Please read these instructions for use carefully and keep them for later use, be sure to make them accessible to other users and observe the information they contain.

1. Getting to know your instrument

The wrist blood pressure monitor is used for non-invasive measurement and monitoring of adults‘ arterial blood pressure.

You can use it to measure your blood pressure quickly and easily, storing the results and displaying the progression of readings. A warning is issued for anyone suffering from cardiac arrhythmia.

The values determined are classified and graphically evaluated according to WHO guidelines.

Keep these instructions carefully for further use and also let other users have access to them.

2. Important information

Advice on use

• Always measure your blood pressure at the same time of day, in order to ensure that values are comparable.

• Relax for approx. 5 minutes before each measurement.

• You should wait five minutes before measuring a second time.

• The readings that you take may only be used for information purposes – they are not a substitute for a medical examination! Discuss your results with the doctor. Never use them to make medical decisions independently (e.g. regarding medication and dosage thereof).

• If circulation on one arm is restricted as a result of chronic or acute vascular disease (including vasoconstriction), the precision of any wrist measurement is impaired. In this case, use a blood pressure monitor for the upper arm.

• There may be incorrect measurements where there is cardiocirculatory disease, as well as with very low blood pressure, circulatory disorders, dysrhythmia and other preexisting diseases.

• Only use the instrument on persons whose wrist has the right circumference for the instrument.

• You may only operate the blood pressure monitor with batteries. Note that it is only possible to save data when your blood pressure monitor is receiving power. As soon as the batteries are dead, the date and time on the blood pressure monitor are lost. Any measurement results that have been stored are however retained.

• The automatic switch-off function switches off the blood pressure monitor in order to preserve the batteries, if no button is pressed within one minute.

Storage and Care

• The blood pressure monitor is made up of precision electronic components. Accuracy of readings and the instrument‘s service life depend on careful handling.

– You should protect the device from impact, moisture, dirt, major temperature fluctuations and direct exposure to the sun‘s rays.

– Never drop the device.

– Do not use near strong electromagnetic fields, i.e. keep it away from any radio systems and mobile phones.

– Only ever use the cuffs provided with the monitor or original replacement cuffs. Otherwise erroneous results will be recorded.

• Do not press any buttons until the cuff is in position.

• If the instrument is not used for any length of time, we recommend removing the batteries.

Advice on batteries

• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. You should therefore store the batteries and products where they are inaccessible to small children. If a battery has been swallowed, call a doctor immediately.

• Batteries should not be charged or reactivated with any other means, nor should they be taken apart, thrown in the fire or short-circuited.

• Remove the batteries from the instrument if they are worn out or if you are not going to use the instrument for any length of time. This prevents any damage as a result of leakage. Always replace all the batteries at the same time.

• Never use different types of battery, battery brands or batteries with different capacities. You should preferably use alkaline batteries.

Repair and disposal

• Batteries do not belong in domestic refuse. Used batteries should be disposed of at the collection points provided.

• Never open the instrument. If these instructions are not heeded, the warranty will be null and void.

• Never attempt to repair the instrument or adjust it yourself.

We can no longer guarantee perfect functioning if you do.

• Repairs may only be performed by Customer Service or authorized dealers. However, always check the batteries and replace them if necessary prior to making any complaint.

• The appliance should be disposed of according to

Regulation 2002/96/EC-WEEE (Waste Electrical and

Electronic Equipment). In case of queries, please contact the municipal authorities responsible for waste disposal in your area.

Inserting battery

• Remove the battery cover (left side of the unit).

• Insert two 1.5 V micro batteries (alkaline, type LR 03). Make absolutely sure that you insert the batteries with the correct polarity as marked. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

• Replace the battery cover carefully.

If the change battery icon is displayed, measurement is no longer possible and you must replace all the batteries.

Used batteries do not belong in the household waste. You are legally obliged to dispose of the batteries. Dispose of them via your specialist electrical supplier or local collec ting point for recyclable waste.

Note: You will find these markings on batteries containing harmful substances: Pb = battery containing lead, Cd = battery containing cadmium, Hg = battery containing mercury.

Setting date and time

It is vital to set date and time. Only in this way is it possible to save and subsequently retrieve your measured values with the right date and time. Time is shown in 24 hour format.

Note: If you hold down SET, you can set the values faster.

• Press MODE The month starts flashing. Using the SET button, set the month 1 to 12 and confirm with MODE

• Set the day, hour and minute and confirm in each case with MODE.

5. Measuring blood pressure

Positioning cuff

• Bare your left wrist, making sure that the circulation in the arm is not restricted by any clothes etc. that are too tight.

Position the cuff on the inside of your wrist.

• Fasten the cuff with the Velcro fastening so that the upper edge of the monitor is positioned approx. 1 cm below the ball of your thumb.

• The cuff has to be fitted tightly around the wrist but should not constrict it.

Important: The instrument should only be operated with the original cuff.

Correct posture

• Rest for approx. 5 minutes before each measurement.

Otherwise there may be divergences.

• You can perform the measurement either sitting or lying down. It is essential to support your arm and have it at an angle. Always make sure

Otherwise there may be serious divergences. Relax your arm and the palms of your hands.

• In order not to distort the result, it is important to keep still during the measurement and not talk.

Measuring blood pressure

• Switch on the blood pressure monitor with the START/

STOP button.

• Using the SET button, select the user memory No. 1,

No. 2 or No. 3.

On successful measurement, results are automatically stored in the selected user memory. You can also use the different user memories to save measurement results separately, e.g. in the morning, afternoon and evening.

• Start the measurement process by pressing START/STOP button. The cuff is pumped up to 195 mmHg. Cuff air pressure is released slowly.

If a tendency towards high blood pressure is already detectable, the cuff is pumped up again and cuff pressure increased further. As soon as a heart rate is detected, the heart rate symbol is displayed.

• Heart rate, systolic and diastolic blood pressure are displayed.

• You can interrupt measurement at any time by pressing the START/STOP button.

• The icon appears if it has not been possible to perform the measurement properly.

Observe the section in these instructions on error messages/troubleshooting and repeat the measurement.

Evaluating results

Cardiac arrhythmia:

This instrument can identify possible cardiac arrhythmia disorders during measurement and if necessary indicates the measurement with the flashing icon .

This may be an indicator for arrhythmia. Arrhythmia is a condition where the heart rhythm is abnormal as a result of defects in the bioelectrical system controlling the heart beat.

The bar graph in the display and the scale on the unit indicate the range of the blood pressure which has been recorded.

If the values for systolic and diastolic pressure are in two different WHO ranges (e.g. systolic in the high-normal range and

The symptoms (omitted or premature heart beats, slow or excessively fast heart rate) may be caused, among other things, by heart disease, age, physical predisposition, excessive use of stimulants, stress or lack of sleep. Arrhythmia can only be ascertained through examination by your doctor.

Repeat the measurement if the flashing icon is displayed after the measurement. Please note that you should rest for 5 minutes between measurements and not talk or move during the measurement. If the icon appears often, please contact your doctor. Any self-diagnosis and treatment based on the test results may be dangerous. It is vital to follow your doctor‘s instructions.

6. Saving, retrieving and deleting results

• The results of each successful measurement are stored together with date and time. With more than 30 items of measured data, the earliest items of data measured are lost.

• In order to retrieve measurement results again, press the memory button “M”. Use the SET button to select the required user memory and press the memory button “M”.

Initially, the average value of all stored results in this user memory is first displayed (display “A”).

If you continue pressing the memory button “M”, the last results in each case are measured are displayed with date, time and graphic WHO classification.

With the individual stored results, warning limits and individual stored results are also displayed alternately, without pressing any other buttons.

• After pressing the memory button “M” and selecting the user, you can clear the memory by holding down the

MODE and SET buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds.

7. Error messages/troubleshooting

In case of faults, the message appears in the display.

Error messages can occur when

1. inflation pressure is higher than 300 mmHg,

2. blood pressure is unusually high or low,

3. you move or talk during the measurement (in addition to display),

, the cardiac arrhythmia icon appears in the

4. the cuff tube is not inserted properly,

5. the cuff is inflated for longer than 16 seconds.

In the above cases, you must repeat the measurement.

Make sure that the cuff tube is properly inserted and that you do not move or talk. Re-insert the batteries if necessary, or else replace them.

8. Cleaning and Care

• Clean your blood pressure computer carefully using only a slightly moistened cloth.

• Do not use any detergents or solvents.

• Never hold the instrument under water as otherwise liquid can penetrate and damage the instrument.

• Never place any heavy objects on the instrument.

10. Warranty / Service centre

We provide a 3-year warranty covering faults in materials or manufacture of the product from the purchase date.

The warranty does not cover:

• Damage resulting from improper use.

• Wear parts.

• Defects that were known to the customer at the time of purchase.

• Damage for which the customer was responsible.

This warranty does not affect the customer‘s legal rights.

The customer must provide proof of purchase in order for any warranty claims within the warranty period to be honoured.

Claims under the warranty within a period of 3 years from the date of purchase are honoured by

2. Σημαντικές υποδείξεις

Υποδείξεις για την εφαρμογή

• Οι υπολογισμένες από εσάς τιμές μέτρησης χρησιμεύουν

μόνο για την ενημέρωσή σας – αυτές δεν αντικαθιστούν

τις ιατρικές εξετάσεις! Συζητήστε τις τιμές μέτρησης με το

γιατρό σας, σε καμιά περίπτωση δεν λαμβάνετε μόνοι σας

με βάση τις μετρήσεις αυτές ιατρικές αποφάσεις (π. χ. για

φάρμακα και τη δοσολογία τους)!

• Σε περίπτωση περιορισμού της αιμάτωσης στο χέρι λόγω

χρόνιων ή οξειών ασθενειών των αγγείων (μεταξύ άλλων

στενώσεις των αγγείων), είναι περιορισμένη η ακρίβεια

μέτρησης της πίεσης στον καρπό. Στην περίπτωση αυτή

• Σε περίπτωση ασθενειών στο σύστημα καρδιά-κυκλοφορία

του αίματος μπορούν να προκύψουν λανθασμένες

μετρήσεις, επίσης σε πολύ χαμηλή πίεση, σε διαταραχές

αιμάτωσης και διαταραχές του ρυθμού λειτουργίας της

καρδιάς καθώς επίσης και σε άλλες ασθένειες.

• Χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή μόνο σε άτομα με την

αναφερόμενη για τη συσκευή περίμετρο του καρπού.

• Μπορείτε να χρησιμοποιήσετε το πιεσόμετρο μόνο με

μπαταρίες. Πρέπει να γνωρίζετε, ότι η αποθήκευση

δεδομένων είναι εφικτή μόνο όταν το πιεσόμετρό σας

λαμβάνει ρεύμα από τις μπαταρίες. Μόλις παλιώσουν

οι μπαταρίες, στο πιεσόμετρό σας χάνεται η ένδειξη

ημερομηνίας και ώρας. οι αποθηκευμένες τιμές μέτρησης

παραμένουν όμως στη συσκευή.

• Ο αυτοματισμός απενεργοποίησης απενεργοποιεί το

πιεσόμετρο για την προστασία των μπαταριών, εάν μέσα

στο διάστημα ενός λεπτού δεν πατηθεί κανένα πλήκτρο.

Υποδείξεις για τη φύλαξη και τη φροντίδα

• Το πιεσόμετρο αποτελείται από ηλεκτρονικά

κατασκευαστικά τμήματα ακριβείας. Η ακρίβεια των τιμών

μέτρησης και η διάρκεια ζωής της συσκευής εξαρτώνται

από την προσεκτική μεταχείριση:

– Προστατεύετε τη συσκευή από κτυπήματα, υγρασία,

βρομιά, υψηλές διακυμάνσεις θερμοκρασίας και άμεση

ηλιακή ακτινοβολία.

– Μην αφήσετε τη συσκευή να πέσει κάτω.

– Μη χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή κοντά σε ισχυρά

ηλεκτρομαγνητικά πεδία, να βρίσκεστε μακριά από

κεραίες ή κινητά τηλέφωνα.

– Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνο τα εμπεριεχόμενα ή αυθεντικά

ανταλλακτικά περικάρπια. Διαφορετικά οι τιμές

μέτρησης είναι λανθασμένες.

• Μην πατάτε επάνω στα πλήκτρα, πριν τοποθετήσετε το

περικάρπιο.

• Σε περίπτωση που δεν χρησιμοποιείτε τη συσκευή για

μεγαλύτερο χρονικό διάστημα, συνιστούμε να αφαιρέσετε

προηγουμένως τις μπαταρίες.

Υποδείξεις για τις μπαταρίες

• Οι μπαταρίες σε περίπτωση κατάποσης αποτελούν

κίνδυνο θανάτου. Για το λόγο αυτό φυλάσσετε τις

μπαταρίες και τα προϊόντα σε μέρος που τα μικρά παιδιά

δεν έχουν πρόσβαση. Σε περίπτωση κατάποσης μιας

μπαταρίας, πρέπει να ζητήσετε αμέσως ιατρική βοήθεια.

• Οι μπαταρίες δεν επιτρέπεται να φορτιστούν ή να

ενεργοποιηθούν εκ νέου με άλλα μέσα, δεν επιτρέπεται να

ανοιχτούν, να πεταχτούν στη φωτιά ή να βραχυκυκλωθούν.

• Αφαιρείτε τις μπαταρίες από τη συσκευή, εάν έχουν

παλιώσει ή εάν δεν πρόκειται να χρησιμοποιήσετε τη

συσκευή για μεγαλύτερο χρονικό διάστημα. Με τον τρόπο

αυτό αποφεύγετε ζημιές, οι οποίες θα μπορούσαν να

προκληθούν από τη διαρροή υγρών των μπαταριών.

Αντικαθιστάτε πάντα ταυτόχρονα όλες τις μπαταρίες.

• Μη χρησιμοποιείτε ταυτόχρονα μπαταρίες διαφορετικού

τύπου, διαφορετικές μάρκες ή μπαταρίες με διαφορετικό

επίπεδο φόρτισης. χρησιμοποιείτε κατά προτίμηση

αλκαλικές μπαταρίες.

Υποδείξεις για την επισκευή και απορριμματική

διαχείριση

• Οι μπαταρίες δεν επιτρέπεται να πετιούνται στα οικιακά

απορρίμματα. Παρακαλείσθε να παραδίδετε τις παλιές

μπαταρίες στα προβλεπόμενα για το σκοπό αυτό σημεία

συλλογής.

• Μην ανοίγετε τη συσκευή. Σε περίπτωση μη τήρησης

παύει να ισχύει η εγγύηση.

• Δεν επιτρέπεται να επισκευάσετε ή να ρυθμίσετε οι ίδιοι

τη συσκευή. Στην περίπτωση αυτή δεν μπορούμε πλέον να

εγγυηθούμε για την άψογη λειτουργία.

• Οι επισκευές επιτρέπεται να εκτελούνται μόνο από το

τμήμα τεχνικής υποστήριξης πελατών ή από

εξουσιοδοτημένα καταστήματα. Ελέγχετε όμως πριν από

κάθε διαμαρτυρία πρώτα τις μπαταρίες και τις

αντικαθιστάτε κατά περίπτωση.

• Παρακαλείσθε να εκτελείτε την απορριμματική

διαχείριση της συσκευής σύμφωνα με τη διάταξη

για παλιές ηλεκτρικές και ηλεκτρονικές συσκευές

2002/96/EC–WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic

Equipment). Σε περίπτωση που έχετε ερωτήσεις όσον

αφορά την απορριμματική διαχείριση παρακαλείσθε να έρθετε σ’ επαφή με την αρμόδια δημοτική υπηρεσία.

4. Προετοιμάζετε μέτρηση

Τοποθετείτε μπαταρίες

• Αφαιρείτε το καπάκι της θήκης μπαταριών στην αριστερή

πλευρά της συσκευής.

• Τοποθετείτε δύο μπαταρίες του τύπου 1,5 V Micro

(αλκαλικές Type LR 03). Προσέχετε οπωσδήποτε, ώστε

οι μπαταρίες να τοποθετούνται σύμφωνα με τη σήμανση

συνδέοντας σωστά τους πόλους. Μη χρησιμοποιείτε

επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες.

• Κλείνετε πάλι με προσοχή το καπάκι της θήκης μπαταριών.

Όταν εμφανίζεται το σύμβολο αλλαγής των μπαταριών

, δεν είναι πλέον εφικτή καμιά μέτρηση και πρέπει να

αλλάξετε όλες τις μπαταρίες.

Ο νόμος σας υποχρεώνει να αποσύρετε τις μπαταρίες φιλικά

προς το περιβάλλον. Παραδώστε τις μπαταρίες για απόσυρση

στα καταστήματα πώλησης ηλεκτρικών ειδών ή στους κατά

τόπους συγκέντρωσης υλικών προς απόσυρση.

Υπόδειξη: Τα ακόλουθα σύμβολα θα βρείτε σε

μπαταρίες που περιέχουν βλαβερές ουσίες:

Pb = η μπαταρία περιέχει μόλυβδο,

Cd = η μπαταρία περιέχει κάδμιο,

Hg = η μπαταρία περιέχει υδράργυρο.

Ρυθμίζετε ημερομηνία και ώρα

Πρέπει να ρυθμίσετε οπωσδήποτε την ημερομηνία και την ώρα.

Μόνο έτσι μπορείτε να αποθηκεύσετε τις τιμές μέτρησης σωστά

με ημερομηνία και ώρα και να τις ανακαλέσετε αργότερα.

Η ώρα απεικονίζεται με τη μορφή ένδειξης 24 ωρών.

Υπόδειξη: Εάν κρατάτε πατημένο το πλήκτρο SET, μπορείτε

επιβεβαιώνετε κάθε φορά με το MODE.

5. Μετράτε την αρτηριακή πίεση

Τοποθετείτε περικάρπιο

• Ξεγυμνώνετε τον αριστερό σας καρπό. Προσέχετε, ώστε

η αιμάτωση στο χέρι να μην περιορίζεται από πολύ στενά

ρούχα ή ανάλογα αντικείμενα. Τοποθετείτε το περικάρπιο

με τη συσκευή στην εσωτερική πλευρά του καρπού σας.

• Κλείνετε το περικάρπιο με το αυτοκόλλητο κούμπωμα, έτσι ώστε η επάνω ακμή της συσκευής να βρίσκεται περ. σε

απόσταση 1 cm από την παλάμη.

• Το περικάρπιο πρέπει να εφαρμόζει στενά γύρω από τον

καρπό, δεν επιτρέπεται όμως να σφίγγει.

Προσοχή: Η συσκευή επιτρέπεται να τεθεί σε λειτουργία

μόνο με τα αυθεντικά περικάρπια.

Λαμβάνετε σωστή στάση του σώματος

• Πριν από κάθε μέτρηση να βρίσκεστε σε ηρεμία για περ.

5 λεπτά! Διαφορετικά μπορούν να προκύψουν αποκλίσεις.

• Μπορείτε να εκτελέσετε τη μέτρηση

καθιστοί ή ξαπλωμένοι. Στηρίζετε

οπωσδήποτε το χέρι και σχηματίζετε με

αυτό μια γωνία. Προσέχετε οπωσδήποτε,

το περικάρπιο να βρίσκεται στο ύψος

της καρδιάς. Διαφορετικά μπορούν να

προκύψουν σημαντικές αποκλίσεις. χαλαρώνετε το χέρι και

την επιφάνεια της παλάμης.

• Για να μην αλλοιωθεί το αποτέλεσμα της μέτρησης, είναι

σημαντικό, να είστε ήρεμοι κατά τη διάρκεια της μέτρησης

και να μη μιλάτε.

Εκτελείτε μέτρησης της πίεσης

• Ενεργοποιείτε το πιεσόμετρο με το πλήκτρο START/STOP.

• Επιλέγετε με το πλήκτρο SET τη μνήμη χρήστη No. 1,

No. 2 ή No. 3. Τα αποτελέσματα της μέτρησης μετά την

εκτέλεση της μέτρησης αποθηκεύονται αυτόματα στην

επιλεγμένη μνήμη χρήστη. Εναλλακτικά μπορείτε επίσης να

χρησιμοποιήσετε τις διαφορετικές μνήμες χρήστη, για να

αποθηκεύσετε ξεχωριστά μεταξύ τους τις μετρήσεις από το

πρωί, το μεσημέρι και το βράδυ.

• Ξεκινάτε τη διαδικασία μέτρησης με το πάτημα του

πλήκτρου START/STOP. Το περικάρπιο φουσκώνεται στα

195 mmHg. Η πίεση αέρα στο περικάρπιο εκκενώνεται

αργά. Σε περίπτωση που αναγνωριστεί ήδη μια τάση με

πολύ υψηλή πίεση φουσκώνεται πρόσθετα ακόμα μια φορά

και η πίεση στο περικάρπιο αυξάνεται ακόμα μια φορά.

Μόλις αναγνωριστεί ο καρδιακός παλμός, απεικονίζεται το

σύμβολο καρδιακού παλμού .

• Απεικονίζονται τα αποτελέσματα της μέτρησης για τη

συστολική πίεση, τη διαστολική πίεση και τους καρδιακούς

παλμούς.

• Μπορείτε να διακόψετε τη μέτρηση ανά πάσα στιγμή με το

πάτημα του πλήκτρου START/STOP.

• Το σύμβολο εμφανίζεται όταν η μέτρηση δεν

μπόρεσε να εκτελεστεί κανονικά. Διαβάζετε το κεφάλαιο

μήνυμα σφάλματος/αποκατάσταση σφάλματος σε αυτές

τις οδηγίες λειτουργίας και επαναλαμβάνετε τη μέτρηση.

Εκτιμάτε αποτελέσματα

Διαταραχές ρυθμού λειτουργίας καρδιάς:

Η συσκευή αυτή μπορεί να αναγνωρίσει κατά τη μέτρηση

πιθανές διαταραχές στο ρυθμό λειτουργίας της καρδιάς και το

επισημαίνει αυτό μετά τη μέτρηση με το σύμβολο .

Αυτό μπορεί να αποτελέσει ένδειξη για μια αρρυθμία.

Αρρυθμία είναι μια ασθένεια, κατά την οποία ο ρυθμός της

καρδιάς λόγω λαθών στο βιοηλεκτρικό σύστημα, το οποίο

ελέγχει τους κτύπους της καρδιάς, δεν είναι κανονικός. Τα

συμπτώματα (παράλειψη κτύπων ή πρόωροι κτύποι καρδιάς,

αργός ή γρήγορος καρδιακός παλμός) μπορούν να έχουν

ως αιτία μ. ά. ασθένειες της καρδιάς, ηλικία, σωματική

προδιάθεση, υπερβολική κατανάλωση αλκοόλ, καφέ,

τσιγάρου, στρες ή έλλειψη ύπνου. Μια αρρυθμία μπορεί να

διαπιστωθεί με μια εξέταση από το γιατρό σας.

Επαναλαμβάνετε τη μέτρηση, όταν το σύμβολο εμφανιστεί

μετά τη μέτρηση επάνω στην οθόνη. Παρακαλείσθε να

προσέχετε, ότι πρέπει να ηρεμήσετε προηγουμένως για

5 λεπτά και κατά τη διάρκεια της μέτρησης δεν επιτρέπεται να

μιλάτε ή να κινήστε. Εάν το σύμβολο εμφανίζεται συχνά,

παρακαλείσθε να απευθυνθείτε στο γιατρό σας. Το να κάνετε

οι ίδιοι διάγνωση και θεραπεία με βάση τα αποτελέσματα

των μετρήσεων μπορεί να αποβεί επικίνδυνο. Ακολουθείτε

οπωσδήποτε τις οδηγίες του γιατρού σας.

Ταξινόμηση ΠοΥ:

Σύμφωνα με τις οδηγίες/τους ορισμούς της παγκόσμιας

οργάνωσης υγείας (ΠοΥ) και της σύγχρονης ιατρικής γνώσης

τα αποτελέσματα της μέτρησης μπορούν να ταξινομηθούν και

να εκτιμηθούν σύμφωνα με τον ακόλουθο πίνακα.

Η γραφική απεικόνιση ράβδων στην οθόνη και η κλίμακα

επάνω στη συσκευή δείχνουν σε ποια περιοχή βρίσκεται η

μετρημένη πίεση.

Εάν οι τιμές για τη συστολική και τη διαστολική πίεση

βρίσκονται σε δύο διαφορετικές περιοχές της ταξινόμησης

της ΠοΥ (π. χ. η συστολική στην υψηλή φυσιολογική και

η διαστολική στην φυσιολογική περιοχή) τότε η γραφική

ταξινόμηση της ΠοΥ επάνω στη συσκευή δείχνει πάντα την

υψηλότερη περιοχή, στο παράδειγμά μας „Υψηλή φυσιολογική“.

6. Αποθηκεύετε, ανακαλείτε και διαγράφετε

τιμές μέτρησης

• Τα αποτελέσματα κάθε πετυχημένης μέτρησης

αποθηκεύονται μαζί με την ημερομηνία και την ώρα. Σε

περίπτωση περισσοτέρων από 30 δεδομένων μέτρησης τα

παλαιότερα στοιχεία διαγράφονται κάθε φορά.

• Για να ανακαλέσετε πάλι τα αποτελέσματα των μετρήσεων

πατάτε το πλήκτρο μνήμης „M“. Επιλέγετε με το SET

την επιθυμητή μνήμη χρήστη και πιέζετε το πλήκτρο

μνήμης „M“. Καταρχήν απεικονίζεται η μέση τιμή όλων των

αποθηκευμένων τιμών μέτρησης αυτής της μνήμης χρήστη

(Ένδειξη „A“). Με το πάτημα ακόμα μια φορά του πλήκτρου

μνήμης „M“ απεικονίζονται οι εκάστοτε τελευταίες

τιμές μέτρησης με ημερομηνία και ώρα και γραφική

ταξινόμηση ΠοΥ. Επίσης και στις μεμονωμένες τιμές μνήμης

απεικονίζονται χωρίς πρόσθετο πάτημα πλήκτρων τα όρια

προειδοποίησης και οι μεμονωμένες τιμές μνήμης εναλλάξ.

• Μπορείτε να διαγράψετε το περιεχόμενο της μνήμης με

το να πατήσετε, μετά το πάτημα του πλήκτρου „M“ και

μετά την επιλογή του χρήστη, τα πλήκτρα MODE και SET

ταυτόχρονα για 5 δευτερόλεπτα.

7. Μήνυμα σφάλματος/αποκατάσταση

σφάλματος

Σε περίπτωση σφαλμάτων εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη το μήνυμα

σφάλματος .

Μπορούν να εμφανιστούν μηνύματα σφάλματος, όταν

1. η πίεση φουσκώματος είναι ψηλότερη από 300 mmHg,

2. η τιμή της πίεσης του αίματος είναι ασυνήθιστα ψηλή ή

χαμηλή,

3. κατά τη διάρκεια της μέτρησης κινείστε ή μιλάτε (εκτός

από το επάνω στην οθόνη εμφανίζεται το

σύμβολο του ρυθμού λειτουργίας της καρδιάς ),

4. το λάστιχο του περικάρπιου δεν είναι τοποθετημένο κανονικά,

5. το φούσκωμα διαρκεί περισσότερο από 16 δευτερόλεπτα.

Στις περιπτώσεις αυτές επαναλαμβάνετε τη μέτρηση.

Προσέχετε, ώστε το λάστιχο του περικάρπιου να είναι

τοποθετημένο κανονικά και εσείς να μην κινείστε και να μη

μιλάτε. Τοποθετείτε κατά περίπτωση νέες μπαταρίες.

8. Καθαρισμός και φροντίδα

• Καθαρίζετε το πιεσόμετρό σας προσεκτικά μόνο με ένα

ελαφρώς υγρό πανί.

• Δεν χρησιμοποιείτε απορρυπαντικά ή διαλυτικές ουσίες!

• Δεν επιτρέπεται σε καμιά περίπτωση να βυθίσετε τη

συσκευή στο νερό, διότι διαφορετικά μπορεί να εισχωρήσει

υγρασία και να καταστρέψει τη συσκευή.

• Μην τοποθετείτε βαριά αντικείμενα επάνω στη συσκευή.

10. Εγγύηση / Σέρβις

1. Familiarizar-se com o aparelho

O medidor de tensão arterial para o pulso serve para a medi-

ção não invasiva e para o controlo de valores da tensão arterial de adultos.

Com ele pode medir rápida e facilmente a sua tensão arterial, memorizar os valores medidos e fazer com que o historial dos valores de medição seja exibido. Além disso, será avisado em caso de existência de perturbações do ritmo cardíaco.

Os valores medidos são classificados de acordo com as normas da OMS e são avaliados graficamente.

Guarde este manual de instruções para a sua posterior utilização e faculte-o também a outros utilizadores.

2. Informações importantes

Informações para uma aplicação correcta

• Meça a sua tensão arterial sempre à mesma hora para garantir que os valores possam ser comparados.

• Antes de realizar uma medição, descanse cerca de

5 minutos!

• Deve aguardar 5 minutos entre duas medições!

• Os valores por si medidos só devem servir para a sua informação – não substituem qualquer exame médico!

Converse com o médico sobre os valores da medição, em caso algum deve tomar decisões médicas próprias com base neles (por ex. medicamentos e as suas dosagens)!

• Em caso de circulação sanguínea limitada num braço devido a doenças coronárias crónicas ou agudas (entre elas estreitamento de artérias), a exactidão da medição da tensão arterial no pulso fica limitada.

Neste caso, utilize um medidor para a parte superior do braço.

• Em caso de doenças do sistema cardiocirculatório, podem ocorrer medições erradas, assim como em caso de tensão arterial demasiado baixa, perturbações circulatórias e arritmias cardíacas, assim como na presença de doenças antecedentes.

• Utilize o aparelho somente em pessoas com uma medida de pulso corresponde à indicada para o aparelho.

• Este aparelho só pode funcionar com pilhas. Tenha em atenção que a memorização dos dados só é possível quando o medidor da tensão arterial recebe corrente.

Quando as pilhas se gastam, o medidor de tensão arterial perde a data e hora. No entanto, os valores medidos mantêm-se na memória.

• O sistema de corte automático desliga o aparelho automaticamente para poupar as pilhas, se nenhuma tecla for premida durante um minuto.

Instruções de armazenamento e cuidados

• O medidor de tensão arterial é composto por componentes de precisão e electrónicos. A exactidão dos valores medidos e a durabilidade do aparelho dependem de um tratamento cuidadoso:

– Proteja o aparelho de choques, da humidade, de sujidades, de variações fortes da temperatura e de radiações solares directas.

– Não deixe cair o aparelho ao chão.

– Não use o aparelho na proximidade directa de campos electromagnéticos fortes, mantenha-o afastado de instalações de rádio ou telemóveis.

– Use apenas a pulseira fornecida ou uma pulseira de substituição original, sob pena de obter valores medidos errados.

• Não prima nenhuma tecla, sem ter a pulseira colocada.

• Se não utilizar o aparelho durante um período mais prolongado, é recomendável retirar as pilhas do compartimento.

Informações sobre as pilhas

• As pilhas, quando ingeridas, podem causar perigo de vida. Por isso, guarde as pilhas e os produtos fora do alcance das crianças pequenas. No caso de ingestão de uma pilha, procure imediatamente ajuda médica.

• É proibido carregar ou reactivar as pilhas por outros meios, bem com desmontá-las, deitá-las no fogo ou curto-circuitá-las.

• Tire as pilhas do equipamento, quando estas estiverem gastas ou quando deixar de o utilizar por um período mais prolongado. Evitará assim danos que podem surgir devido

à fuga do líquido. Substitua sempre todas as pilhas ao mesmo tempo.

• Não utilize diferentes tipos de pilhas, de marcas diferentes ou pilhas com voltagens diferentes. Utilize de preferência pilhas alcalinas.

Informações sobre a reparação e a eliminação

• As pilhas não pertencem ao lixo doméstico. Por favor, entregue as pilhas vazias num ponto de recolha destinado para o efeito.

• Não abra o aparelho. A não observância faz extinguir a garantia.

• É proibido realizar reparações e aferições arbitrárias.

Neste caso, deixa de se garantir um funcionamen-to perfeito dos aparelhos.

• As reparações só podem ser realizadas pelo serviço de assistência técnica ou por comerciantes autorizados.

Antes de fazer qualquer reclamação, verifique primeiro as pilhas e proceda, quando necessário, à sua substituição.

4. Preparar a medição

Inserir a pilha

• Tire a tampa do compartimento da pilha no lado esquerdo do aparelho.

• Insira duas pilhas do tipo 1,5 V micro (tipo alcalino LR 03).

Preste impreterivelmente atenção a uma polaridade correcta; esta está indicada no compartimento. Não use pilhas recarregáveis.

• Volte a fechar bem a tampa do compartimento da pilha.

Quando o símbolo de troca de pilhas surge, já não

é possível realizar medições, e todas as pilhas têm de ser trocadas.

Para dar o tratamento ecológico correcto às pilhas e aos acumuladores gastos ou totalmente descarregados, estes devem ser introduzidos nos respectivos recipientes identificados para o efeito ou entregues nos locais de recepção de resíduos especiais ou numa loja de electrodomésticos. Existe uma obrigação legal de dar um tratamento ecológico às pilhas.

Indicação: Vocé encontra os symbolos seguintes nas pilhas contendo substâncias nocivas:

Pb = a pilha contém chumbo, Cd = a pilha contém cádmio, Hg = a pilha contém mercurio.

Ajustar a hora e a data

Deve impreterivelmente acertar a hora e a data. Só assim pode memorizar correctamente os valores medidos com data e hora e fazer exibi-los mais tarde.

A hora é indicada no formato de 24 horas.

Nota: Se mantiver a tecla SET premida, pode ajustar os valores mais rapidamente.

• Prima a tecla MODE. O mês começa a piscar. Com a tecla

SET acerte o mês 1 a 12 e confirme com a tecla MODE.

• Ajuste o dia, as horas e os minutos e confirme cada vez com a tecla MODE.

5. Medir a tensão arterial

Aplicar a pulseira

• Descubra o seu pulso esquerdo. Preste atenção para que a circulação do sangue no braço não fique comprimida por peças de vestuário demasiado apertadas ou algo semelhante. Aplique a pulseira em volta do lado interior do pulso.

• Feche a pulseira com o fecho velcro, de modo que a orla superior do aparelho fique aprox. 1 cm abaixo do tenar.

• A pulseira tem de ficar apertada em torno do pulso, mas não demasiado apertada de modo que deixe marca.

Atenção: O aparelho só pode ser usada com a pulseira original.

Manter a postura correcta

• Antes de realizar uma medição, descanse cerca de

5 minutos! Caso contrário, podem ocorrer desvios de medição.

• Poderá realizar a medição em posi-

ção sentada ou deitada. Apoie impreterivelmente o braço e dobre-o.

Preste atenção para que a pulseira fique ao nível do coração. Caso contrário, podem ocorrer diferenças

• • • • • • • • • • • • • acentuadas. Descontraia o braço e as palmas das mãos.

• Para não alterar o resultado da medição, é importante manter-se calmo e não falar durante a medição.

Efectuar a medição

• Ligue o medidor de tensão arterial com a tecla START/

STOP.

• Com a tecla SET seleccione a memória do utilizador

No. 1, No. 2 ou No. 3.

Os resultados medidos encontram-se automaticamente guardados na memória de utilizador seleccionada. Como alternativa, também poderá usar as diferentes memórias de utilizador para guardar separadamente os valores medidos de manhã, à tarde e à noite.

• Inicie o procedimento de medição premindo a tecla

START/STOP. A pulseira é enchida até 195 mmHg. A pressão do ar da pulseira desce lentamente.

Em caso de reconhecimento da tendência para uma tensão arterial demasiado alta, é novamente insuflado ar e a pressão da pulseira aumenta novamente. Assim que é identificada uma pulsação, é exibido o símbolo da pulsação.

• São exibidos depois os resultados da medição, da tensão sistólica, da tensão diastólica e da pulsação.

• Pode interromper a qualquer momento a medição premindo a tecla START/STOP.

• O símbolo é exibido, quando a medição não tiver sido efectuada correctamente. Preste atenção ao capítulo

„Mensagem de erro/Eliminação de erros“ neste manual de instruções e repita a medição.

Avaliar os resultados

Perturbações do ritmo cardíaco:

Durante a medição, este aparelho pode identificar eventuais perturbações do ritmo cardíaco e, se for o caso, chama a atenção para tal depois da medição com o símbolo .

Isto pode ser um indicador de uma arritmia. Arritmia é uma doença em que o ritmo cardíaco é anormal devido a erros/ falhas no sistema bioeléctrico que controla o batimento do coração. Os sintomas (falhas no batimento do coração ou batimentos precoces, pulsação mais lenta ou mais rápida) podem ser indicativos, entre outros, de doenças cardíacas, idade, hereditariedade, consumo de tabaco ou álcool em demasia, stress ou falta de sono. A arritmia só pode ser detectada por um médico.

Repita a medição, se o símbolo for exibido no mostrador após a medição. Tenho cuidado em descansar durante

5 minutos e não falar ou mover-se durante a medição. Se o símbolo aparecer muitas vezes, queira consultar um médico. Um auto-diagnóstico e auto-tratamento na sequência dos resultados das medições podem ser perigosos. Siga impreterivelmente as ordens do seu médico.

O gráfico de barras exibido no mostrador e a escala no aparelho indicam em que intervalo se encontra a tensão arterial medida.

Se os valores da sístole e da diástole se encontrarem em dois intervalos diferentes da OMS (por ex., sístole no intervalo „Alta normal“ e diástole no intervalo „Normal“), então a classificação gráfica da OMS mostra-lhe no aparelho sempre o intervalo mais elevado, ou seja, no exemplo descrito „Alta Normal“.

6. Memorizar, ler e apagar valores de medição

• Os resultados de cada medição bem sucedida são memorizados juntamente com a data e a hora. Se existirem mais de

30 dados medidos, os dados mais antigos são sobrescritos.

• Para ler os resultados de medição memorizados, prima a tecla de memória „M“. Com SET seleccione a memória do utilizador pretendido e prima a tecla de memória „M“. Em primeiro lugar é exibido o valor médio de todos os valores memorizados nesta memória de utilizador (indicação „A“).

Mediante a pressão da tecla de memória „M“ são exibidos os últimos valores medidos, com a data, hora e classifica-

ção gráfica da OMS.

Também em caso de valores memorizados individuais, são exibidos alternadamente os valores de aviso e os valores de memorizados individuais, sem ser necessário premir adicionalmente qualquer outra tecla.

• Pode apagar a memória, após premir a tecla de memória

„M“ e após ter seleccionado o utilizador, mantendo premidas simultaneamente as teclas MODE e SET durante

5 segundos.

7. Mensagem de erro / Eliminação de erros

Em caso de erros, é exibido a mensagem de erro mostrador. Podem ocorrer mensagens de erro, quando

no

1. a pressão de insuflação for superior a 300 mmHg,

2. o valor medido da tensão arterial for excessivamente alto ou baixo,

3. se mover ou falar durante a medição (juntamente com a mensagem é também exibido no mostrador o símbolo de ritmo cardíaco ),

4. o tubo da pulseira não estiver correctamente inserido no aparelho,

5. a insuflação durar mais de 16 segundos.

Nestes casos, repita a medição. Certifique-se que o tubo da pulseira está correctamente ligado e que você não se mexe e não fala. Caso necessário, volte a inserir as pilhas ou substitua-as.

8. Limpeza e cuidados

• Limpe o computador da tensão arterial cuidadosamente apenas com um pano ligeiramente húmido.

• Não use produtos de limpeza ou dissolventes.

• Não deve, em caso algum, colocar o aparelho debaixo de

água, sob pena de poder penetrar água e danificar o aparelho.

• Não coloque objectos pesados sobre o equipamento.
