DESCRIPTION

The SLIMpatchcords from the trademark SLIM® are the solution for many problems of structured cabling. Even if they look quite similar to a flat telephone cable, they reach a category 6 performance and are suitable to all 10BASE-T-,

100BASE-TX- und 1000BASE-T  applications, including gigabit ethernet. 3 SLIMpatchcords do have the same diameter as a usual category 6 copper patchcord. Despite the extremely thin design, the cable has a twisting of the individual wire pairs. In addition, it has a wide, flexible latch protection as well as a practical length print on both ends and supports Power over

Ethernet (PoE IEEE802.3af).

APPLICATION

Typical application areas for the SLIMpatchcords:

· Overfilled server or network cabinets or cable channels

· Telephone system or switches with high port densities. With very short cables, you could easily patch from switch to switch or switch to panel without cable routing

· Connection of VoIP telephones because they are extremely flexible and therefore not so difficult to lay on a desk

· Applications in industry and manufacturing where ethernet connections are required, but only little space is available

· As a patch cable in the notebook bag for technicians and field staff

· In the private environment to lay a patch cable under the carpet or the edge strip
