2 Lode Excalibur Sport

The newly designed Excalibur Sport ergometer meets the latest requirements of modern sports medicine and research.

Since athletes are becoming more powerful and testing now more advanced than ever, this ergometer has been developed for extreme workloads up to 2500 watt.

Workload control

The peak load of 1500 - 2500 watt can be maintained for a maximum of 6 minutes.

The standard external control unit allows the workload to be controlled in various modes -

• Isokinetic (fixed rpm)

• Hyperbolic (rpm independent)

• Linear (rpm dependent)

• Torque (fixed torque)

• Heart rate (fixed heart rate - optional)

Adjustability

Versatile positioning of the test subject with increased adjustability of the handlebar and saddle -

The Excalibur Sport Pedal Force Measurement system allows continuous registration of forces exerted on left and right crank with specific reports and analysis.

Export to statistical programmes with the optional LEM

Export Module.

Protocols can be programmed based on time intervals (maximum

Pneumotach RSS100

The RSS100 and RSS100/HR research systems measure gas flow using the differential pressure method. As gas flows through the pneumotach, the microprocessor based system converts the measured differential pressure to volumetric flow rate. Flow and pressure measurements are used to calculate several ventilatory parameters such as respiratory rate, lung compliance, tidal volume, minute volume, positive end expiratory pressure, etc.

• Custom Windows software for displaying, storing and reviewing data

• Embedded microprocessor calculates flow rates and provides correction for gas density, viscosity, temperature, barometric pressure and airway pressure

The CorTemp ambulatory data recorder wirelessly picks up the signal from the CorTemp core body temperature sensor, converts the sensor’s signal into digital format for display and storage.
