Before you use the Digital Video Baby Monitor, we recommend that you insert and fully charge the battery in the Parent Unit, so that it continues to work if you disconnect it from the power supply. Please read the Safety
Instructions on pages 7 - 9 before you install the Units.

Important guidelines for installing your Digital Video Baby Monitor
• To use your Baby Unit and Parent Unit together, you must be able to establish a radio link between them, and the range will be affected by environmental conditions.
• Any large metal object, like a refrigerator, a mirror, a filing cabinet, a metallic door or reinforced concrete, between the Baby Unit and Parent Unit may block the radio signal.
• The signal strength may also be reduced by other solid structures, like walls, or by radio or electrical equipment, such as TVs, computers, cordless or mobile phones, fluorescent lights or dimmer switches.
• Other 2.4GHz products, such as wireless networks (Wi-Fi
®
routers), Bluetooth™ systems, microwave ovens or other Baby Monitors, may cause interference with this product, so keep the Baby Monitor at least 5ft (1.5m) away from these types of product, or turn them off if they appear to be causing interference.
• If the signal is weak, try moving the Parent and/or the Baby Unit to different positions in the rooms.
• Always ensure that you have a good Wi-Fi
®
connection available.

CAMERA SET UP & USE:
• Choose a location for the Baby Unit that will provide the best view of your baby in his/her crib.
• Place the Baby Unit on a flat surface, such as a dresser, bureau or shelf, or mount the Baby Unit on a wall securely using the keyhole slots in the underside of the stand.
• NEVER place the Baby Unit or cords within the crib.
WARNING
This Digital Video Baby Monitor is compliant with all relevant standards regarding electromagnetic fields and is, when handled as described in the
User's Guide, safe to use. Therefore, always read the instructions in this User's
Guide carefully before using the device.
• Adult assembly is required. Keep small parts away from children when assembling.
• This product is not a toy. Do not allow children to play with it.
• This Digital Video Baby Monitor is not a substitute for responsible adult supervision.
• Keep this user's guide for future reference.
• Keep the cords out of reach of children.
• Do not cover the Digital Video Baby Monitor with a towel or blanket.
• Test this monitor and all its functions so that you are familiar with it prior to actual use.
• Do not use the Digital Video Baby Monitor in damp areas or close to water.
• Do not install the Digital Video Baby Monitor in extreme cold or heat, direct sunlight, or close to a heat source.
• Only use the chargers and power adapters provided. Do not use other chargers or power adapters as this may damage the device and battery pack.
• Only insert a battery pack of the same type.
• Do not touch the plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
• Connect the power adapters to easily accessible mains power socket.

Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
The Unit shall be setup and used so that parts of the user's body other than the hands are maintained at a distance of approximately 8 inches (20 cm) or more.

2. Getting Started
2.1
Baby Unit Power Supply
Micro USB plug
1.
Connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet and insert the plug into the micro USB socket on the back of the Baby Unit (Camera).
NOTE
Only use the enclosed Power Adapter (5V DC / 1000mA) with the Micro USB plug.
2.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The power indicator LED will light up in blue.
3.
To switch off the Baby Unit, slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position.
2.2
Parent Unit Battery Installation
The rechargeable battery pack supplied should be installed so that the Parent
Unit can be moved without losing the link and picture with the Baby Unit(s).
Charge the battery in the Parent Unit before using it for the first time or when the
Parent Unit indicates that battery is low.

Small cross-head or flat-head screwdriver.
1.
Insert the wire tabs of the rechargeable battery pack into the contact slots as shown above and fit the battery pack into the compartment.
2.
Place the battery cover over the compartment and gently tighten the screw in a clockwise direction using a small cross-head or flat-head screwdriver.
2.3
Parent Unit Power Supply
IMPORTANT
It is recommended that the rechargeable battery pack be installed and charged fully before use. This will allow the Unit to operate on battery in the event of a power failure, or when moving it to a different room.
1.
Connect the small plug of the power adapter to the Parent Unit and the other end to the electrical outlet. Only use the enclosed power adapter (5V
DC/600mA).
2.
Press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button for 1 second to switch on the Parent Unit.
3.
Once the Baby and Parent Units are switched on, the display on the Parent
Unit will show the video captured by the Baby Unit.

If there is no connection or the Units are out of range with each other, the video display will go off, the symbol will flash on the LCD display, and the Unit will beep every 9 seconds. Move the Parent Unit closer to the Baby
Unit to re-establish the link.
5.
To switch off the Parent Unit, press and hold the POWER ON/OFF button
until the progress bar scrolls across fully.
NOTE
The battery icon
0
will turn Red, flash and beep approximately every 5 seconds to indicate that battery is low and needs to be recharged. The battery pack will take approximately 16 hours to charge.
When charging
1.
If the Parent Unit is switched OFF when the power adapter is plugged in, an adapter icon will appear on-screen, followed by a large battery icon with internal segments cycling for 60 seconds, before the display goes blank.
Note that the Parent Unit will continue to charge. The power indicator LED on the top left corner will light up in blue to indicate that the adapter is plugged in.
2.
If the Parent Unit is switched ON when the adapter is plugged in, the battery icon on the top right corner of the screen will show that the battery is charging (with internal segments cycling). The segments stop cycling when the battery is fully charged. The power indicator LED on the top left corner will light up in blue to indicate that the adapter is plugged in.
2.4
Registration (Pairing)
The Baby Unit (Camera) is pre-registered to your Parent Unit. You do not need to register it again unless the Baby Unit loses its link with the Parent Unit.
To re-register your Baby Unit, or register a new Baby Unit, follow the procedure below:
1.
Press the MENU button and the menu bar will pop up.

RIGHT button to select the desired Camera number, and press the OK button to start searching for a Camera Unit. The Audio Level LED will light up in Blue while searching.
5.
Press and hold the PAIR button on the bottom left edge of the Baby Unit until the Parent Unit finds the camera, beeps and the picture from the camera appears.
NOTE
If a particular Baby Unit was registered previously, registering this current Baby
Unit again will overwrite the old registration.
If a Baby Unit is not found within about 30 seconds, the search will end and the
Parent Unit will return to its previous mode.

3. Using the Baby Monitor
3.1
Setting Up
• Place the Baby Unit in a convenient location (e.g. on a table) and point the camera lens towards the area you want to monitor.
• Adjust the Baby Unit’s camera angle by rotating it up, down, left and right until you are satisfied with the image that appears on the Parent Unit.
NOTE
Do not place the Baby Unit within reach of a child or baby. If there is interference with the picture or sound, try moving the Units to different locations, and ensure that they are not close to any other electrical equipment.
3.2
Night Vision Mode
The Baby Unit has 7 high-intensity infrared LEDs for picking up clear images in the dark. When the built-in photo sensor on the top of the Unit detects a low level of ambient light, the LEDs will automatically activate and the screen on the
Parent Unit will display in black and white. The icon will be displayed at the top of the screen.
3.3
Video ON/OFF
Press the VIDEO On/Off button on the Parent Unit to turn the LCD display on or off, but still leaving the audio monitor on.
3.4
Talk Mode
Press and hold the TALK button

on the Parent Unit to talk to your baby through the Baby Unit’s loudspeaker. The

icon will be displayed at the top of the LCD screen.
3.5
Temperature Display (HH °C / °F or LL °C / °F)
The temperature reading from the temperature sensor at the back of the Baby
Unit will be displayed at the top of the LCD screen. The readings will turn RED if the temperature goes above 29°C / 84°F or below 14°C / 57°F. The reading will change to HH °C / °F if the temperature goes above 36°C / 97°F. The reading will change to LL °C / °F if the temperature falls below 1°C / 34°F.

A Camera can only be registered to one Parent Unit at any one time.

When a user tries to access the Camera, the Hubble server will authenticate the user’s identity before it grants access to the Camera.
5.2.1
Setup
• Connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet and insert the plug into the micro USB socket on the back of the Camera Unit.
• Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position.
• The Camera Unit must be within range of the Wi-Fi
®
router with which you want to connect. Make sure that you have the password of the router for the setup process.

• Connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet and insert the plug into the micro USB socket on the back of the Camera Unit.
• Make sure that the ON/OFF switch is in the ON position.
• The Camera’s Red LED flashes after the Camera has finished booting. When you hear one beep, this means that the Camera is ready for setup.

Download Hubble for Motorola Monitors App
• Go to Google Play™ Store to search for "Hubble for Motorola Monitors".
• Download "Hubble for Motorola Monitors" App from Google Play™ Store and install it on your Android™ device

• Ensure that your Android™ device is connected to your Wi-Fi

router.
• Run "Hubble for Motorola Monitors" App, enter your account information, read through the Terms of Service, then select "I agree to the Terms of Use" before you tap Create. (Picture A1)

Camera Functions:
5.5.1
Connecting the Camera Unit to power
• Connect the power adapter to an electrical outlet and insert the plug into the micro USB socket on the back of the Camera Unit.
• Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position. The power indicator LED will light up in green. (Note: To switch off the device, slide the ON/OFF switch to
OFF.)
• Run the Hubble App on your smart device.
5.5.2
Overview of the Features on Hubble App
Menu Cameras to access the camera list. to access the video record list that is triggered by Motion or Sound detection.
• Tap to access user Profile, subscription Plan, Notifications setting, Remote
Connection Setting and About Hubble
Photo/Video • Take a photo or record a video from your
Camera.
• Tap the Video icon to activate Video function. Tap and hold the red button to start recording and release to stop.
• Tap the Camera icon to switch to Camera mode. You can capture photos from Camera view.

Photos and videos will be stored in the internal flash memory of your smart device, and can be accessed via the Gallery or Media Player

The temperature reading from the temperature sensor at the back of the Camera Unit will display on the screen of your Android™ device. The readings will turn RED if the temperature goes beyond the High/Low temperature that was set in your Account.
Tap to activate the function. Press the round button once to speak through the Camera
Unit. Toggle the button again to listen to the audio feedback from the Camera Unit.

Procedure for Resetting the Camera
Note: If your Camera is moved from one router (e.g. home) to another (e.g. office) or you have Camera setup issues, then the Camera must be reset. Please reset the Camera with the following procedures:
1.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to OFF.
2.
Press and hold the PAIR button, then slide the ON/OFF switch to ON.
3.
Release the PAIR button when you hear a confirmation beep and wait for the Camera Unit to compete an internal reset procedure. The LED indicator will turn red and flash slowly when the Camera Unit is reset successfully.
4.
You can add your Camera again by following the steps in section 5.3.4 for
Android

devices or in section 5.4.4 for iOS devices.

6. Disposal of the Device (Environment)
At the end of the product life cycle, you should not dispose of this product with normal household waste. Take this product to a collection point for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment. The symbol on the product, user's guide and/or box indicates this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you take them to a recycling point. By reusing some parts or raw materials from used products you make an important contribution to the protection of the environment.

No display
• Try recharging or replacing the battery pack.
• Reset the Units. Disconnect the battery pack of the Parent Unit and unplug both the Units' electrical power, then plug them back in.
• Is the Unit turned on?
Press and hold the ON/OFF button on the Parent Unit to turn it ON.
• Is the correct camera selected? Change the camera number, if necessary.
• Is the video display turned on? Press the VIDEO ON/OFF button to turn it
ON.
• When operating using batteries only, the display will go blank after 5 minutes or 30 minutes or 60 minutes to save power (depending on video settings).
The Unit is still active and will give you audio alerts. You can reactivate the screen by pressing any button.
Registration
If the Baby Unit has lost its link with the Parent Unit
• Try recharging or replacing the battery pack.
• If the Baby Unit is too far away it may be going out of range, so move the
Baby Unit closer to the Parent Unit.
• Reset the Units by disconnecting them from the battery and electrical power.
Wait about 15 seconds before reconnecting. Allow up to one minute for the
Baby Unit and the Parent Unit to synchronize.
• See 2.4 Registration (Pairing), if there is a need to re-register the Units.
Interference
Noise interference on your Parent Unit
• Your Baby and Parent Units may be too close. Move them further apart.
• Make sure there is at least 3 to 6ft (1 to 2m) between the 2 Units to avoid audio feedback.
• lf the Baby Unit is too far away, it may be out of range. Move the Baby Unit closer to the Parent Unit.
Help
• Make sure that the Baby and Parent Units are not near other electrical equipment, such as a television, computer or cordless/mobile telephone.
• Use of other 2.4 GHz products, such as wireless networks (Wi-Fi
®
routers),
Bluetooth™ systems, or microwave ovens, may cause interference with this product. Keep the Baby Monitor at least 5ft (1.5m) away from these types of products, or turn them off if they appear to be causing interference.
• If the signal is weak, try moving the Parent and/or Baby Unit to different positions in the rooms.

When I am in "remote mode", the video stops after 5 minutes. How do I view for longer?
When you are accessing your Camera via a network different from your home network (over the internet) your video times out after 5 minutes.
You can click on the Camera again from the Android™/iOS application to start streaming again.
If you are accessing from your webbrowser, then you can press on the
Reload button to start viewing your
Camera video stream again.
The sound alert setting threshold is not right.
You can Adjust Sound Sensitivity to trigger notifications under Camera

What are the supported browsers for accessing from my PC/

If you are trying to add a Camera which has previously been added into your account or another account, you will first have to reset the Camera. This can be done by pressing and holding the PAIR button at the bottom of the
Camera for 5 seconds.

A flashing LED indicates the following status:

If you are accessing in Local Mode, two users are supported, after two users all streaming will go through the remote server. This allows for unlimited user access to a single
