Enter Programming, Installers Code (4111) + 8 + 0 or Power down then back up
& press the * + # keys simultaneously within 50 seconds.
Screen Displays, “INSTALLER CODE 20”
Press “*” + 22 & enter 2 for wireless or 4 for RF jam detection.
Press “*” + 56, screen displays “ENTER ZN NUM. (00 = QUIT) 01”, if using
the *58 expert mode skip to step 15.
Wireless zones use zone numbers 10-25.
Screen displays, “SET TO CONFIRM? 0 = NO , 1 = YES 0” enter 1 to confirm
the serial number & loop number are correct, otherwise 0.
Press 10 “*”, screen displays “ZN ZT - RC IN : L”

is the zone number, ZT is the zone response type, RC is the report code, IN
is the input type & L is the loop number.

01 = ENTRY/EXIT #1
10 = INTERIOR W/DELAY
03 = PERIMETER

Report code values are in hexadecimal form & range from 01-15. A = 10,
but sends a 0 to central, B = 11, C = 12, D = 13, E = 14, & F = 15.
Press “*” to continue, screen displays “01 INPUT TYPE RF TRANS. 3” enter
the input type for this zone.
RF = (3)Supervised RF Transmitter (ex. 5816, 5817, 5890, 5806, etc.)
UR = (4)Unsupervised RF Transmitter (ex. 5802MN, 5802MN2, etc.)
BR = (5)Button RF (ex. 5804, 5804BD, 5802)

flashing under the L. Enter the desired loop number for this device.
Press “*” to continue, if the confirm bit was set at the beginning of zone
programming the screen will display “XMIT TO CONFIRM PRESS * TO
SKIP” fault the device to confirm the serial number & loop number, otherwise
see step 12.

Press “*” to continue, screen displays “PROGRAM APLHA? 0 = NO , 1 = YES
0”. If you want to program alpha descriptors for this zone press 1 & refer to
adding descriptors document, otherwise press 0.
Screen displays “ENTER ZN NUM. (00 = QUIT) 11” & repeat steps 6-13 or
press 00 to exit the *56 menu mode, then press “*” + 99 to exit program mode.
To program zones using the expert mode press “*” + 58, screen displays “SET
TO CONFIRM? 0 = NO , 1 = YES” press 1 to confirm the serial number &
loop number for each zone.

(ex. If 31 enter 3 + 1).
In the *58 expert mode you CANNOT enter Hexadecimal values for the
report code, you must use *56.
The cursor should be flashing under the IN, Enter the desired input type for this
zone. RF = Supervised RF (3), UR = Unsupervised RF (4), BR = Button Type
RF (5).
Press “*” to continue, screen displays “13 INPUT S/N L”

You can also press the “C” key to copy the previous zones serial number.
Enter the devices serial number or fault the device to enroll automatically.
Press “*” to continue, the cursor should now be flashing under the L. Enter the
devices loop number then press “*” to continue.
Screen Displays “XMIT TO CONFIRM PRESS * TO SKIP”. Fault the device
or press “*” to continue.
To program another zone repeat steps 25-32
To exit *58 expert mode press 00 when the cursor is flashing under the ZN,
screen displays “EXPERT MODE 58”
Press “*” + 99 to exit program mode.
