Firmware, Dialog 442x
1
Reason for revision
This version of the application firmware shall be used in DBC 425 02 (Dialog
4425 version 2), DBC 422 02 (Dialog 4422 version 2) and DBC 420 02
(Dialog 4420).
New functionality
•
Missed call list in DBC 42502. When pressing the missed call softkey
the list shows only missed calls. To get the mixed list, with answered
incoming and outgoing calls also, the user has to select the Call List
tab.
•
Check for new firmware. The phone checks for new FW every 24 hrs.
In previous releases new firmware was only loaded if the phone was in
logged off state. From this release new firmware is also loaded when
the phone is registered, but not if the phone is in speech mode. New
parameters in the configuration file. TR 113932.
•
Corporate directory. The telephones can search a in the corporate
directory via the WAP browser in the phone. From this release an XML
interface can also be used. One reason for this addition is that the WAP
browser has some limitations when it comes to special characters in
some languages. This problem is solved with the XML version, but it
can only be used towards the CMG and D.N.A. corporate directory.
New parameter in the configuration file. TR71891, TT111693. The
solution provided in the R8B application did not work.
•
Configuration file fault. If the telephone finds a fault when reading the
configuration file, the fault is indicated in the administrator web
interface.
•
Language file fault. If the telephone finds a fault when reading the
language file, the fault is indicated in the administrator web interface
and when entering self test mode (C, *, 4).
•
Operator Media Device (OMD). If the telephone is used as an OMD:
when the PBX sends high ring signal level, the phone will take the ring
level as set by the user on the volume keys. When the PBX sends low
ring signal level, the phone works as before with a fixed low volume.
TR61021, TT081613.
