Migration and Compatibility
The following are instructions on how to migrate from a previous release to version 6.1.0 of TIBCO
ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for BusinessConnect.
Migrating from Release 6.0.x
1. In TIBCO Business Studio
™
, export the existing 6.0.x projects to the local disk.
a. From the menu, click File > Export.
b. In the Export dialog, expand General > Studio Projects to Archive, and then click Next.
c. In the Export Project dialog, select the projects that you want to export, specify an archive file on the local file disk in the To Archive File field, and keep other default configurations.
d. Click Finish to export the selected projects.
2. Uninstall TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for BusinessConnect 6.0.x.
3. Install TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for BusinessConnect 6.1.0.
4. Start TIBCO Business Studio and create a workspace.
5. In TIBCO Business Studio, import the previously exported projects.
a. From the menu, click File > Import.
b. In the Import dialog, expand General > Existing Studio Projects into Workspace, and then click Next.
c. In the Import Projects dialog, click Browse next to the Select archive file field to navigate to the
project file exported in Step 1
, and then select the projects that you want to import.
d. Click Finish to import the selected projects.
For any new schema changes between different TIBCO BusinessConnect
™
protocol versions, each
ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks Plug-in for BusinessConnect project must be synchronized with the
TIBCO BusinessConnect configuration database so that the new schema can take effect.

BWBC-235 Summary: When updating operation data from a configuration store, if the schemas of operations include the nested schema that is not contained in the configuration store, the nested schema cannot be completely imported into TIBCO ActiveMatrix
BusinessWorks.
Workaround: To import the nested schema from the configuration store:
1. Copy the nested schema to the
TIBCO_HOME/studio/version_number/eclipse directory. After this step, the configurations can be imported.
2. To correct the error of the schema, copy the nested schema to the current project, and change the value of the
schemaLocation
schema attribute of the
import
element to the correct relative path.
