• Do not twist the gas supply hose.
• Beforeeachuse,visuallyinspectthegassupplyhoseforcracks,cutsorexcessivewear.
Replace the hose if necessary. Check for gas leaks.
• GasSpecifications:Besurethatthegassuppliedtotheapplianceconformstothemodelyou purchased.Thisgrillcannotbeusenaturalgastooperate;thegrillrequiresliquidpropane gas to operate.
• Neverconnecttheappliancetoanunregulatedgassupplyline.Appliancesoperatedwith
outaregulatorareunsafeandwillnotbeserviceduntilinstalledproperlyandsafely.Unsafe
operationwithoutagasregulatorwillvoidthewarrantyoftheappliance.
• AppliancesoperatedwithLP(liquidpropane)gasmustbeinstalledwithanLPregulatorsetto
11” water column pressure.
• Pleasecontactyourdealerandusealicensedcontractororinstallertoconvertyour appliancetothedifferentgastype.
TheselfcontainedLPsystemapplianceisdesigncertifiedtobeusedwithastandard20lb.,12
1/4”diameter;18”highcylinderwithrighthandedconnectionthreadsandthisisthemaximum size LP tank to be used. The cylinder must be marked in accordance with the latest U.S.
DepartmentofTransportationspecificationsforLPgascylinders.(CFR49orNationalStandards ofCanadaCAN/CSAB359Cylinders,SpheresandTubesfortheTransportationofDangerous
Goods)aPropaneTankwithanODP)OverfillPreventionDevice)mustbeusedatalltimes.
IMPORTANT: Never connect the appliance to an unregulated gas supply.
Theinstallationofthisappliancemustconformwithlocalcodesorintheabsenceoflocalcodes, tothenationalfuelgascode,ANSIZ223.1a1998.InstallationinCanadamustbeinaccordance
withthestandardCAN/CGAB149.2,PropaneInstallationCode.
Theappliancemustbeisolatedfromthegassupplypipingsystembyclosingitsindividualmanual shutoffvalveduringanypressuretestingofthegassupplypipingsystemattestpressuresequal toorlessthan0.5psi(3.5kPa).
Theapplianceanditsindividualshutoffvalvemustbedisconnectedfromthegassupplypiping systemduringanypressuretestingofthatsystemattestpressureinexcessof0.5psi(3.5kPa).

Checking for Gas Leaks
Perform a leak test at least once a year whether the gas supply cylinder has been disconnected ornot.Inaddition,wheneverthegascylinderisconnectedtotheregulatororwheneveranypart ofthegassystemisdisconnectedorreplaced,performaleaktest.
Asasafetyprecaution,remembertoalwaysleaktestyourapplianceoutdoorsinawellventilated area.Neversmokeorpermitsourcesofignitionintheareawhiledoingaleaktest.Donotusea
flame,suchasalightedmatchtotestforleaks.Useasolutionofsoapywater.
• Preparealeaktestingsolutionofsoapywaterbymixinginaspraybottleonepartliquid soap to one part water.
• MakesureallthecontrolknobsareintheOFFposition
• Turn on the gas
• OnLPsystemsturnthecylindervalveknobcounterclockwiseoneturntoopen.
• Applytheleaktestingsolutionbysprayingitonjointsofthegasdeliverysystem.
• Blowingbubblesinthesoapsolutionindicatesthataleakispresent.
• StopaleakbytighteningtheloosejointresealingwiththreadsealantorTeflontape, removingsealantortapeintheeventofaflaredconnectionorbyreplacingthefaultypart withareplacementpartrecommendedbythemanufacturer.Donotattempttorepairthe
cylindervalveifitisdamaged.ThecylindermustbediscardedtoaproperLPtanklocation
and then replaced.
• TurnallcontrolknobsbacktothefullOFFposition.
• IfyouareunabletostopaleakturnallcontrolknobsbacktothefullOFFpositionshutoff the gas supply to the appliance and release pressure in the hose and manifold by pushing inandturninganyofthecontrolvalvesonequarterturncounterclockwise.
• OnLPsystems,removethecylinderfromtheappliance
• CallanauthorizedgasapplianceservicetechnicianoranLPgasdealer.
• Donotusetheapplianceuntiltheleakiscorrected.

GAS CONNECTIONS
UNPACKING UNIT:
YourGRILLAppliancecomespreassembledandrequiresverylittlesetup.Wedohowever,we alwaysrecommendtheuseofprofessionalhelpduringtheinstallationofyourunitasimproper installationmayaffectyourwarranty.Removetheunitfromtheboxalongwithallaccessories
and check that no damage has occurred to the unit or any parts.
Burners:
Checktheburnertubesandremoveanyobstructionsthatmaybeintheportsorholes.Usinga
brushwillbesufficient.Makesureallforeignparticlesareremovedfromtheburnerbeforeuse.
Aysleaktestyourapplianceoutdoorsinawellventilatedarea.Neversmokeorpermitsources
ofignitionintheareawhiledoingaleaktest.Donotuseaflame,suchasalightedmatchtotest forleaks.Useasolutionofsoapywater.
Liquid Propane ( Gas and Tank Requirement )
• A collar to protect the cylinder threads on the customer supplied tank.
• Anarrangementforgasvaporwithdrawal.
• Asafetyreliefdevicehavingdirectcommunicationwiththevaporspaceofthecylinder.
• Amethodofmounting.
• Whennotinuse,thetankshutoffvalveshouldbeturnedoff.
Filling and Refi lling LP Gas Cylinders:
AllpurgingandrefillingofLPgascylindersmustbeperformedbyqualifiedpersonnelintheLP gasindustry.NeverstoreaspareLPgascylinderunderornearthisappliance.NeverfilltheLP
gascylinderbeyond80percentfull.Failuretofollowtheseinstructionsmayresultinexplosion, personal injury or death.
• TurncontrolknobsandcylindervalvetotheOFFposition.Unscrewvalve.
• Removecylinderandhaveitfilledatyourlocalqualifiedpropanedealer.
• Oncefilled,carefullyconnectthevalveandmakesureitissecureandnotleaking.
• WiththecontrolknobsintheOFFposition,turnonthecylindervalve.

Ifyousmellgasorhearahissofgasescapingfromthetank,getawayfromthetankanddonot attempttocorrecttheproblemyourself.CalltheFireDepartmentimmediately.
Ifyourappliancehasnoleakatthecylinder,thenrecheckforlooseconnectionsandretestfor leaksusingthemethoddetailedinthefollowingpageswithsoapysolution.
DonotsubjectyourLPgascylindertoexcessiveheat,andalwaysstorethecylinderinanupright position.NeverstoreyourLPcylindersindoors.
Makesurethatwhenattachingcomponents,allconnectionsaresecuredandfullytightenedto preventleakage.
Ifoneisnotalreadyavailable,itisrecommendedthatanONOFFshutoffvalvebeinstalledat thegassupplysource,andthatthegassupplybeturnedoffwhenLPGasappliancesarenotin use.
Transporting and Storing LP Gas
Transportonlyonecylinderatatime.Ensurethecylinderissecuredinanuprightpositionwith
thecontrolvalveturnedoffandthedustcapinplace.Storecylindersoutdoorsandoutofthe
reachofchildren.Donotstorecylindersinabuilding,garage,oranyotherenclosedarea.

OPERATION - PROPANE GAS GRILLS
Before lighting the burners inspect the gas supply piping or hose. If there is evidence of cuts, wear, or abrasion, it must be replace d prior to use. Always keep your face and body as far away from the grill as possible when lighting.
Checking for Gas Leaks
CheckforgasleakseverytimeyouconnectyourpropanegasgrilltoaPropanegascylinder, whenaconnectedcylinderhasnotbeenusedrecently,orwheneitheranaturalorpropanegrill isbeingusedforthefirsttime.
Caution:Donotuseanopenflamewhencheckingforleaks.Checkingforleakswithanopen
flamemayleadtoafireorexplosion,resultinginpropertydamageorpersonalinjury.
Before cooking with your appliance for the fi rst ti me, burn off any foreign matt er and rid the unit of any odors by burning the unit on HIGH for about 10 minutes. When lit, the fl ame should have a mostly infrared color to it.This appliance should be preheated before cooking with the main burner control setti ngs on HIGH for fi ve minutes with the glass door closed.
Priortousingyourapplianceverifythatallofthefollowingiscorrect:
• Installationofthepropergastypeandregulatorsettings.
• Thepropergasconnectioniscomplete.
• Check for gas leaks.
• Minimum clearances are maintained.
• Allpackaginghasbeenremoved.
• All parts and components are properly in place.
• Aninstallersuppliedmanualgasshutoffvalveisfullyaccessible.
• LPhoseiscleanandinspectedforcuts,wear,abrasion,orleaks.Replaceifnecessarywith
asuitableUL,ETLorCSAListedpartwithinternallythreadedconnector.

LP Hose Connecti on
1. Connect the 3/8 Flare end of the Gas Hose with regulator.
2. Tothe3/8flareendofthecouplingontheunitusinga¾openwrench.Donotapplypipe
sealant(theseareflarefiting).
3. ConnectthereguladortotheLPCylinder.Useatooltotightentheregulador.
Inside and Commercial Use
1. For commercial use and indoors it is necessary to use the adapter as shown below.

Lighti ng the Appliance
1. Makesuretheglassdoorareclosed,thantoigniteburners,startswiththeupperburner, pushtheburnerknobinandslowlyrotatecounterclockwisetothehighposition.
2. You will hear a loud click as the electronic lighter produces a spark. Listen for the sound ofthegasignitingandlookforaflamethroughtheburner.Iftheburnerdoesnotlighton
thefirsttry,repeatimmediately.(Forrearburner,aslowerturnoftheknobisnecessary.This
allowsgastoaccumulateintherearburnertoachieveignition.)
3. Iftheburnerdoesnotlightin5secondsthenwaitfiveminutesuntilthegasclearsbefore attemptingtolightitagain.Repeattheprocedureortrythemanuallightingprocedurebelow.
4. Uponsuccessfullighting,repeattheprocessontheotherburnersyouwishtolight.
5. Toshutofftheburners,rotatetheknobandturntoOFF.
6. Itisnormaltohearapoppingsoundwhentheburnersareturnedoff.
Operati ng the Grill
1. BeforeplacingtheskewerswiththemeatintoyourGrill,lightuptheburners.
2. Placethedriptrayintothebaseofgrill,thegreasedropsfromthemeat,dropdirectto the hot tray.
3. Totriggertheskewersrotation,closetheglassdoorandthenpressON.

Removing Skewers
1. Turntheskewersrotationoff,presstheknob.
2. Opentheglassdoor,rightdoorhandler.
3. Holdtheskewer’shandleandliftitupunfittingitfromitsholder.
4. Pulltheskeweroutsidebydisplacingitstipfromthedraggingaxle.
5. Whengrillingisdone,turnofftheburners.
NOTE:
• The food must be evenly distributed on each one of the skewers, so that it can easily rotate. If you misplace (place out of the center spot) the meat onto the skewer, this could damage the motor gear box.
• Capacity 3.3 pounds (1,5 kg) of meat per skewer.
• Never turn/twist the skewer if it is sti ll fi tt ed into the dragging axle, otherwise it may get bent and/or the roti sserie system may get damaged.
Please take care when you are placing the meat on the skewer:
1. Insert the skewer lengthwise into the centre of the roast securing it in place with the remaining fork
2. Afterplacetheskewerintotherotisseriemotorandturnrotisseriemotoronchecktosee if the meat turns smoothly while cooking and adjust the balance as necessary
TESTING THAT THE MEAT IS EVENLY BALANCED ON THE SPIT
3. Loosentheskewerbalance,ifnecessary,adjustthebalancetothemiddlepointtocounterbalance the weight on the skewer.
4. Afterplacetheskewerintotherotisseriemotorandturnrotisseriemotoronchecktosee if the meat turns smoothly while cooking and adjust the balance as necessary.
Carrying the Appliance
1. Makesurethegrillisnothottomoveitortostoreyourgrill.
2. Removealltheaccessoriesandtheglasslid.
3. Tocarryonyourproduct,usethelateralhandlesforeasytransport.

YourgrillareequippedwithLithium-Ionbatteries.Wehaveselectedthesebatteriestogiveyou
maximumbatterylifeandlongrunningtimes.
1. Findthechargerthatcomeswithyourgrill.Ifyouhavelostyours,seeinstructionson page“HowtoOrderRepairParts”.Useonlythechargerprovidedwiththeappliance.Donot
attempttousethischargerwithanyotherproduct.Likewise,donotattempttochargethis appliance with any other charger.
