Wire & Wiring Notes:

18 gauge wire is the minimum recommended size. For runs in excess of 100 feet it is best to use 16 gauge or larger.

Strip ¼” off each wire. Ensure that all strands are twisted together and inserted into respective terminals. It is best to re-install the wire if stray strands are apparent, though trimming them may also work. Stray strands can bridge circuits, which can damage the switch and the electronics that are connected to the switch.

Perform an initial functional test at low volume levels to prevent damage to the switch and other electronics.

Always observe the correct polarity (+ to +) and (- to -) for all connections.

Precautions When Using Multiple Speakers

Because most amplifiers are designed to operate between 4 and 8 ohms an impedance compensating device should be used when using more than two pair of 8 ohm speakers. Your OEM Systems dealer has

Impedance Matching Volume Controls available for this purpose.

Contact OEM Systems Co. or your dealer if you have questions about how to best configure your system.

B) Connect the LEFT & RIGHT INPUT terminals of the Volume Control to the OUTPUT terminals of the IW-101, (L+ L- R+ R-).

Note: The LEFT and RIGHT channel inputs are on opposite sides of the OUTPUT terminals.

Connect the LEFT & RIGHT Channel Outputs of "Amplifier B" to terminals B+ and B- of the LEFT INPUT and

RIGHT INPUT of the IW-101

Connect the LEFT & RIGHT Channel Outputs of "Amplifier A" to terminals A+ and A- of the LEFT INPUT and RIGHT

INPUT of the IW- 101. Note: The LEFT and RIGHT channel inputs are on opposite sides of the OUTPUT terminals.

Connect the LEFT & RIGHT Channel Outputs of "Amplifier B" to terminals B+ and B- of the LEFT INPUT and RIGHT INPUT of the IW-101 IW-101
