Frequently asked questions

Inspect the air filter during normal oil servicing intervals (every 3000 miles or 3 months). You may need to clean/re-oil the filter about every other regular oil change, but service intervals may vary due to climate/regional differences. Remember, a clean filter flows more air, allowing your vehicle to run better.

Inspect and replace worn belt when inspecting as per the Honda/Acura service schedule.

The blower unit should not require any servicing for 70,000+ miles. If the blower unit shows signs of any wear or defects, please contact our technical support.

The fuel pressure regulator should be inspected and replaced as per the Honda/Acura service schedule.

What are the specific wiring modifications required for the Advanced Control Module (ACM) installation?

For 2004-2005 models, locate the Green/Red wire at pin #D5 of connector "E" at the ECM. Cut this wire and use solder splice connectors to connect the Green wire from the ACM to the Green/Red wire going to the ECM, and connect the White/Green wire from the ACM to the Green/Red wire going to the engine. For 2006 models, the Green/Red wire is located at pin #C5 of connector "A" at the ECM, and the same splicing procedure applies.
