LCD display, please change the battery.

8. If the LCD show "Lo" , please change the battery.

9. Please turn off scale when not in use to prevent corrosion and to sustain the scales usage.

10. In order to save the battery' s life, please turn off the scale if not in use.

11. Remove batteries if not in use for three months or longer.
