Weatherproof Colour/Mono IR Camera

USER MANUAL

CAUTION

1.

Installation should be made by a qualified service person and should adhere to all local codes.

2.

In order to prevent electric shock and avoid damage to waterproof seals, do not loosen any screws on the camera body.

3.

Adjust the sunshield to avoid exposing the lens to direct sunlight.

4.

Do not touch the front glass. If necessary, use a soft cloth to wipe off dust or debris.

5.

Do not install on a surface subjected to frequent vibration or shocks.

6.

Do not operate the camera beyond its temperature range or power ratings.

7.

Should any damage or suspected damage occur, shutdown and disconnect the power and contact your service provider.

8.

Do not install the camera under unstable lighting conditions. Severe lighting change or flicker can cause the camera to work improperly.

9.

Never use the camera close to a gas or oil leak.

10.

Do not disassemble the camera.

11.

Do not drop the camera or subject the unit to physical shocks

12.

Do not point the camera directly at strong light, this can damage the sensor.

13.

Ensure all removable covers are replaced to protect the inner components.

14.

Do not install near devices which emit a strong electro-magnetic field.

15.

Use a dry or damp cloth only for cleaning.

INSTALLATION

Important: Ensure all precautions are observed during installation.

It is recommended the camera is tested during the most demanding environmental conditions such as low light or bright sunlight to ensure continuity of effective CCTV monitoring. You may find the use of an ND filter helpful.

Remove the camera unit carefully from the box,and keep the accessories in a safe place.

FIXING TO A WALL

DRAWING TEMPLATE l Use the supplied mounting template to mark the spacing for drilling. l Following drilling, securely attach the bracket and camera to the wall.

Connect the video output to your monitor.

Check the power supply is correct and connect it to the power port on the Camera.

View the picture on your monitor to check the power and video connections are working properly.

To assist in installation when using an analogue test monitor, the camera can be switched to an analogue output by pushing the joystick fully up for several seconds.

The camera output type can be selected with the OSD buttons by pressing in the direction of the desired output type for several seconds.

Troubleshooting l Ensure all connections to the Camera and DVR / Monitor are correct.

l If a picture still cannot be obtained please contact your supplier for technical support.

Point the Camera towards the area to be monitored.

ON SCREEN DISPLAY (OSD)

OSD Controller

Press and hold UP for 5 seconds. This will switch to a 960H ready output.

Press and hold LEFT for 5 seconds. This will switch to the 1080p AHD output.

Enter the service hatch on the underside of the camera via the 2 hex screws.

Locate the small joystick menu button. The directions are marked on the chassis.

Press and hold LEFT for 5 seconds to switch the camera to AHD.

Press and hold RIGHT for 5 seconds to switch the camera to TVI.

Press and hold UP for 5 seconds to switch the camera to CVBS or Analogue.

Press and hold DOWN for 5 seconds to switch the camera to CVI.

2MP cameras will be set to AHD by default. 3MP cameras will be set to TVI by default.

Open the lens adjuster cover and adjust focus and zoom. Loose the screw on the lens adjuster cover.
