CERIO’s OW-300N2-A2 eXtreme Power 11n 2.4GHz 2x2 +10dBi + Heater Outdoor Bridge/Access Point
(1000mW) utilizes a built-in CenOS 3.0 software core and is compatible with CERIO Wireless Management
Software. Our CenOS 3.0 software core and CWMS management software promotes operation efficiency
and network management, making them very suitable for outdoor wireless deployment. OW-300N2-A2 is
the perfect outdoor device for reliably delivering last mile wireless services to businesses or residential
broadband subscribers.
OW-300N2-A2 utilizes 1000mW output Tx Power with built-in 10dBi patch antennas, and also supports 2x2
external N-Type Antenna Connectors (users must enter the software UI to select either built-in antennas or
external N-Type antennas, they cannot be used simultaneously). This device and use Wifi Mesh or WDS to
provide clients with an Ethernet connection to an expanded local wireless network. CERIO’s OW-300N2-A2
incorporates a built-in heater with smart sensory control to detect when the device’s temperatures drop
too low. This device is powered through Power over Ethernet, allowing both data and power to be supplied
through Cat5 cabling. OW-300N2-A2 supports 5 operation modes: Router AP mode/ Router AP + WDS
mode, Pure AP / AP + WDS Mode, Pure WDS Mode, Client Bridge + Universal Repeater AP Mode, and
finally WISP + Repeater AP Mode. CERIO’s OW-300N2-A2 utilizes built-in software interface and is
compatible with our remote management systems for simplified deployment, and reduction in
maintenance cost.

The Software Built-in: CenOS 3.0 Introduction
CERIO’s GS Firmware uses the CenOS 3.0 core . The firmware’s main functions are Wifi application for
Router + WiFi Access Point ( Includes Router AP+WDS) and Pure WiFi Access Point (Includes AP+WDS)
and Point to Point / Multi Point WiFi Bridge and Bridge + Repeater Extension WiFi AP and WISP/CPE
for Router + WiFi Repeater AP functions .
The CenOS 3.0 core’s operation mode supports Router AP with WDS mode / Pure AP with WDS Mode
/ Pure WDS mode / Client Bridge + Universal Repeater Mode and WISP/CPE Repeater +AP mode.
CenOS 3.0 features simplify deployment and reduce cost for continued maintenance of the indoor
Access Point . CERIO’s CenOS software core is undoubtedly the best choice for high performance wifi
application.

 Wi-Fi connection as WAN , in CPE mode , the device run as DHCP server to assign IP address to clients out of a
private IP address pool behind a NAT
 It can be used as an Outdoor Customer Premises Equipment (CPE) to receive wireless signal over last mile
application, helping WISPs deliver wireless broadband Internet service to residents and business customers
 In the CPE mode, OW-300N2-A2 is a gateway enabled with NAT and DHCP Server functions. The wired clients
connected to OW-300N2-A2 are in different subnet from those connected to Main Base Station, and, in CPE
mode, it does not accept wireless association from wireless clients.

die cast weatherproof housing utilizes built-in 2.4 GHz 2x2 10dBi directional antennas and 2x2 External N-Type
Antenna Connectors. The hardware also includes a built-in lightning arrester (15kV ESD) design and Heater
control, when PCB operating temperatures drop below 0˚C the heater will turn on automatically.
PoE Bridge application
The CERIO OW-300N2-A2 incorporates Power over Ethernet Bridge function. PoE Bridge support provide power to
subsequent PD devices such as IP Cameras and Access Points . This passthrough technology passes surplus
electricity to other devices such as OW-2xxN2-Series / OW-3xxN2-Series AP or other 48V PoE PD. PoE Bridge
provides convenience and cost reduction when setting up a wireless network.
