The kit includes HAND-OFF-AUTO, OFF-ON, FOR-OFF-REV and HIGH-OFF-LOW selector switches.

The switches can be mounted on arc box covers with predrilled accessory mounting holes or threaded inserts. They can also be mounted on arc box covers where the accessory mounting holes align with the cover screw holes. See figures 1 and 2 for details.

The AUTO position allows for a remote pilot device, such as a pressure switch or thermostat, to give automatic control for the starter or contactor.

The control kits can be used with Furnas NEMA 1 enclosures. Many Furnas NEMA 1 enclosures are designed with cover knock-outs properly located so that the control kits can be used with the starters or contactors mounted within the enclosure.
