Wild Goose Canning Systems ships is backed with a one year limited parts warranty.

Which system is right for you? How do you know which modules to add? We’ve outlined information to lead you through some basic considerations.

To begin, consider what kind of volume your brewery needs now and in the coming 24 months. Following is a chart that gives capacity figures for our machines: model

Our standard WGC systems ship equipped to package 12 oz and 16 oz cans, and are modifiable to do other sizes like 19.2 oz 500 ml (with additional engineering time and costs). We have engineered our systems to package slimline cans in the past for a couple of our wine customers. All of our systems are UL-compliant. about our systems wGC 50

A manual system employing a patented 2-head filling station and capable of filling and seaming 8–12

(12 oz) cans per minute (CPM). It is not automated and there are no ancillary modules (e.g., twist rinse tunnels). It has a very small footprint, measuring 26” in width by 45” in length by 68” in height, runs on standard 110 power and comes with a 3-prong/30 amp safety plug.

The WGC 50 employs an OSHAcompliant safety system to prevent operator hands from entering the seaming area. wGC 100

A semi-automated system that utilizes a patented 2-head filling station, automated lid dropper and our patented seaming station capable of producing 27–31 CPM.

While a step up from the WGC 50 in terms of base unit cost, many brewers find the payback time on investment attractive enough to warrant the increase.

wGC 250

Also semi-automated, this WGC system employs a patented 4-head filling station capable of producing

38–42 CPM.

The WGC 100 and 250 each measure

38.5” in width by 89.5” in length by 89.5” in height, run on standard 110 power and come with a 3-prong/30 amp safety plug. As well, they can be ordered as mobile canning units, with a lower height

(68”), mobile hardening and larger, more rugged wheels for better portability.

Another customization option is the addition of guarding and wiring for CEcompliance in European markets. wGC 600

Our latest offering is a major leap ahead for brewers looking for a

88–95 CPM system. It employs a patented, dual alternating four-head filling station, two automated lid dropper stations and double WGCpatented seaming stations, all while delivering a footprint of only 48” in width by 108” in length by 93” in height.

about custom add-on modules

Wild Goose offers several ancillary modules to add to your base system in order to increase automation, boost production and minimize labor.

These modules works with all WGC systems (except for the WGC 50).

Depalletizing Modules (semiautomatic, manual and mobile)

The WGC Depalletizing Modules feed pallets of cans to WGC systems, layer by layer. The semi-automatic

(requires user input once per pallet) and manual (needs user intervention once per row) units each come standard with a singulating conveyor and integrated twist rinse that support both 12 and 16 oz cans. The twist rinse operates with air, water or sani-solution so cans are pre-rinsed and clean before filling.

Rinse tunnel Module

The RT Module (not a dryer) attaches to the WGC systems’ Seaming

Station and is designed to rinse cans after filling, then remove the majority of the moisture from the lid via air jets so cans are clean and ready for packaging.

Inlet Pressure/temperature

Monitoring Module

These highly accurate gauges are designed to monitor the beer temperature and pressure as the beer enters the Fill Station in order to maintain optimal filling parameters. The modules allow the operator to note changes in beer conditions.

Compressed air Package

Let Wild Goose Canning source your pneumatics requirements with an

Ingersoll Rand Air Compressor with integrated air dryer and coalescing filters. Conforms to all air capacity and air quality standards required to operate WGC systems.

Installing Your System

Every new Wild Goose Canning

System requires an installation and training appointment, which means we send at least one WGC tech to your site for 2 – 3 days. The first day is spent setting up and fine-tuning the canning line as well as training.

On the second day we run the canning line with product, all the while training your staff. During the last day we focus on more training and you run your canning line with your beer while we supervise (and drink a beer!).

A formal installation process from

WGC is required, as this is the time when our techs set up the machine and provide training on the system, both of which we are uniquely qualified to do. Moreover, proper use and maintenance of the system translates to better production, decreased downtime and service interruptions, and extends the length of part life. As well, the WGC warranty period begins upon the installation.
