Playing the Pads

Similar to an acoustic drum kit, pads respond differently to various playing techniques and dynamics.

All the pads are velocity sensitive, and some voices can change timbre depending on your striking force and your sound module settings.

Head or Rim Shot

The 11" drum pad detects head and rim shots, allowing you to trigger separate voices.

Cymbal Bow or Edge Shots

Cymbal pads detect bow and edge shots, allowing you to trigger separate voices.

Cymbal Pad Choke

Choking the cymbal’s edge with your hand immediately after hitting the cymbal mutes the cymbal sound, similar to an acoustic cymbal.
