Motion by Commission Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve acceptance of funds for the CJD – Regional Communication Response Project in the amount of $122,679.01. The Grant Application was approved in Commissioners Court on March 24, 2014. No County match is required. Funds to be allocated to the Sheriff’s

Radio Budget, 560163. Motion carried.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT APPROVED – SPILLMAN TECHNOLOGIES –

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve authorizing Judge Sadler to sign the Purchase Agreement with Spillman Technologies, Inc. in the amount of $2,633,732.87 for Computer-Aided-Dispatch (CAD), Mobile, Records

Management System (RMS) and ancillary software and services approved in Special

Session of Commissioners Court on June 2, 2014. Texas Department of Information

Resources (DIR) Contract, DIR-SDD-1623, previously approved at Commissioner Court on April 7, 2014. The computer hardware costs associated with this project for the servers, including storage and other ancillary hardware are to be an additional cost not to exceed

$225,000.00. Motion carried.

10. CONTRACT AWARDED – REBEL CONTRACTORS - PURCHASING

Motion by Commissioner Rinehart, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve awarding Contract to Rebel Contractors, Inc. for Deerwood Neighborhood Drainage

Improvements – GLO Contract No. 12-477-000-6642 (Project 2014-0050) –

Infrastructure, in the amount of $804,070.31. Motion carried.

11. AMENDMENT APPROVED – INMATE TELEPHONE AGREEMENT – COUNTY

ATTORNEY

Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve First

Amendment To Inmate Telephone Service Agreement between Montgomery County and

Global Tel*Link Corporation. Eight lines of text after the first paragraph in “4.

Compensation.” shall be deleted and replaced by:

ATTORNEY

Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve the

Agreement between Montgomery County, Texas and Our Lady of the Lake University for professional services by the Department of Psychology for Managed Assigned

Counsel – Mental Health. Motion carried.

13. REQUEST APPROVED – RAY CUNNINGHAM – COUNTY ATTORNEY

Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve the

Personal Services Agreement And Release Of Liability between Montgomery County,

Texas and Ray Cunningham (Contractor) and Authorize Judge Sadler to execute

Agreement on behalf of the County. Motion carried.

14. REQUEST APPROVED – ASSIGNMENT OF LEASE AGREEMENT – COUNTY

ATTORNEY

Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve an

Assignment of Lease Agreement with consent of Lessor by and between Gulf

Management, LLC and Michael R. Gibala and Holly J. Gibala for 1,512 square feet of land located within the Lone Star Executive Airport. Motion carried.

15. FUNDING APPROVED – 2014 FOURTH OF JULY – COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 1

Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Doyal, to approve funding of $2,000.00 to the 2014 Fourth of July celebration to be hosted by the San Jacinto River

Authority. Funding source 612-7499. Motion carried.

16. REQUEST APPROVED – NEW POSITIONS – COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 1

Motion by Commissioner Meador, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve the following:

Budgeted salary for each: $22,620.00

17. REQUEST APPROVED – TRANSFER OF FUNDS – COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 2

Motion by Commissioner Doyal, seconded by Commissioner Meador, to approve the transfer of $1,823.12 from 612-2900-600 to 612-3202-2. Motion carried.

18. REQUEST APPROVED – POSITION CHANGE – COMMISSIONER PRECINCT 3

Motion by Commissioner Noack, seconded by Commissioner Rinehart, to approve the position change of 6142-3101-600 from 2080 hours to 1508 hours annually. Motion carried.

IMPROVEMENT ASSOCIATION

Motion by Commissioner Doyal, seconded by Commissioner Noack, to approve the

Proclamation congratulating the residents and the Board of Directors of the River

Plantation Community Improvement Association for their contribution to making River

Plantation a desirable community for raising children and families, and for making River

Plantation a wonderful place to live. Motion carried.
