SAFETY FIRST!

For your continued safety and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock, please follow all the safety precautions listed below.

• The outer foil is very thin. If handled improperly, it can be easily damaged. To avoid personal injury, do not use the shaver if it has a damaged foil or inner cutter.

• Both the foil and the blade have a limited service life. To keep a better result, we suggest you to replace the outer foil and the inner cutter at regular intervals.

• This shaver is only to be used in dry conditions.

• Clean the shaver’s body by using a cloth dampened with soapy water.

• Do not forget to turn off the shaver to prevent depleting the batteries life.

• If the shaver is not working properly, have it inspected by the dealer or an authorized service center.

• Always use your shaver for its intended use, as described in this manual.

• Please make sure that the old batteries are disposed of at an officially assigned location.

We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order to fully understand all the operational features it offers.

Read all the safety instructions carefully before use and keep this instruction manual for future reference.

UNPACKING

Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

INSTALLING BATTERIES

1. Put the protective cap on the shaver (to prevent damage to the outer foil).

2. Open the battery cover in the direction of the arrow, insert two AA batteries into the battery slot following the polarity indicators inside. Reattach the battery cover.

3. Do not combine an old battery with a new one, or use different types of batteries together.

4. If the shaver will not be used for a long period of time, please remove the batteries.

FIRST TIME USE

The shaver requires a little time to get used to, because your skin and beard need about a month to adjust to any new shaving method.

Handling the Batteries

• Improper or incorrect use of batteries may cause corrosion or battery leakage, which could cause fire, personal injury or damage to property.

• Use only the types of the batteries which are indicated in this manual.

• When the batteries are exhausted, the shaver will not function. Replace both batteries at the same time with new ones.

• Do not install new batteries with used ones and do not mix different types of batteries.

• Do not dispose of used batteries as domestic waste. Dispose of them in accordance with local regulations.

OPERATION

1. Remove the protective cap.

2. Press the lock release button to unlock the power switch. Then switch on the shaver on by pushing the switch upwards.

3. Hold the shaver at a right angle (90º) to your skin. Start shaving by applying gentle pressure to your face.

Stretch your skin with your free hand, move the shaver back and forth in the direction of your beard. You may gently increase the amount of pressure as your skin becomes accustomed to this shaving method.

Applying excessive pressure will not provide a closer shave.

4. Switch the shaver off by pushing the switch downwards.

5. To prevent damage to the foil and inner cutter, replace the protective cap every time you have finished using the shaver.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Switch off the shaver.

2. Push the foil frame release button and detach the foil frame as shown.

Becareful of the blades as they are sharp.

3. Grasp inner cutter firmly at each side, and pull straight up.

4. Clean away the clippings with the cleaning brush provided.

5. Reassemble the shaver parts in the reverse order.

MAINTENANING THE CUTTING SYSTEM

1. It is recommended that you replace the outer foil at least every year and the inner cutter ar least every two years to maintain your shaver’s cutting performance.

2. Turn the shaver off before replacing the outer foil and the inner cutter.

3. Remove the batteries from the compartment.

• Replacing the outer foil :

Squeeze the foil frame release button and lift the outer foil block upwards to remove it. Remove the outer foil from the frame by slipping it off the hooks. Slip the new outer foil into the frame with the plastic edge facing inward. Guide the plastic edges onto the hooks in the frame.

• Replacing the inner cutter :

Remove the outer foil block. Remove the inner cutter by grasping it firmly at both ends and pulling it straight away from the shaver. To insert the new inner cutter, hold the cutter at both ends and press downwards until its snaps onto the shaver.

Becareful to the inner cutter blades as they are sharp.
