Manually configure DolphinNet on Windows Vista
Click on the Start button or Blue Windows Logo
Click on Settings - Control Panel

Double click the “Network and Sharing Center” Icon

Click on the “ADD” button, this will let you add DolphinNet as a wireless network

Click on “Manage Wireless Networks”

Click on “Manually Create a Network Profile”

You will now get a successful screen. However, you will need to configure the wireless network
now.
Click “Change Connection Settings”

Type/Select the following information and click NEXT:
Network name: “DolphinNet”
Security type: “WPA2-Enterprise”
Encryption type: “AES”

In the “DolphinNet Wireless Network properties”. Click the “Security” Tab
Leave all settings as-is and click on the “Settings” button

UNCHECK: Automatically use my Windows Logon name and password (and domain if any).
“This should only be UNCHECKED if this is a personal or non-ju computer. Employees should
leave this checked on JU owned computers.”

UNCHECK “Validate server certificate”
CLICK on the “Configure” button

Click on this bubble and type in the following:
Username: “Your JU username”
Password: “Your JU password”
Domain: “OCEAN”
Click OK

Click OK on all windows and stop once you get back to the Control Panel. You can now close all
windows. If you unchecked the “Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and
domain if any)” box, you will receive a bubble on your taskbar asking to input your credentials.
