INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

C3821 RADIO INTERFACE CORD

DESCRIPTION

The C3821 Radio Interface Cord provides connection between the Series 3800 Communication

System and the user's mobile radio. When the C3821 is connected to a Radio Interface

Module the mobile radio receive and transmit functions become part of the intercom system.

NOTE: Ensure that cable connections at the radio end are clean and secure.

INSTALLATION

1. Connect the stripped and tinned ends of the C3821 Radio Interface Cord to the mobile radio following the schematic shown below.

2. The C3821 has a military type screw-on connector. Install as follows: a. Align key-way slot on cord connector with key in threaded connector on module. b. Insert pins into socket until firmly seated. c. Hand tighten swivel nut on cord connector.
