TO OPERATE
1. Locate a 15 amp. electrical outlet. This machine draws approximately 14 amps. Plug your machine in. (See Grounding
Instructions)
2. Attach vacuum and solution hoses to appropriate connections on the machine and on the wand. As you do this, always .
inspect hoses for cracks or fraying. Do not use if hoses are cracked or frayed.
3. Mix hot water and approved extractor detergent in the solution tank in the front of the machine. Use a clean hose to fill
the solution lank. If a hose is not available use a clean bucket. Do not overfllll
4. There are three switches across the front of the machine. From left to right, they control the number one vacuum, the
number two vacuum, and the solution pump.
5. To begin extracting, tum the pump and vacuum motors on.
6. To release spray, pull back on the wand trigger.
GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS
This appliance must be grounded. If it should electrically malfunction, grounding provides a path of least resistance for

grounded in accordance with all local codes and ordinances.
AFTER USE
Store the machine in a cool dry place. Avoid prolonged exposure of machine to freezing temperatures during storage or

DANGER!
Improper connection of the equipmenlilrounding conductor can result in a risk of electric shock. Check with a quarilied
electrician or service person if you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is property grounded. Do not modify the plug
provided with the appliance. If it will not fit in the ou1Iet, have a proper ou1Iet installed by a qualified electrician.
This appliance is for use on a nominal 120-volt circuit and has a grounding plug. A temporary adapter may be used to
connect this plug to a 2-pole receptacle if a property grounded ouUet is not available. The temporary adapter should be
used only until a properly grounded outlet can be installed by a quaflfied electrician. The green colored rigid ear, tab, or the
like extending from the adapter must be connected to a permanent ground such as a properly grounded outlet box cover.
Whenever the adapter is used, ~ must be held in place by a metal screw. Grounding adapters are not approved for use in
Canada.
Replace the plug if the grounding pin is damaged or broken.
The Green (or GreenNellow) wire in the cord is the grounding wire. When replacing a plug, this wire must be attached to
the grounding pin only.
Extension cords connected to this machine should be 12 gauge, three-wire cords with three-prong plugs and outlets. DO
NOT use extension cords more than 50 feet (15 m) long.
PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
1. Thoroughly clean all equipment and accessories after each use.
a. Rinse solution and vacuum tank with clean water.
b. Rush entire solution system with clean water. This includes all solution hoses and wandIs). Do not allow liquids to
remain in equipment (vacuum/solution tank) after use.
c. Clean aUfilters and drain valve.
2. The solution system has two filters. One is located in the solution tank, the other is located in the base of the extractor.
This one is an in-line filter that is positioned direcUy off the pump head. Both filters need to checked daily and cleaned
when dirty in order for them to property filter debris from the solution tank. If e~r of the filters is missing or damaged,
they must be replaced before the machine is used.
3. Lubricate all quick disconnects.
4. De-scale entire solution system on a regular basis using MYTEE System Maintainer. This will counter act hard water
and alkaline deposits and aid in keeping orifices clean. The harder the water, the more frequent you will want to use the
System Maintainer on your system. Below is the recommended procedure for de-scaling the system.
a. Mix according to the directions provided with the System Maintainer.
b. Attach solution hose and wand to machine. Run solution pump for minimum of 5 minutes while holding the wand
trigger open and directing the flow of de-scaler into the solution tank so that ~ can recirculate through the entire
solution system. After 5 minutes, remove wand from solution tank and completely empty solution tank of recycled
system Maintainer and waste through the solution hose and drain into appropriate drain ouUet.
c. Fill solution tank with clean water and completely drain solution tank by holding open the wand trigger and draining
into appropriate drain oultet.
5. Do not use the same pail to fill the solution tank that is used to empty the waste tank. This would result in putting dirt
and debris into the solution lines that can block filters, orifices, and generally degrade solution line systems.
