1.

Place the Indoor Antenna on or near the TV set.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station·s transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2. Connect the coaxial cable jumper cable to the antenna input connector on the back of your TV set.

Fig. 1 on page 8.

3. Plug the power cord into the back of the antenna. Plug the power adapter into a standard power outlet.

Extend the telescoping VHF elements to their maximum length. See

Fig. 2

5.

Optimize the reception by adjusting the position of the telescoping elements for VHF channels, or by adjusting the position and angle of the UHF loop antenna.

1.

2. Branchez le cable de connexion coaxial au raccord df arrivee d' antenne a

Branchez le cordon electrique dans l'arriere de l'antenne. Branchez l'adaptateur de courant dans une prise electrique ordinaire (fig.

1).

4. Allongez a leur longueur maximale les tiges telescopiques VHF (fig.

2).

5.

Optimisez Ia reception en ajustant Ia position des tiges telescopiques pour les chaines VHF ou en ajustant Ia position et I' angle de I' antenne a cadre UHF (fig. 3).

6.

L' installation est maintenant complete.

The CM-4045HD can be installed either on the wall or placed on

a

table top.

Table Top Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station·s transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2.

Place antenna near the TV set, digital to analog converter box or computer tuner with the antenna lying flat or horizontal as shown in

Fig

4.

Shelf, table or entertainment centers are good locations for the antenna. Having the antenna near a window can improve performance.

3.

Connect the coax cable to the antenna input port of the TV set, digital to analog converter box or computer tuner.

Wall Mount Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station·s transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2.

Connect the coax cable to the antenna input port of the TV set, digital to analog converter box or computer tuner.

3.

The antenna can be wall mounted vertically using the 2 screw slots on the back of the antenna.

The CM-4046HD can be installed either on the wall or

placed on a table top.

Wall Mount Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station's transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2. Mount tt:'le two wood screws on the wall where the antenna will be mounted. The screws need to be level and 80 mm (3.149") apart. See

Fig.

Snap the supplied plastic mounting bracket into the two holes on the back of the antenna and push the bracket up to lock it in place. See

Fig.

Align the two holes on the mounting bracket with the screws installed on the wall, push the bracket onto the screws, then push down to lock it in place. See

Table Top Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station's transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2.

The antenna can be installed either vertically or horizontally. For table top installations, the supplied plastic stand is installed onto the back of the antenna.

The end of the stand has two ridges, which are used to select the mounting orientation.

3.

For vertical installations, insert the plastic stand into the hole on the back of the antenna in the position marked "Vertical". See

Fig. 8

For horizontal installations, insert the plastic stand into the hole on the back of the antenna in the position marked "Horizontal". See

5.

Place the antenna in the desired orientation on the table top near the TV set.

Connecting the Antenna to the TV Set

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station·s transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2. Place the Indoor Antenna on or near the TV set. Orient the antenna so the flat surface side is facing the direction of the desired TV stations.

3.

Connect the included jumper cable to the output connector on the antenna, and then connect the other end of the jumper to the antenna input connector on the back of your TV set. See

Fig.

Plug the power cord into the back of the antenna.

CM-4050HD Installation Instructions:

The CM-4050HD antenna has two mounting options. It

can

either be clamped to

a

surface using the included clamp, or

can

be placed

on a

table top using the supplied stand.

Clamp Base Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station's transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2.

Loosen up the wing nut on the back of the clamp base to open up the clamp to the required width. The clamp base can be used to mount to surfaces that are

1" to 2.5" thick. See

Fig.

Place the clamp base over the surface to which it will be installed, and tighten up the wing nut until the clamp base is firmly attached. See

Fig. 11 a

4.

Install the antenna onto the clamp base by snapping the post on the antenna into the hole in the clamp base. See

Table Top Stand Installation

1.

Identify the direction of the desired TV station's transmitter by using

www.antennaweb.org.

2.

Install the antenna onto the table top base by snapping the post on the antenna into the hole in the table top base. See

3.

Place the Indoor Antenna on or near the TV set.

Connect the antenna output cable to the antenna input connector on the back of your N set. See Fig. 13

Plug the power cord into the back of the antenna.

Plug the power adapter into a standard power outlet.

Optimize the reception by rotating the antenna on the base.

WARRANTY

GENERAL TERMS:

1.1 Subject to the provisions of this Warranty, CHANNEL MASTER warrants that the equipment and software described in Paragraph 1.2 will conform to our specifications in all material respect and that the equipment will be free from material defects in materials and workmanship during the Limited Warranty period. 1.2 This Warranty applies to all original purchases by Customers of CHANNEL MASTER ("Equipment"). The warranties set forth herein are not transferable. 1.3 The Effective period of this Warranty will start on the date of purchase of the Equipment or the date of installation by a CHANNEL MASTER approved technician and will end, for the Equipment, ninety (90) days later (for all component parts and system upgrades), unless otherwise expressed or provided herein (in each case the

"Warranty Period"). RETURN OF EQUIPMENT UNDER WARRANTY:

2.1 If an item of Equipment malfunctions or fails in normal use within the applicable Warranty Period:

(a) the Customer shall notify CHANNEL MASTER within thirty (30) days of the problem. (b)

Storage or environmental characteristics which do not conform to the applicable sections of the appropriate Equipment

Instruction Sheet; (c) Failure to conform with the Equipment Operating

Manual or

Instructions in the applicable Equipment Manual or Instruction Sheet; (d) External causes, including equipment, external electrical stress or lightning, or use in conjunction with incompatible unless such use was with CHANNEL MAStER's prior written request;

(e) Cosmetic damage; (f) Accidental damage, negligence, modification, mishandling, abuse or (g) Force Majeure.

LIMITATION ON DAMAGES: or misuse;

7.1 THIS WARRANTY IS THE

CUSTOMER'S EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY FOR THE EQUIPMENT, CHANNEL MASTER

SPECIFICALLY DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR

IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE

AND OF MERCHANTABILITY. 7.2 CHANNEL MASTER WILL NOT BE LIABLE IN TORT,

INCLUDING LIABILITY IN NEGLIGENCE OR STRICT LIABILITY, AND WILL HAVE NO

LIABILITY AT ALL FOR INJURY TO PERSONS OR PROPERTY. CHANNEL MASTER'S

LIABILITY FOR FAILURE TO FULFILL ITS OBLIGATIONS UNDER THIS WARRANTY OR
