The BlackBerry Curve 9320 is designed to be easy to use and easy to own
and has everything a customer needs to stay socially connected to the people
and things that matter most to them. It features a dedicated BBM key, bringing
the power of RIM’s popular mobile social network up in an instant. The
Facebook® for BlackBerry and Twitter® for BlackBerry apps are included as
well as Social Feeds, which allow users to post updates to multiple social
applications simultaneously and capture updates from news sources (RSS),
social apps and instant messaging apps all in one consolidated view.

Navigation (Optical Track Pad and Hard Keys)
When using the new BlackBerry Curve 9320, navigate using the optical Track Pad which is ideal when fine
navigation is required for curser selection and refined editing.
Press the End key to return
to the Home Screen, or to
end a phone call.
Press the Send key to open
the Phone application or to
answer an incoming call.
At any time, press the Menu key to view
available actions. Press and hold to
multitask between open applications.
Navigate by sliding your
finger on the Track Pad.
Make a selection by clicking.
To return to a previous
screen at any time,
press the Escape key.

For more information on navigating BlackBerry 7.1 OS, a variety of tutorial videos
are preloaded on BlackBerry smartphones. Access these videos by selecting the
Setup icon on the Home Screen, scrolling down to Help & Tutorials, and
selecting the Tutorials icon.

Setup and Personalization
Setup
Getting your BlackBerry 7 smartphone up and running is
simple. Upon start up, you will be presented with a video
overview of your new smartphone as an introduction. To get
started, select the Setup icon on your Home Screen.
To add an email account, configure instant
messaging, social networking access or manage
Bluetooth® or Wi-Fi ® connections, just select the
appropriate icon, then follow the prompts.
Giving your new BlackBerry smartphone your own
personal touch is easy as well. In the
Personalization section, you can change your
Ring Tones, Wallpaper, Language, Font,
Password, Map your Convenience Key, etc.

The BlackBerry 7.1 OS comes with a variety of tools and resources to help you get the most out of your new

menu can point you in the right direction. Just type a keyword or choose from a list of topics.
Tutorials: Helpful video tutorials show you how to get the most out of your BlackBerry.
Tips & Tricks: Save time and maximize your efficiency with quick tips like finding apps,
managing indicators, doing things quickly, extending battery life and using phone shortcuts.
Glossary: There are many terms and acronyms associated with mobile technology. The built-in
glossary helps explain some of these terms.

Home Screen
Some of your favourite items like contacts, websites
and media can be added to the Home Screen
making them even easier to access.
To add an item to your Home Screen:
1. Highlight the item you want to add
2. Press the Menu key, or select and hold
the item to bring up available options
3. If available, select Add to Home Screen
in the menu that appears
4. Select Add
Managing Panels
You can decide which panels you want to display in
your navigation bar. To manage panels select the
Menu key and click on Manage Panels.

built right in to many of your favorite apps like Facebook,

Curve 9320 smartphone. It also includes video
capture, image stabilization, 4x digital zoom,

smartphone, without requiring a data plan or using data services. By selecting the built in FM Radio,
local news and music are now at your fingertips, so staying updated and knowing what’s going on in
your community is incredibly easy, even when you’re on the go.
You can use the FM Radio to listen to radio stations on your BlackBerry smartphone. To open FM
Radio, on the Home Screen, click the Media icon and then FM Radio.

Use these handy keyboard shortcuts to type and navigate more efficiently:






To type a period, press the Space key twice (next letter is capitalized too)
To type @ or a period into an email address, press the Space key
To insert your mobile number into any message, type ‘mynumber’ followed
by space
To insert your PIN into any message, type ‘mypin’ followed by Space
To move to the top of a message, webpage or the inbox, press T
To move to the bottom of a message, webpage or the inbox, press B
To navigate the Media Player without using the track pad:



To play the next track, press N or press and hold the Volume Up key
To pause or play the current track, press the Mute key
To play the previous track, press P or press and hold the Volume Down key
