__________Guide to Replacing the Power

Supply Board M7500

1) Power the unit off, unplug power cord from system. Remove the screws from the top cover and set aside. Figure 1

2) Using a #2 stubby Phillips screwdriver remove the two screws that hold the bracket to the Power Supply board. Remove the bracket and set aside. Figure 2

3) Grasp the board by the heatsink bracket and pull straight out. Figure 3

(Note: When installing the new board, be aware that there are two different styles of connectors on the Power Supply board that will plug into the Interconnect board. Be careful to align the bottom connector first and then push firmly straight in.) Figure 4

4) After installing the new board power the unit on to be sure that the system initializes.

(Note: All the LED’s on the Power Supply board should be lit up when the system is initialized.) If they are not it is possible that a pin has gotten bent during the installation. Shut the unit off and pull the board out, check the pins and try re-inserting the board again.

5) It is important to push firmly to be sure the board is completely seated into both connectors on the Interconnect board.

6) Once all the lights are lit on the Power Supply board you will need to reinstall the stabilization bracket and the two screws.

7) There is a slot on the stabilization bracket. Be sure that the edge of the board fits tightly in this slot. Figure 5
